Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CADT (Cadet) Reikka had plenty of questions for their new team member, Valleria. Not only did they just meet only a couple weeks ago, but something of interest crossed her notice when she revealed a Sapphire ring on her finger when she emerged from the bathroom during one weekend morning. She had been lining up to wait for her turn, and Val had been a firm and albeit strict presence in their team. Someone who would push them in the right direction at times, but wasn't afraid to go into things head-first and get things done herself. For this, Reikka was pleased and rather a bit relieved; Val didn't seem like the type to become a burden to any of them. She was strong, too. She seemed like she had plenty of experience under her belt despite just laying eyes on her only a short amount of time ago. But they never got the chance to talk... she supposed now was the time to confront her about her stance in the team and why she had that goddamn ring with the jewel that looked exactly like the one embezzled inside her grandmother's pocket watch. She left her a message on her scroll to meet here in a courtyard close to the woods, near the spot where she and Nox found their way through the dense forests to find her secret clearing. The old bench was there like it had been since she first discovered the spot when she first explored the campus during her newbie-er days. Yet she ignored it and continued walking eastward to a slight different setting. But just to make sure she got the message she grabbed Val's shoulder firmly after dinner the night before to get her attention and reminded her to check her scroll. Val looked up at her mildly surprised. Afterall, the two girls had been getting along just fine since they first met, but there was something about Valleria to suggest she intended to remain distant and business-like with the rest of them till who knew how long. But they never really had a reason to be close or upfront about any serious matters, until now that is.
Now she was out here, waiting for someone who may not even come. Val had alot of reasons to keep to herself, so she may not even show up at all. As she waited, she looked at the sky above; blue upon blue collided as she focused to view the clouds which passed by in a drifty silence, and could feel as summer was about to fade into another autumn season. She had been here in Beacon for roughly a while now, and alot has changed since then. Losing teammates, gaining new ones, and making sure they didn't die on each other at the most crucial times. Ah, yes. Good times, good times. But, they had a long way to go before this was all over. Graduation for each student was often individualized, so no big ceremonies here until they had to part ways. But would she stay true to them even after all of these trifling things were over and done with? She sincerely hoped so deep down. They might have just been another team till now, but she would be sure to keep in contact with them even after plenty of time has passed and they all, hopefully, will become legible hunters and huntresses. But she was getting ahead of herself. She recalled the Atlas mission that was to take place only about a month from now, so they were about to risk their own safeties again for another strange but worthy cause. She had no idea what would transpire again around this time. So who knows what tomorrow might bring for them? Certainly they were all fighting for a brighter future filled with danger and glory? But the losses they've already suffered.... it made her think of whether or not if all this was going to be truly worth it in the end. Shadows passed as she waited, the clouds were becoming thick and heavy, possibly rain would come in a couple hours. If Val didn't appear by the time water pelted her from the sky, she would be gone and wouldn't mention the message to her unless she asked about it.

Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CADT (Cadet) As soon as Reikka spotted Valleria's figure emerging at the courtyard she was keeping herself idle at, her eyes widened a bit, unable to believe that she actually came. The girl had been cooperative with them, but she never thought she would summon the curiosity to come and speak to her about something that had been catching her attention for quite some time. She didn't seem the type to allow her curiosity to get the better of her, yet here she was. "Ah... Valleria. You're actually here." She said as her eyes adjusted to the shifting light, as the sun began to move from East to West in the most hazy fashion. As soon as she was within eyesight, Reikka stepped forward and took out something she was wearing around her neck, which she hid beneath her white hoodie. She revealed her grandmother's pocket-watch and the faded chain that she wore with it. Without much further drama or hesitation, she opened it and showed her the blue sapphire jewel encrusted on the inside of the ticking instrument. "Val, do you remember anything about your past at all?" She began with a question, her voice seemed to linger in the air as her words came out calm, steady and even, "This pocket watch was given to me by my grandmother, who happened to inherit the family fortune of De La Ceruleans." She tipped the jewel very close to her eyes to make sure she got a good look, the sunlight bouncing off the jewel made it seem like it glowed with a blue hue, which it did from the reflecting light streaming down from the trees above. Then she pointed to the ring on her finger silently, as if it was the very first time she looked at it properly.
When she spoke, her eyes were droopy from the hazy afternoon air. "Your ring looks around the same age as the jewel on my watch, which means it might have come from the same sapphire specimen." She took a deep breath again, ready to tell her what she means by it all, "My clan is a dying one, and me and my parents are the only ones left. This pocket watch was from my mother's side, and through her I inherited the blood of a people whom have been lost to time." Then she looked her in the eyes, her face a bit clouded by an emotion even she did not fully understand. "You look alot like those from my clan. Though how this could be, I do not know, nor do I have any evidence for it." She took out her weapon while keeping it sheathed. She closed her eyes and focused her energy on the staff as she held it prominently infront of her, then a thin glow began to circulate around it. "This weapon was given to me by a professor at my old school who studied ancient weapons. I showed it to my parents and they gave me hints that it might have been one of the weapons stolen by others long ago which was originally by The Shifters." Then she broke her concentration and stood there firmly infront of Val, her legs slightly apart in a military-like stance. She looked at the ground, seeming almost sad about speaking about the sad fate of her people's, "I was wondering if you can enlighten me with your own history, as I know very little of you. And I am hoping I can settle these feelings of uncertainty which have been gnawing at the back of my mind."
