- Music -- Kes loves music. She's more than just your average mediaphile though -- Kes is also big into the history of music and likes collecting old cassettes and records, as well as CDs or streamed music. It's a fascinating subjecdt! She's not against playing music from the past in with her modern fare and she'll always haooy
Painting -- Kes... Is slightly odd. She likes painting, but she paints dead people, or people she's lost to drifting apart. They're very nioce paintings and Kes tries to be detailled and even uses good paints, but it's just... Slightly offputting. At least there's A painting of idols like Bowie, or Freddie Mercury...
Cooking -- Kes has tastes. Spicy food tastes. She adores Chinese cuisine, spicy cuisine from other places, and sometimes non-spicy foods. But if she wants a hot spicy meal, she has to make it, so she picked up cooking. And she's highly skilled at it. Kes can make a lot of things, not just spicy pain foods, and she has weaponized her cooking -- you know she's furious when you find that dip that looked creamy and Ranchlike actually makes your mouth feel like there's a new sun forming in it. Regardless, Kes cooks. And it's great.

- "Insanity laughs, under pressure we're breaking..." Friendly -- The world is hard and Kes knows it too well, what with her father dying of cancer and her mother losing her second child. So, Kes has made a totally aggressive decision to be everyone's friend. She's also just, well, naturally friendly. Kes is happy and friendly with everyone, from family to friends to a homeless guy on the street. Kes is happy to talk to anyone, about anything. She wants to be a friend to the people, and in her small way she puts out as much positivity as she can. People need i, and Kes wants to offer it.
"You've been - Thunderstruck!" Capable -- Kes is actually a capable person. She's good at getting things done and at seeing to it they're done properly, which people never seem to expect. She's noty capable in just painting or music - she's capable handling others as well, in seeing to affairs she dips into and she usually completes them. It's a pleasant surprise when she finishes a task, as people never seem to think she's actually able to finish things properly.
Cons:
- "Sing us a song you're the piano man; sing us a song tonight." Bombastic -- Kes has energy. A LOT of energy. She pours it into virtually everything and dislikes being idle. Alas, he energy is hollow and topical only; a lot of it is basically an effort to try dragging people from their ruts and her timing, many times, isn't the best. What is it? A cover for her own darker emotions. Kes is so aggressively positive and friendly that she's uncomfortable when things go south; she's alwatys been the family fixer, the one to prop others up, so lowering the energy and letting others see her miserable is.. Very hard, even if people dislike it.
Don't believe the church and state, and everyt5hing they tell you; believe in me, I'm with the high command..." Stubborn -- When Kes makes up her mind, that's it, you won't convince her otherwise. From political views to how to properly peel an orange to whether Uncle Roger is funny, all fields fall under this terrible risk. It's not even an 'a*****e' thing, so much as a simple... Thing. And when it screws things up for her, Kes will still plow through, taking a large deal of convincing to change her mind -- something that irritates people after a point, minus the most determined souls.
General Appearance
Kes is... Well, average height - 5'5 - with a small build, being small boned; officially, Kes is Chinese-American, with a pale skintone that has more yellowed undertones from her mother's side. Kes has bright, near0neon blue eyes, and typically wears eyeliner, neon blue or black lipstick, and sometmes wears just a tiny bit of glitter in her eyeshadows, which are generally natural dues or blacks. Kes has short black hair that's VERY fluffy and has neon blue bangs brushed left over her left eye. Kes' most typical outfit is a tank that exposes her midriff, arm gloves up to the middle of her upper arm, a neon blue beld, and black PVC pants with neon blue PVC diamonds down the sides down into black, folded-top style velvet high heel calf boots. Occasionally, she sneaks pink in via a pair of wireless Razer Kitty Kraken Headphones, which flash blue when active and linked to her phone or, with work, tied to her DJing gear, which takes more time but seeing little kids happy and nerdy adults happy is W O R T H.
