Moon Lily (Michelle's Backstory)

Michelle Tsukino, the young woman who ended up in a zombie-infested New York from somewhere else. This is her backstory.

It was a full moon and a female scientist made her way out to her garden to tend the lone most natural experiment yet. A large life-sized lily that always seemed bathed in the light of the moon at night. Even when there was no moon to be seen in the sky.

Bria had been tracking the latest development over the last week of the lily; the results of fresh fox blood from a fox that had spent multiple weeks sleeping under the lily. It had resulted in a gradual split color change in the lily's leaves that finally reached the tips. Bria had a good feeling that this would be the night the lily would open

And it would seem that Bria was right. The beam of light that was a constant on the lily would expand as the lily began to open up. What was revealed upon its opening was something Bria had definitely not expected. A young teenage girl with long blonde hair and fox ears was curled in a fetal position while sleeping in the middle of the lily

The girl started to stir, slowly opening her eyes

"Indeed. I don't think I've seen such. I did hear a story about a boy who was born from a peach. But anyway, seeing something like this with my own eyes is very interesting."
