It's a family heirloom that was handed down to Tashunka around age of 10 for his birthday. It used to belong to his father but unfortunately, he didn't make it out of the fall. The sword material is made out of steel while the guards and the rest of the blade is made out of bone material leftover from hunted animals and reinforced with a metallic mixture to give it a shiny finish. Due to its size it usually is carried by having it resting against the shoulder with the blade harmlessly in the air.
