400 Years Ago there as a Namekian chosen by the Kais to be the guardian of Earth. He was taken to Earth. Not long after his arrival he split himself in half; creating two 'new' Namekians instead. The Dragon Clan one retained the memories and powers of the Sage before him. He went on to form the Earth's Dragonballs. Together the Warrior and the new Sage went on to help Earth recover from it's own miss deeds - Global Warming and pollution. This allowed the humans to have an era of peace and prosperity once more.
300 years ago the Saiyan population could not be sustained on their own planet. They received mysterious help from a Kai to transport themselves onto their twin planet - Plant. It was inhabited by the Tuffle race. While they were physically weaker than the Primal Saiyans, the Tuffles were much more technologically advanced. They created a weapon that they thought would wipe out the Saiyans by unraveling their DNA. In the short term it seemed to work as the saiyans did weaken in battle...unfortunately for them, they still lost in the end and were presumed to be wiped out. The planet was renamed in honor of the warrior that led them to victory - Vegeta.
It wasn't until 20 years after that war that it was discovered that they were weaker because it changed something inside of them. The next generation's offspring stopped going into rages in battle. They were able to think more clearly and plan out strategies. They also demonstrated the ability to get stronger if they survived an otherwise deadly battle. This ability and intelligence separated them from the original saiyans. With their new found abilities and capability of space travel, once Saiyans ran out of resources they started to venture out towards other inhabited planets in their area. They brought back food and slaves from these plants to their home world of Saiya and their name planet Vegeta.
100 years ago news of their prowess reached the ears of the Cold Empire. King Cold went to planet Vegeta to speak with the King of the Saiyans at the time. They were forced to submit under King Cold. For the fact that they dared not submit instantly, however, King Cold blew up their original home world (Saiya) along with the majority of the population from there. Once they were disciplined and folded into their empire's hierarchy, the Saiyans gained access to a lot of new technology which helped them to rebuild their world. They also had access to faster modes of transportation now and artificial wombs to cut out the internal power struggles.
𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
25 years ago the newest King Vegeta had grown tired of serving under the Cold Empire. He also noticed a decline in birth power levels as all saiyans had stopped reproducing in the natural fashion. He founded a program to return to the old times where saiyans were independent once more. First though, he knew that they had to get out from under the thumb of King Cold. He found a fertile world far away from the Empire that was perfect for the saiyan race - Earth. Though he was smart enough to know that they could not just migrate to the new planet as that would draw too much attention. They needed to set into motion a plan to defeat Cold and his race for good. To do this he started a breeding program to produce naturally strong saiyans without drawing the attention of the Empire. It took a few tries over the course of five years until results were seen. Each child that was deemed a success in this program was born with a power level that exceeding some of their adult elite warriors. His son was among them. Over the course of 5 years, he sent the Chosen Children out to Earth...intending to send stronger Elites to whip them into shape when they matured. There was one child born during this time that had a power level which threatened to draw attention and ruin his plan; that one was exiled far away from the other children for their safety as it was still a waste to kill something born that strong.
15 years ago when the 6th Saiyan had been shipped off to Earth there was unfortunately a leak about Vegeta's plans. Word got back to the Cold Empire that King Vegeta might not be loyal to the Empire anymore; Freeza was not pleased. As Frieza headed to planet Vegeta, a Saiyan warrior strong enough to take on Freeza's own men started back to the planet as well; afraid of what would happen to his people. This warrior's name was Bardock and he too sent off one of his sons to the planet King Vegeta found. Shortly after the son of Bardock was sent to Earth, Freeza demanded that King Vegeta hand over his own first born as tribute. Reluctantly (as his second son was off world and fate unknown), King Vegeta turned Prince Vegeta over along with his own retinue of Elites. When Freeza left the planet's atmosphere he sent a blast to destroy the Saiyan's planet and the majority of their population. He has since then spread the lie that the planet was destroyed in a meteor storm as a way to point out how weak their population was.
𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙉𝙤𝙬
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀In the last 20 years, Earth has unknowingly been host to a squadron of Saiyan children scattered around the globe. With no real direction, each child lived different lives. Some took a scenic route through the universe while others lived thinking they were humans the whole time.
5 years ago a brilliant young teenager named Bulma Briefs started on the search for the legendary Dragonballs.
Around this time a corporation known as Red Ribbon started to extend it's medical advancements around the world. They wanted to help people get stronger and endure harsher conditions; they worked on bioengineering, technology, disease eradication, and safe chemical enhancements. Only some of their supposed humanitarian projects had a tendency to go horribly wrong. These accidents only ended up giving them more global power and influence as they started on a good fear propaganda campaign.
It wasn't until Last Year that they really started mobilizing military might against those that refused their 'help. They had a goal to make the human race stronger...rather they wanted to be or not...and they wouldn't be stopped.

I just want to remind you that you don't want to purposefully isolate your character and thus yourself. This is a roleplay. Our goal is to write together. Characters that would not work with another person, seek people out, or be recruited tend to be the ones isolated. Just keep that thought in mind while you make your character.

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀These are hearty, well intended people from the planet Namek. Namekians have a unique ability to reproduce asexually. They are able to produce offspring that hatch from an egg sack which they can produce and regurgitate by themselves. Or they can produce offspring that have varying levels of differences. Offspring hatch from their egg at a size and maturity that means they can fend for themselves, as long as they are careful.
Most Namekians range from mid green to dark green with yellow or pink oblong patches but there is an albino breed that lacks a lot of pigmentation, including the secondary colorings. They lack hair or fur of any kind over the entirety of their body. They do, however, have two antennae at the top of their smooth heads which seem capable of picking up on a lof of stimuli other races miss. All Namekians are formed so that their body is more apt for movement and muscular growth similar to that of other race's 'Males'.
The race itself is split into two different clans - Dragon Clan and Warrior Clan. The Dragon Clan are taught the secret arts of how to create mystical dragon balls, heal, and other peaceful things like that. The Warrior Clan learn to use their Energy to defend their planet from anyone who seeks to harm it. Both clans produce Namekian's that have untold regenerative healing abilities. All Namekians do not need to eat solid foods to maintain their bodies or energy; they need water and sunlight.
400 Years ago, 1 Namekian was selected to be the guardian of a special planet called Earth in the backwater Sol system. After splitting himself in half to create a Warrior Namekian and Dragon Namekian, the Dragon Namekian forged the Dragonballs that became famous on Earth. Over the years, the Namekian produced a multitude of children. The Namekians sprouted from him live peacefully at the base of the Lookout tower. At the last count there are around 400 Namekians on Earth that all sprouted from him as he serves as the Guardian of the Earth.
𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀Humans are the most popular species on the planet Earth as it is their birth planet. Humans have two different sexes; both sexes are required to produce offspring the natural way. Female humans are fertile for the majority of their menstrual cycle and offspring can be produced 40 weeks after conception. However, as their technology has increased, they've been able to produce offspring in a more artificial way as well. In fact, their genetic make up seems compatible with many non-human species from around the galaxy while still creating viable offspring. Offspring are often unable to fend for themselves up to a couple years after their birth.
Most human skin tones range in colors that have tones of yellow, pink, and brown. They have a variety of hair colors; more now naturally appearing than even 400 years ago due to genetic experimentation. The race may seem among the weakest when compared to others but that's not always the case. Humans have great imagination which leads to innovations. For how young they are as a species, they have advanced in technology at an astounding rate. In fact, they even prevented the doom of their own planet through climate change around 400 years ago.
Now they can focus on other peaceful advances in technology. There are also outstanding humans that study martial arts and energy manipulation. Those that study martial arts usually coalesce under just a couple different teachers that they call Master.
𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙙𝙨
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀While not unique to the planet Earth, the Androids from Earth seem to be the most functional and aesthetically pleasing. Due to Earth's dichotomy of the sexes they are modeled after Earth Females or Males. Some that have been classified as Androids aren't even truly that. In fact, the most powerful 'Androids' are really cybernetically enhanced humans that the Supreme Dictator decided to call 'Androids' regardless. As such there are two sub classes of Androids.
True Androids are made out of space age polymers that, once cooled, can not be reshaped. They are programmed and have never been human before, though they may mimic them. They are unable to reproduce. They are however immune to diseases, aging, mental manipulation techniques, fatigue, and human urges. This includes, but is not limited to, the necessity of eating. Unfortunately if they are damaged, they would need assistance to make repairs to their body and possibly their programming.
Hybrid Androids are remade using a human host, cybernetic modifications, and nanite technology. While they have been reprogrammed to serve their maker's desired goals, they were human once upon a time. The ones that used to be female are able to reproduce but their children will not be an 'android'; gestation will take 40 weeks after conception. Offspring will be unable to care for itself after birth for a couple of years. Male androids are unable to produce offspring. Both Male and Females of this category are immune to diseases, aging, fatigue, and some human urges such as hunger. Unfortunately if they are damaged they may require assistance to make repairs.
Both True and Hybrid Androids do not need to breathe so they are capable of existing in outer space as well as in multiple environments. Androids have a special energy core that can not be sensed by those who have the skills to sense Energy. The reverse is also true in the sense that they are unable to sense others' Energy.
𝙎𝙖𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙨
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀Saiyans, are considered a little simple or brutish by a majority of the universe. Like humans they take on a dichotomy of the sexes for the purpose of reproduction - Males and Females. Females have an estrous cycle that is maintained and triggered by Blutz waves produced by a lunar cycle; they are only fertile during their short period of Heat while male saiyans are capable of reproducing at any point. After 40 weeks of gestation, offspring are barely self-sufficient but are capable of destructive powers in the right circumstances. This is an example of how compared to some races, Saiyan bodies are considered hearty. However, after a war with the Tuffles over their planet, there are now two classes of Saiyans.
Primal Saiyans, those who were unaffected by the Tuffle's tactics, can tap into their inner Oozaru strength during the middle of battle. This gives them a power boost as they are fighting. It reduces cognition in equal measure. These saiyans lack the special racial trait that those who battled the Tuffles now carry. Modern Saiyans, those who were affected by the Tuffles, can not tap into their inner Oozaru strength during the middle of the battle. However, if they take damage to the point that they were near expiration and recover, they do gain a permanent power boost up called a Zenkai.
Other than that difference, both lines of Saiyans share everything else in common genetically and phenotypically. They are comparable to Earth's humans in appearance. However there are notable differences. The most noticeable is that they have a fully prehensile tail from the base of their spine. This tail contains nerve clusters and glands that, when combined with a visual trigger, intake of sufficient Blutz waves to initiate a transformation into a giant primate form. This form, known as Oozaru, gives the Saiyans ten times the power of their original form for the duration of their transformation. This form is thought to be their original shape but over the eons of selective breading and training, they reduced their form into what it is now( other than those special transformative times). This humanoid form tends to look homogenous compared to the variety of colors found in other humanoid species. They generally have black hair, but deep shades of brown are possible, which they are born with and does not change shape or style from birth. Except for on their tails and from the chin up, they lack bodily hair everywhere else. Their irises range in shades of gray with Black being the most prominent.
