 Wightrose and Hikaru had discovered the locations of two demigods just recently. It was a feat that Wight still marveled over. But here he was, walking with his family carrying the basket that held Yang inside. The baby was asleep, lulled by the gentle rocking motion as her adopted father walked alongside his mate.  The baby in Wight's basket was Yang, a demigod of unimaginable power. But as a tiny kitten still, it was hard to say just what her power would manifest into being. For now she was content to sleep, content knowing that her twin brother was safe nearby.  Behind them, Moonrose hopped along the path, pouncing on the shadows of fluttering leaves from high above. She tried to peer up and see which ones cast the shadows, but she never did. And whenever she did this, she fell behind her family. Racing to catch up to them, she never did quite lose them at any given time.

Asuka yelled from ahead of Moonrose. "you are going to be left behind! Hurry up slow poke!" She jumped up and started flying towards her sister, then started pushing her to move faster, but in a nice way, not mean. She just was protective of her and didnt want anything to think of her sister as lunch.
Hikaru carried lil yin, so tiny. "look how lil they are, oh its been awhile since those two have been babies." she laughed jingling the basket a little.
The jingling of the basket rose yin from his sleep, he coed and started so look for his twin sister. He missed her so much. He began to cry, loudly. He was more agrivated then sad, he wanted his sister and he wanted her now!!

"Eek!" Moonrose squeaked in surprised as her sister pushed her from behind. "I can walk myself, thank you!" Her face was a grimace but she soon laughed because it also tickled. It spurred her on ahead. "I'm going, I'm going!"
Wight chuckled. He was glad they had found two of the sisters to come along on this little picnic. It had not been planned, it was simply a nice day to have one. They came upon a clearing as Yin started fussing for his sister. "We're here."
Yang's ear flicked as she heard her brother complaining. Their time apart had been traumatizing and once she realized they were in different baskets began to mew desperately.
Moonrose set down her basket and cooed at Yang. "It's all right, Yang. Your brother is here." He picked her up by the scruff of her neck and gently deposited her into Hikaru's basket.
Yang fussed for a little longer until she was in a tight ball with her brother.

"You are so interested in the leaves, let's go see them!!!" Asika picked up moonvand flew up to the tops of the trees. "Is that better?" She giggled, this is how they used to play, it felt great to do it again.
"OH my, my poor babies. She watched them cuddle, it was so cute. She went over to rose and kiss him on the nose. "You are such a good daddy" she smiled at him. Then leaned against him, because she treasured this family.
Yin coed and purred next to his sister, baby talking to her. Seemed like he was talking to her, but just making baby noises. He loved his sister. He didn't like being apart that long, not since they were found. He put a paw on yang nose.

"Eeeek!" Moon could not help but shriek as her sister picked her up and flew up to the treetops. Like her father she could not fly, but she could climb. "Yes!" She looked for a good place to land and swung in her sister's grasp before somersaulting into the air and landing on a wiggly-looking branch. Her landing let several leaves free of their restraints and they fluttered to the ground.
Down below, Wight watched the elder sisters' antics until the leaves fell around them. He smiled to Hikaru and booped her with his nose.
Yang yowled at her brother for pawing her nose. Then she did it back with a giggle. Then she snuggled up and head-butted under his chin, gently.

"Be careful!!! You don't want to fall do ya???" She fluttered to a more sturdy branch and sat. "Why are putting yourself in danger, and I don't want you falling ok. That one time before when you fell and almost broke your arm, remember that?"
"When these two grow, we should have more! This love between us cannot be broken" she snuggled into him more. "Wouldn't that be fun?" She smiled.
Yin started to clean the top of his sister's head, then stopped and cuddled her more. She completed him. They would always be close, no matter what. He started to purr again just as happy as a pig in crap.

"No, I don't want to fall. I want to climb!" Moon laughed and ran along the branch toward the trunk and started climbing upward. She wanted to see the sky.
"Oh... Be careful Moonrose!" Wight didn't want to watch but his daughter was being a little rebel. He could not blame her, really. She was the only one of her littermates that had been born without wings. He knew it was his genes that determined that, and he felt almost sheepish about it, even if there was nothing wrong. He sighed and shook his head, then smiled at Hikaru. "You want more of these ruffians running around?" he laughed. He looked up at the two girls and then down at the tiny kittens with a fond smile. "I agree. Every child makes us stronger."
Yang licked Yin's chin. When he began to purr it was like she had remembered how to do it as well, and began to purr too.

"No sister!!! The top won't hold your weight!!! You are going to fall!!!" Asuka yelled from the branch then flew up ready to catch her. Her sisters always been foolish like this, how could anyone even stop her, she was desperately watching. Then she heard a branch snap and got really scared, she flew up beside her sister just in case, thats the only thing she could do for her little bugger sister.
Yes, I want lots of babies, we are truly blessed with our family. I'm so happy I found you. You are my soul mate and we will have tons babies!!! ❤ she smiled and pet his face, "would you be interested in a kiss? It's been a couple hors and I miss your touch. " She smiled then looked up to see a large branch falling towards them!!! She grabbed rose then flew to the basket and zoomed as fast as she could away from the danger. She was lucky they were close cuz if either of them were any distance away, she'd have lost one of them.
Yin smiled at her mom, she was a great mom. And his dad was a great dad. He didn't understand these falling things but he felt very protected. He coed at the rocking and jolting, it felt great. He curled his tails around his sister so he'd know she was warm. He didn't know what warm was, but he felt it was the right thing then hugged his sister as they both purred.
When the branch landed there wS dirt flying everywhere, but she could tell the tree branch had been rotting. She was just grateful she could save them both. "Did one of you cause this branch to fall??" She yelled up to the sisters.
Asuka didn't know but didn't want her sister in trouble, it most likely fell on its own, cuz she heard the Crack and it didn't seem to come from anywhere her sister jumped., just in case though. "Yea mom, it was me on an accident, is everyone OK??????" She zoomed picking her sister up and flew them both down to the ground, she was tired of watching her sister take chances that were fun she had to admit, but still dangerous.

"Oh honestly!" Moonrose scoffed. "Will you please calm down." Calmly Moon walked down along the branch, bouncing as she went. She heard a branch snap but it was not the one she was on. Nevertheless, she clung to the branch with every last claw until she reached the trunk, and held on.
Wightrose chuckled. Hikaru was getting excited for new babies, yet Yin and Yang were still tiny kittens. "One litter at a time. Let's wait until the twins are a little older. She pet his face and he rubbed his cheek against the paw. He licked her nose, thereby kissing her there. She really was affectionate and it was one of those many things he loved about her. When the branch fell, he held tightly onto the basket with the twins and let Hikaru get them out of harm's way. "Is everyone all right?" he bellowed so that the sisters overhead would hear him properly.
Yang felt the force of her adopted mother's movements. It pushed her into the basket, hard. She was not concerned as she watched the branch falling toward them... and then past them. "Oooh," she cooed in amazement.
Wight examined the branch after it had fallen. It was rotten. The whole tree could be rotten inside! "My daughters, please come down from there. That tree is not safe to climb!"
Moonrose allowed Asuka to fly them down to the ground. "It was not Asuka's fault," she said once they were safe. She studied the branch too, and discovered the degree of rot. It was amazing they had not smelled the decay. But now that they were on the ground she had to admit the smell was a bit pungent. "It's my fault." Moonrose was distraught. "I wanted to play around but I was reckless."
"I know," Wightrose said. "it was Asuka. But it was not Moon, either. As you can see, the tree is likely rotten through and through. It was only a matter of time before it fell. I'm just glad everyone is all right." Wight waved a paw at his daughters. "Be more careful."

Oh my darlings, please use your noses more because this whole tree could come down. Let's go over there? Away from this tree, don't want any of my babies you included rose, to get hurt. I can't protect you all, and neither can your father. He's strong and special but not a super hero. Neither am I. But I love you all. It was a close call, but we got out fine. I'm not trying to be mean to either of you, but using your nose is very important. That's how so many ppl find things out. All I am is glad no one was hurt, that's the big thing here.
Asuka looked at her sister then at the ground. It was my fault tho, I brought her close to the tree, I should have smelled the rot. I know better now, I will always use my nose!!! I will make you and dad proud! And moon is usually very safe, I think she's just excited that we are back together as a family, and these two kittens, they are so cute, and they are Godlings!!! I have no idea how both of you found them separately. That's just amazing. It's almost as if the gods picked you both. I love them so much. She pet yang then tickled yin to see them play.
Yin tried to laugh but all that came out was a lil your of happiness, he started to clean yang again, he had to, she was his twin and he knew they would be best friends for life hopefully. Yin started to clean out her spotless ear, gently, cuz he could barely move. He put his paw on her face to keep her from moving. He cuddled closer then continued to more.

Yang squirmed a little as her brother started to clean her ear. She didn't like how it tickled, and she mewled in protest. But under his paw she did not move.
Wightrose nodded alongside Hikaru. She was right. Sometimes even adults make mistakes, especially the young ones. They were so lucky that their daughters were so reasonable and would learn from their mistakes. He was proud of them, even as his shock and distress still raced in his veins.
Moonrose had the good sense to feel chagrined at her mother's caution. Of course they had missed the smell. This tree was ready to fall to the ground. She should have known. More than that she should have listened to her sister's warnings about behaving too unsafely. "It won't happen again," she said.

yin could tell his sister was not liking the licking,but this was for her own good, he mewed at her then stopped, he was so tired, he layed his head on yang and fell asleep, purring still.
"Its ok sweet hearts, i know you are still learning, just always follow your senses and you will be fine. it took me awhile to learn it, but you two are fast learners, you get that from your father." she laughed and wrapped her tails around rose.
"I promise mom! we will use all our senses, even taste if we have to!!!!" she poked her sister because she wanted to bug her, it had been so long since she had seen her.

Yang took Yin's moments of weakness and used that opportunity to clean him up. This was also for his own good, not just "revenge." She started with one ear and worked across his face and tried to reach the other ear. She was not successful. She was also exhausted and curled up around him and fell asleep.
"Yes, Mama." Moonrose bobbed her head then licked her sister's cheek, no hard feelings. Then she snatched up the basket with no kittens in it and bounded off down the trail. On just the other side of the trees was the meadow they had been wanting to visit.
Wightrose moved aside as Moonrose rushed past. It put him up against Hikaru and he nuzzled her as he watched his daughter. It was like Moon had learned nothing. But then, something about her movements was more careful, he realized to his relief. She was trying, at any rate. He stretched over to the basket with the kittens watching them fondly. "Shall we go?" he asked. Then he picked up the basket and waited for Hikaru before starting off down the trail.

Yin opened his eyes, and wiggled around to get back into control, but there was nothing he could do, he was stuck being cleaned. he mewed at his sister an needed his sisters belly with his paws. it felt good to be cleaned he thought, so he relaxed continuing with his paws, This was not just his sister, but his best friend, and they were going to be together foreer.
ASuka ran after her sister and caught up with her then started flying and flew backwards making faces at her sister, trying to make her laugh.
"Yes lets go my love, " She snuggled into him and then started walking with the babies in the basket, she felt so tired, she didnt know why, probably the sleepless nights of being a parent. She loved Rose so much, he completed her.
