(8/10) To Yda, the magic felt almost like a breeze on her skin, strange but not enough so to make her wonder what it was. Instead, she was already halfway up the trunk of the tree, fingers reaching for the vee where the branch split off it, ready to heave herself up to the branch. IT wasn't particularly thick, but she was confident that it would fit her weight.
The branch sagged just a bit under her, regardless. "No, I don't - but maybe she'll just be happy to meet a new friend?" She suggested hopefully.

A chuckle left Kitya's lips. "As much as I appreciate your optimism, let me toss this up to you." The Yaeli dug into her satchel and held out a smaller pouch, pieces of crystal nestled inside. She reached forward and paused to give Sia a crystal piece from the pouch before sealing it back and moving, a wind helping her to guide the pouch towards the child.
"I'm sure she'll be delighted to meet you and the crystal will be a bonus." Called out Kitya with a small smile, her hands resting at her side now that her conjured wind had carried the bag towards the youngling. Already Mio's head was moving upwards, her golden gaze fixated on the child as she approached.

(9/10) More magic - and this time Yda couldn't ignore it. Her mouth dropped open in wonder, legs clinging onto branch so she could free her hands to take the pouch, her other hand reaching out as if to try and touch the wind. It breezed, cool, against her fingertips until it stopped, and she looked tempted to ask for more magic... but instead she looked at the little snake, who had perked up so cutely.
"Hi there Miss Mio...!" Yda greeted, shaking a crystal into her palm, holding her arm out. "Come here so I can bring you home to mama, okay?"

At least it looked like everything was going well. Kitya relaxed more as she saw the youngling reaching out towards her keldari. Thankfully Mio was invested now that she saw the snack and the familiar started to slowly slither across the branch towards the youngling. Rather than simply taking the food the keldari continued moving until she touched the youngling's arm, slowly moving along until she was resting on the younglings shoulder. From there she took the crystal and stayed in place, content to hang out on the youngling since she was accustomed to also doing the same to Kitya.
"Mio." Kitya could only shake her head with amusement. "I guess you did make a new friend today." She teased the youngling as she waited by the base of the tree for their descent. Kitya was just thankful that things had turned out well and somehow she had even entertained a youngling for the day with her keldaris' mischievousness.

(10/10) Yda smiled, blissful as the snake slithered up her arm, shivering and giggling at the strange, but lovely sensation. Once Mio was settled, Yda gently pat her head, then hastened down the tree again, dismounting with a bounce and a playful pose. Then, she stood still so Kitya could extricate the snake from her shoulders, beaming.
"I like keldari too! They're sooo pretty. I'm happy we found 'em!"
