"To be fair I'm sure Delilah's been burning the candle at both ends," Mercy threw in trying to help her friend. "I'm more than happy to help though, with the training I mean. After the meeting of course."

She could at least and try to buy Delilah some time.

"Besides, I'm sure it's not a petty little project," Mercy added, shaking her head. "I mean, yeah - the safety of all is important, but there really hasn't been ANYTHING to worry about lately so..."

She motioned around them. "Why the sudden Red Alert?"

Mercy had about to agree with Delilah, it wasn't like they were super heroes or something - besides being a vigilante was TOTALLY illegal and Mercy really could not afford any sort of actual record if she wanted to practice law. In her two years as a senshi they had never called upon her for anything - she'd figured it was just some strange sort of magical conflux that made her mother's books even more ironic.

She was sure that Arianna's words were meant to have some gravitas to them. Had this been a TV show or a movie they probably would have been punctuated by a burst of lightning and a thunderclap, but as this was reality well... They were words. They probably meant something.

"Okay," Mercy said, giving a bit of a shrug. "So the meeting is going to be about that I take it?"

Look, she wasn't AGAINST answering the call - she just wanted to be sure it was a legit emergency before she completely had to restructure her life around this whole thing.

"Well at least it's no on one of my streaming nights I've canceled too many of those lately," She added with a soft sigh.
