What's the Difference between RP Points and Stat (XP) Points? Stats unlock magic, spells, titles, critters, and special stages. Think of these as traits that can be used ICly for your character to grow and change.

RP Points are more of an OOC currency. While you can exchange RP points for stats, you can also turn RP points to obtain items, additional art, breeding and rarity crystals, etc.

A good rule of them is that XP Points / Stats tend to be focused on specific characters, where RP Points grant you things that can be used on any character in the shop!

Can an RP be used to obtain both RP Points and XP Point? Theoretically, yes! So long as you submit them both to the appropriate threads, and they follow the criteria. Not every RP will be eligible for stats/XP -- but every RP can eventually be used to grant RP points. Sort of like how every square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square -- so it goes with RP and stats!

How can I earn XP points?
There are various ways! The easiest way to earn XP points is write a solo or RP that involved whatever stat you need! Not only will this also let you earn RP points, but you can focus on what you need!

There are also monthly events that grant XP of some sort, a prompt thread you can roll from to gain a larger amount of XP, and participation in event can also get you points! RP Staff can also periodically swoop in and grant you XP so it doesn't hurt to participate!

XP earned through RP will be treated similar to RP points so you might earn partial points.
