Aircraft -- Noë has been fascinated by aircraft since she was a little girl. A fan of vintage military aircraft in particular, she loves to go to airshows and can spot various planes by make and model whether they are in the air or on the ground, reciting their usage from memory. She loves to hang out at the airport helping build and repair personal and experimental aircraft. Her greatest ambition is to become a pilot herself; with her typical determination she is working toward getting her private pilot's license.
Bug-Hunting -- Noë loves nature in general, but she has a real soft spot for bugs. She loves observing all the bugs in her father's garden, but she won't kill them, even the pests; she knows which ones are natural predator and prey, and prefers to let nature take its course. The really big ones are her favorites, like mantises and dragonflies and millipedes. She even keeps some bugs, including exotic species such as hissing roaches, in terrariums in her room.
Lacrosse -- LaX is one of the ways Noë gets out her frustrations with people and things that get in the way of what she wants to accomplish. She's as aggressive as you can get in girls lacrosse, which means she'll come as close to body-checking as possible without drawing a foul, but she'll stick-check as hard as she can. Noë plays midfield, and she regularly scores for her team ahead of the designated attackers; she's also a fierce defender on the other end of the field. Noë is also the team captain, keeping the girls focused and motivated.
Pros:
Read You Like a BookPerceptive -- Noë is very good at reading people, picking up on all the little "tells" people give away with their emotional responses to a situation. She is also good at reading situations; she can see both the big picture and and the smallest detail of a given scenario, and has a natural knack for tactics and strategy as a result. She's not captain of the school's girls lacrosse team for nothing; she is a good leader because she can accurately read her teammates and work with them accordingly. And they adore and respect her.
BraveheartCourageous -- With the death of her mother at age 7 and the impact it had on her father, Noë has had to grow up fast, often taking on the role of the "adult" in the household. She is a brave, fearless young woman, not afraid of anyone or anything. When faced with conflict she won't back down, preferring to face the source of the conflict and work it through one way or another. She doesn't wilt in the face of adversity of any type, either physical or psychological or emotional.
Kind-Hearted SoulCompassionate -- Noë cares deeply about people and the human condition. She is sensitive to the emotions of others and concerned about their well-being, ready and willing to help whomever might need it. Understanding loss the way she does, she deeply cares for those who are going through the same struggle. She is also keenly compassionate towards animals -- she is a die-hard vegetarian and has been since she was six. (Dairy, eggs and honey are gifts from the animals in thanks for not eating them.)
Cons:
Lilke a MuleWillful -- Strong-willed and obstinate, Noë is like the irresistible force and the immovable object rolled into one. Once she sets her mind on something, woe betide anyone who tries to dissuade her or get in her way. She believes she knows what is best for her and will not listen to anyone who tries to convince her otherwise. If it's an authority figure such as a teacher or her father, she will argue her position until she is blue in the face and sulk if denied; anyone else she will fight tooth and nail for her point of view to be heard.
Don't Need No HelpProud -- Noë is one of those people who just won't ask for help, no matter how much she may need it. Stubbornly proud of her own abilities and what she's survived and accomplished, she feels she can take care of anything that might come up in her life; she won't even ask for help from her father or her teammates on the lacrosse team. She's not haughty or stuck-up by any stretch, but she is definitely no shrinking violet.
Little TigerAggressive -- Regardless of whether she is tackling problems in her life, playing lacrosse, engaged in an actual fight, or whatever, Noë is a born warrior. Competitive and ruthless, she gives no quarter and asks none. Sometimes though she is too aggressive, bulling through a situation with much more force than is really called for under the circumstances. She is definitely a take-charge kind of person, and will often shove people out of the way in order to do something herself.
General Appearance
Eyes: Large, wide and inquisitive, a warm brown in color, topped by thin straight brows
Hair: Dark red, messy bob just brushing her shoulders, with thick bangs
Face: heart-shaped face with a sharp determined chin and nose. She does smile when she's enjoying herself, but her default expression tends to be either pensive or stern determination. Noë tends to shun makeup, not being much of a girly girl at all.
Skin Tone: clear fair skin that's lightly tanned from being outdoors all the time
Body Type: Around 5'7", long-legged, athletic and strong, with wide shoulders, small bust, and a narrow waist
Clothes: Noë dresses for comfort and practicality. She's a jeans-and-t-shirt kind of girl, usually seen in plain white tees or tank tops tucked into blue jeans. She prefers tall lace-up sneakers over anything else. She doesn't wear much in the way of jewelry, just simple studs in each ear.

Sailor Scout Attack: Empathic Touch. This power acts as an empathic buff to Nausikaa's allies. Removing her glove, she touches her target and focuses her mind on a particular emotion that will help them, i.e. calmness, courage, etc. The target is then empathically susceptible to the emotion and can become calmer, braver, or whatever emotion Nausikaa is focusing on if their willpower allows it. Nausikaa has to remove her glove and physically touch her target for it to take effect (she does not need to maintain physical contact with them). Duration: 15 seconds/1 post AoE: one target at a time Uses: up to three times per day.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Empathic Grasp. This power acts as an empathic buff to Nausikaa's allies. Removing her glove, she touches her target and focuses her mind on a particular emotion that will help them, i.e. calmness, courage, etc. The target is then empathically susceptible to the emotion and can become calmer, braver, or whatever emotion Nausikaa is focusing on if their willpower allows it. Nausikaa has to remove her glove(s) and physically touch her target(s) for it to take effect (she does not need to maintain physical contact with them). Eternal Sailor Attack: Empathy Meditation. This power acts as an empathic distraction/debuff to Nausikaa's enemies. Closing her eyes, Nausikaa slips into a meditative state and concentrates on the emotions of everyone on the field of battle. As she comes out of the meditation and says the attack name, the amber stone in her brooch glows and shoots out a beam of energy toward her enemy. When it hits them, they are immediately bestowed with empathy, susceptible to the feelings of Nausikaa and her allies in a jumble of multiple conflicting emotions, making the opponent feel the ups and downs of battle in real time as it affects them. There is a strong chance of the enemy being distracted enough by this attack that Nausikaa or an ally can attack them. They can attempt to dodge the energy beam; they can also fight the effects of the attack with their willpower. Nausikaa is vulnerable to attack herself during the brief period she is in the meditative state. Duration: 45 seconds/3 posts AoE: one target; within 20 feet of Nausikaa Uses: once per day.

2003: Noë born in Mayet to Melissa and Bradley Wilson 2008: announces that she is going to be a pilot when she grows up; first trip to the airport 2009: announces that she is a vegetarian after a school field trip to a farm 2010: Noë's mom diagnosed with bone cancer; Noë becomes the "little mother" of the house 2012: Noë's mom dies 2015: has become a fixture at the civil aviation portion of the airport, helping with private and experimental planes 2018: begins pursuing her private pilot's license before she can even drive a car legally; takes up lacrosse at school 2019: awakened as Nausikaa by the Watchful Guardian 2020: continues going to school, playing lacrosse, hanging out at the airport and learning about/working on aircraft, tending to her bug collection; also experimenting with this senshi stuff. 2021: present day; named captain of the girls lacrosse team, debating taking a year off before college at Treva

One wall of Noë's room is literally covered with terrariums, in which insects of various species live. All of them have names having to do with aviation, and all of them are large. Among her pets, she has a pair of hissing roaches named Charles and Amelia, an Indian walking stick named Orville, and an African giant millipede named Buzz. No tarantula, which would be the obvious pet -- hilariously, she's afraid of spiders.
Even though she is mastering the skill of flying an aircraft, Noë is something of a cowboy when it comes to driving a car. She loves to drive fast, and has already gotten warnings about speeding (no tickets yet, thankfully). She's also a little reckless and really enjoys driving on winding, twisting roads. If she wasn't so interested in aviation she probably would have become a racecar driver. Her father is planning on buying her a Mini Cooper for graduation.
Besides math and science, Noë's favorite subject in school is history. She especially loves learning about ancient history and warrior societies, and has a particular fondness for the Mongols and Scythians and other nomadic horse cultures. She's done some reading on them on her own, and has also researched the historic Amazons for fun. She credits her ruthlessness on the lacrosse field to her studies.
Noë is a near-lifelong vegetarian. She decided this for herself at age 6 after visiting a farm on a school field trip; once she learned that the animals (even the sweet cows!) were eventually going to be slaughtered for food, she declared that Animals Are Not Meant To Be Eaten, and hasn't touched a bit of meat since. (She still eats things like milk, eggs, and honey, saying that they're gifts from the animals for not harming them.) Stir-fry veggies she harvests from her father's garden in the backyard, served with rice or soba noodles, is one of her favorite dishes to cook. She also makes a mean spinach and ricotta quiche.
