Boxing -- Wanting a way to be able to vent frustrations as well as learn to defend herself without taking martial arts classes, Abbi's been learning to box since middle school. She looked into it as a recommendation from her best friend and hasn't really looked back. She loves the feeling of hitting the punching back, the hit of glove against the leather, the burn of her muscles after a particularly therapeutic bought.
She's hesitant to go against other people but she can be found sparring against her best friend and can hold her own pretty well. Maybe one day she'll try going against others but for now she'll keep to what she's been doing. And hopefully she'll never have to use it as self defense.
Gymnastics -- Can it still be called gymnastics if you learned it yourself? As carefully, and safely, as she could, Abbi's been teaching herself what she could physically handle as far as gymnastics went. From watching youtube videos to reading books, to even studying Olympic Gymnasts, she's studied all she could to teach herself. It's been slow going, and she hasn't learned all that she's wanted, but she's getting there for sure.
Cooking -- They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and really what better gift to give friends then food? Be it baked goods or a homemade meal, Abbi's been learning to cook since she was old enough to use the stove without worry about forgetting to turn it off. She's always loved to surprise her dad with breakfast in bed on his days off and she even went so far as to learn her childhood best friend's mom's recipe for Miguelitos!
She loves learning new recipes to gift the people close to her in her life, more so the reaction she gets from the recipient. The quickest way to know she cares about you is to receive a handmade gift of your favourite food.
Pros:
I Had to have high, high hopes for a living.Optimistic -- They say the night is darkest before the dawn but that won't stop Abbi from waiting for the dawn. Things may look rough now but they always seem to get worse before they get better but there will always be hope.
A missed assignment turn in can result in a missed grade but there's always the hope of an extension and a lowered grade; on top of the lesson to make sure she's paying attention to when something is due. Getting caught in the rain sucks but it's not the end of the world, and she probably needed a shower anyway! There's always a silver lining to be found or a lesson to take away from things that have gone wrong so she might as well take the positive instead of focusing on the negative.
That's just the way it is.Accepting -- Abbi is a very accepting person, both in people and ideas. She's never one to turn down critique or suggestions, in fact she quite enjoys getting them even if she may not use what was given to her. How else is she going to grow or expand her views on the world? Or even come up with the best ways to run her eventual non-profit? Always wanting to be the best version of herself, she'd rather be told what she may be doing, saying or thinking wrong and learn the best way to correct those problems.
She's also accepting of the differences in people in the world, be it gender identity, sexuality or other. Some people won't change and she has to accept that too. She can't make them change and that's okay, she doesn't have to like it; just accept that that's how it is. There are few things she can't accept but even the most accepting of person has their limits in the end. Murder in any capacity that isn't self defense, racists, and the harming of children are the top of that list.
I made this for you~Giving -- Abbi has a lot of love in her heart for people, especially people she knows. The best way she knows to show that love is to give. Give her time, her knowledge, her help, her presence, and gifts. Most everything can be harder to give depending on what she has going on at any given time but she does her best to do what's needed. She has, on more then one occasion, skipped class or been late in order to give her time to the people who needed her. She's stayed up late more then a dozen times just to be a comforting presence to a friend in grief.
She'd happily give the shirt off of her back to someone if she could, but there are some laws that make that a bit difficult. She will happily give money to someone who needs it, often without the need for repayment.
More often then not, however, when everything else is harder to manage Abbi is known to give gifts of food. Usually home made, in the form of a family recipe if she can get her hands on it. She loves to cook and bake for others and usually has some sort of food on her person ready to be gifted even to a stranger if needed. She just... really likes giving gifts to people.

I'm not a Taurus for nothing.Stubborn-- Funnily enough, despite everything else about her, once Abbi has made her mind up about something it can't really be changed. She wants to give that poor homeless person some money? She's going to do it, you can't stop her. She wants to pay for your meal/clothing/whatever it is you need? There's no talking her out of it so you might as well let her spend the money on you.
She's also stubborn enough to let you know exactly what she thinks of you if you upset her, even at the risk of getting into a fight. She won't back down, you will put up with her and if you don't wish to you better walk away because if you mess with this bull you're likely to get the horns.
What can I do for you?People Pleaser -- Abbi wants nothing more then to make people happy, a trait that should be positive but is taken a bit to the extreme. Afraid of losing people close to her, no doubt due in part to the loss of her mother at a young age, Abbi will do just about anything to make people like her. You need some one to run all your stupid errands for you? She's already on it. Do you need some to break up with someone for you? Are you mad and need some one to take your anger out on? She's happy to do any of it as long as she knows you won't leave her.
Fool me once, shame on you.Second Chances/Trusting -- Actually it's less then second chances and more like third, fourth, or even eighth chances? She just has a bad problem with being too trusting when it comes to people's word. She'd happily hire someone who'd been in jail, even for theft, if they promised they were past those days. She wants to believe they'd not lie and then turn around and steal from her; might even be willing to give them another chance or two before having to face the fact that her optimism is only going to go so far with one person.
However she probably wouldn't even learn from that mistake and try again, optimistic that it could only happen so many times before someone would stop taking advantage of her kindness. Surely didn't stop some people she wanted badly to be friends with once upon time, only saved because her best friend stepped in to stop things before they could get worse.

Abbi's full Greek, the only tie she has left to her mother and birth father (though she could care less about that tie). Abbi's mother died when she was six, to an illness. She was left in the care of her mother's fiance at the time who eventually was able to adopt her. Especially as her birth father wanted nothing to do with her. Abbi's birth father was abusive towards her mother, which is what lead her to taking Abbi with her and running away. Eventually she filed for divorce and had plans to re-marry eventually, to a man named Maddox Rees. She died before they could get married. After finding out the truth of her mother's leaving of her birth father and divorce, once Maddox deemed her old enough anyway, Abbi decided her life's work would be to create a non-profit to help people in abusive relationships. Scent/Perfume: Heady blossoms of jasmine, white gardenia, and magnolia sharpened by neroli, given a voluptuous depth by red patchouli, oakmoss, and cedar Her dad works as a nurse at Mayet Memorial Hospital. Her schooling is being paid for by a bank account that had been set up by her mother before her death. While she had been thinking of picking up a part time job while attending school, her father wanted her to focus more on her studies. She lives at home with her dad still.
General Appearance
Abbi keeps her hair dyed pink, though often likes to keep it with a slightly grown out look as she likes the hint of brown peeking out at the top. A decent length she likes to pull it back into messy sort of buns (both style and color) as of late.
Wide and expressive, Abbi's eyes are the color of rose gold ☗ (#e7b2a4), with thick natural lashes. A heart shaped face is home to a straight nose and full, round lips. Her skin color is tan with an olive undertone to it.
Standing at 5'2", she has an hour glass figure and a fit form. Despite this her "assets" are definitely on the bigger side.
Clothing wise, her style varies depending on what she's doing/where she's going and how she's feeling. It's not unusual to see her in more of a sporty fashion one day, then boho chic the next. More often then not she can be found in the more "girl next door" like style, especially on school days.
Accessory wise she tends to wear two golden hoops in each ear, and a gold chain with a sea otter pendant on it.

Only a small bit of feedback on Abigaia!
Given the nature of universal basic income being a central point of the States, and the overall improved world-state it's assumed that the vast majority of those in the sex industry are there because they want to be there, not because they view it as their only source of income/their only choice. That mentality would have shifted largely after the early 90's -- so a non-profit to aide those in abusive relationships would likely be the better thing to focus on!
We'd get into a bit more about the ins and outs of legalities and how far the industry has changed if our setting wasn't PG-13 to follow Gaia's restrictions, but it's safe to assume that there has largely been reform all around!
