"Oh you're not bothering me, child." Aren replied dismissively, but not unkindly so. "Although it seems it might be a good idea to keep an eye on things for a bit. Despite what we'd prefer, not everyone get's along well all the time." At which his gaze turned to the boy in red again, the cause for her ire.
Oh, he'd heard about that one. Empyrean, the kid who was hiding in the labs all the time - a sentiment he could understand, to a point - and had to be all but forcefully dragged out to socialize. Not much unlike Slven.
He didn't seem to have any ill intentions though, just didn't know how to act around other kids.
"You look like you did a good job with this project so far ... Amy, right?" She seemed like a smart kid. And a polite one. He might actually have some fun hanging around these kids for a while. Aren had always been a hands-on leader, and he had no intention of changing that, lording over his people from a distance like the human kings that had created them had tended to do. Sure, his word was law and he expected no less, but he saw no need to micro-manage whatever the children were up to and command them around when there was no reason to.
"And please, there's no need for sirs and whatnot when it's not official business. Just Aren will do."
He looked over the kids present, most of them he'd seen by the lake a while ago, apart from the blonde boy. Right, the newest one. Bard, if he remembered correctly. His lips curved into a grin and he cracked his knuckles. "Suffice to say, I've never tilled a fied before. Looks like fun."
Oh, he had all intention to actually help while supervising them, not just sit around and watch.

Luna hummed to herself as she tilled up the planting bed she was working on, she still need a reference book on what she could grow and how she would figure out the watering part of it, she wasn't savvy in the science that was required to water the beds but she knew that both her and amy needed a way to water them or do proper irrigation, so they plants didn't die. She finished up tilling the planting she was working on before deciding to move onto the next planting bed that Amy had marked up.

 At least things had settled down. He was glad for that. The boy in red and the genome girl didn't seem to get along, and that was sad. But there was an adult, so that was good. The girl then began explaining what they were going to do. "It sounds like a lot of work." He said with a smile. He didn't sound unhappy about that. In fact, his lyrical voice seemed happy about the prospect. He hadn't done anything like this before, but the idea of playing in the first was a fun one. "How can I help?" He moved closer, now that no one was yelling, and looked at the tools. "Tilling does seem fun, doesn't it?" Bard looked up at Aren and smiled at him. "Aren." He felt like he should know that name. Like Mother had tried to teach him something before awakening. He grabbed a hoe and looked at it. "I'm Bard, by the way." He said to the girl with a sleepy smile. "Where should I start?"

Amy smiled brightly at the praise for the work she had done so far. It was nice that an adult who knew more than she did thought that it looked good, which hopefully meant she was doing this right. For now she chose to not acknowledge the friction she had with Empyrean, focusing on helping everyone figure out what they could do.
Aren.....Aren?! As in the Supreme Leader?? This was Aren?? Amy's eyes widened a little when he introduced himself and she had that moment of recognition, about to profusely apologize if she seemed disrespectful...but...he seemed so casual. In fact, he was gearing up to help! It took her a second to swallow down her nerves before she smiled again to both Aren and the boy named Bard. "Y-yeah, Amy's fine. My full name is Amaryllis but I don't mind being called Amy. It's great to meet you both!" Okay, now as long as she could avoid any further social snafus then she'd be good.
When Bard grabbed the hoe and asked where he should start, she looked around and pointed to the space where Luna had turned the soil over. "Right over there. Take the hoe and use it to break up the dirt clods, then spread it out loosely but evenly. Try not to step on it or accidentally pack it down, if you can, but if you do then use use the hoe to fix the spot." She looked up at Aren then. "If you can help turn the soil over and make sure there aren't any big rocks or roots in the way, that would be great, please."
Back in focus on the task at hand. Delegating between everyone here to help was....different...but she felt she was getting the hang of it. She set the spear down that she'd used to mark everything and went to grab a box she'd found to collect any of the rocks, roots or weed-like plants, making sure to point it out to the others. Amy soon grabbed another hoe to help break up the turned-over dirt. "Oh and if anyone gets thirsty, let me know and I can go get water for us."

Dash took up a hoe and some other tools and started on a row beyond Luna and Bard. He smiled uncertainly at them before getting to work. He started from one end and worked backwards, so his steps could be softened as he worked.
