She yelled back to assure him she is on it. But then... The powerful howl of the Grimm hit her, her body did not move an inch but the pain was hella big "grrrrrr shut up already!" Azriel yelled in pain as cracks in her exoskeleton began to form, Zakum would quickly smack the Grimm's mouth shut with powerful blows from both up and down and would try to hold its head down to the ground, long enough for Rey to come in for his own attacks, Azriel herself would pant in pain as her ears rang, after all she was point blank from the screeching Grimm.
