xxxxx※ Efialtis's personality is a strange sort of mix, taking its roots mainly from his own life and parts of his dark past. Overall, he seems to be a mostly stand-up sort of guy, but there's often bits of him which come forth that he doesn't like to be seen.
To start off, he's an incredibly friendly fellow. Whether you be friend or foe, unless you've wronged him somehow, he'll still treat you like his best friend. This is often an issue for him, as he comes off as too nice and friendly in a battle against dangerous foes. The only time he drops his friendly factor is if someone is trying their absolute hardest to bring an end to him, or if one his friends or partners is hurt by them somehow. This causes him to flip a switch that leads to his unspeakable anger, which allows him to be able to "release his limiters" and take on his foes with real rage. He isn't someone that'll just let you push him aside as you hurt those dear to him, and will make your life an absolute hell if you wrong him. Otherwise, he'll be willing to buy you a drink in the bar, and greet you like an old friend from the past.
He doesn't really drink alcohol all that much, and when he does, it's usually in moderation, not letting himself get full-on drunk. But, when drunk, he's shown to be even goofier and happier than he usually is, not allowing himself to be brought down from this "high". He also seems to have an insatiable desire for sweets, and quickly falls in love with just about anyone that offers them to him. This again, has proven to be very dangerous, as he'll accept sweets from just about anyone. This hasn't led to anything too dangerous to him happening yet, but it's still a widely regarded possibility. Should he have drank heavily before or eaten too much candy prior, he won't accept challenges of any kind, or allow himself to be goaded into such things. He knows his judgement would be greatly impaired, and his thoughts heavily clouded, leading him to do possibly dangerous things.
When it comes to that four-letter word; "love", Efialtis seems to be a believer in it. Although he isn't the kind of person who goes around and casually flirts with other people, he has been shown to have an affectionate side to him. This can often be seen in how he treats his Pokemon with care, or even how he acts with other people. It's also important to note that he doesn't fear showing physical affection to others, be they male or female. Although he'll only shake hands with and hug other males, should he be close to them. With females, he'll hug, pick up (via bridal style) or even kiss them on the cheek should they allow it, among other things should consent be given. [[Section TBE]]
Efialtis strives to be a powerful Trainer, who many can look upon and depend on in times of need. His personality, at times, is often a reflection of this goal he has. He's the kind of person that does what he can to make sure that no one gets too injured because of something he did, or a choice he made. He seems to severely dislike those that pick on the weak and helpless, deciding to take matters into his own hand. He's usually calm and composed, but also has, as some have put it, a nasty habit of poking his nose where it does not belong, and can get into trouble because of this. He frequently becomes concerned about things that others have no interest in, a trait he does not outgrow even when told he cannot concern himself with other people's business. Despite all of this, he still cares for those he senses seem to be in trouble, always doing his best to help them get out of a bind. He also seems to care largely for children, no matter how old or young they may be.
His interests when it comes to music seem to have been heavily influenced by his group of friends back in Suimin. Especially one of the Frontier Brains he's great friends with back in the Region. He normally listens to things that fall under the category of "techno", but can often be seen listening to all other different kinds of music. To say he has a favorite kind would be exaggerated.
Given the nightmares he had been plagued with in his past, he's often seen as having little to no fear. He's done things such as take on Ursarings with his bare hands, or storm an entire enemy base single-handedly in his past. Despite this, even he has things that he fears. The worst thing he fears though, are the deaths of his loved ones. Should one of them be threatened without him having a way to save them, he'll do whatever he can or is asked in order to ensure their safety. The one thing he seems to fear above all else, though, is Darkrai itself. Given how much it altered his childhood from what it should've been, Efialtis has come to fear the Pokemon as a wrathful deity. A Pokemon that seems to have targeted him, in his own mind. Otherwise, except for a few various things, fear isn't a word that's often in Efialtis's vocabulary.
All in all, Efialtis is someone that'd be good to have on your side. As stated above, his ire is pretty easily avoided, but for those that have earned it, he's not a force to be taken lightly or casually. He'll be a friend to any whose paths he crosses, and possibly even take things further should he be given the chance. In the end, all he really wants is peace and happiness for himself, his father, his family and the rest of the world.

XXX｡｡｡BIOGRAPHY
xxxxx※ Efiáltis's birth was not that of a blessed child's. In fact, his birth was destined to be just about anything but problematic. His family line had a long history of having once great worshipping Darkrai. As such, it was mainly those of his kin that were usually possessed by the dangerous, angry Mythical Pokemon. Although what many didn't know, was that this was in fact all false. This was used mainly to get rid of those that were deemed "unworthy" of the bloodline, or just to get rid of those deemed a problem. Efiáltis was the "vessel" that was supposedly chosen by Darkrai, to be the scapegoat for the nightmares that had recently began spreading across the island. This caused all those that knew of this to shun him, except for his father. He lived a partially terrible life, which would've been much worse if not for his father taking care of him. For seven years, Efiáltis and his father lived like this, before the man took his son and ran off into the forest with him.
After making sure they weren't followed, Efi's father decided to travel through this forest with his child. Efiáltis suffered greatly from nightmares, with his father doing what he could to lessen their impact. The pair went days with little to no sleep, for fear of the Wild Pokemon that could attack, or any angry villagers that may be suffering even worse now that they were gone. But finally, they were met with what could be considered shelter. An old, decrepit, run-down manor, with vines and vegetation growing all over it, and the windows smashed out. As the pair walked inside, Efiáltis fell into a deep slumber, having finally given into the nightmares, hearing his father's voice faintly calling out to him. Although strangely enough he awoke with no issue, in a bed that was oddly comfortable. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness around him, he noticed many different kinds of Pokemon were surrounding him, his father also nearby. As they "spoke" among themselves, he could easily tell what they were saying... and they all seemed to be worried about him. After getting some food and other much needed nutrients in his body, he was able to explain what exactly had led him to this place. With the help of his father, he explained his entire life story of only seven years to a group of Pokemon he had just met. They could tell the boy wanted not vengeance, and that his father would also not allow such a thing. Coming to a unanimous agreement, they decided to let the pair live in the mansion with them, finding food for them as everyone began working together to fix the rundown mansion.
Shortly after beginning life with his new family, Efiáltis and his father continued to start working on rebuilding the mansion back to its former glory. His father found the right connections to buy the land and surrounding property for a rather cheap price, and get everything hooked up to make it easily livable in. While he was doing that, Efiáltis and all of the other Pokemon continued to work on the mansion itself, making sure that it was in good shape and getting rid of any trash and such that was left inside by passerby over the years. Soon, construction workers came in to take over, finishing its rebuilding and clearing out more of the surrounding trees so that the mansion itself wasn't at risk of being damaged, but leaving enough that the forest Pokemon would feel comfortable. It was also around this time that he also met a strange girl known as Afirium. No middle name, and no last name... just the single word name. She was dragged to the mansion by a bunch of different Pokemon, and seemed to be half-dead. Worrying for her safety, he had them take her inside, and had his father keep an eye on her while he cooked a meal for her. With her finally regaining full health, Efiáltis decided to take her on his upcoming travels with her. Little did he realize the events that this would soon set into motion, for he did not know of her secrets. And this is where his road to becoming a Champion began.
Having only Dusclops as his partner, Efiáltis was dealt a rather interesting hand. Originally he had decided against choosing a starter Pokemon, although his mind was changed by Dusclops, who egged him into getting Treecko, the Grass-Type Starter from the Johto Region. Maybe it was because its skin was an odd sheen, but the pair connected with this Pokemon rather quickly. As they journeyed forward, the trio overcame many trials, and made even more friends along the way. In the end, he conquered both his Island Trials to gather all the Stamps, and all of the Gym Challenges to gather all eight Gym Badges. It was then that he was ready to reach his ultimate goal; Champion's Respite.
He had never expected that the road to reach the Suimin Pokemon League would be as difficult as it was long. Maybe it was because he didn't approach the League immediately, as most challengers would. Instead, he was pulled from the beaten path by a voice in the back of his head, telling him instead to explore around the island all that he could before actually attempting to face the final challenge laid out before him. Following what it said, he came across his very first Legendary Pokemon... and it was a Darkrai. He figured this was just fate toying with him, but he decided to battle and capture it. After a long and arduous battle, he eventually captured the Pokemon, but this just made his nightmares even worse. This was a secret he kept from those around him, and was also when he started his Hot Cocoa binge-drinking. But these nightmares did nothing to prevent him from facing down his greatest challenges. First it was a rematch with all of the Island Captains in a row, to gain a Proof from each of them. After this, he was then set to face the Elite 4 in four battles in a row with no rest before facing down the Champion themselves. It was arguably the most difficult battle in his life, even harder to face than his nightmares. Broadcast across the entire Region of Suimin, Efiáltis was unsure how long the battle actually lasted. He remembers Mimikyu being his final Pokemon before finally taking down the Champion's last Pokemon. It was there and then, at the age of fourteen, that he became the Champion of the Suimin Region.
But being the Champion of the Suimin Region didn't mean that much to Efiáltis now. Sure, he was arguably one of the most powerful Trainers in the whole of the Region, but power and titles didn't mean that much to him. In the beginning, he did this in order to escape a torturous life. Along the way, he began battling to protect his friend Afi. To him, it was never about being the most powerful Trainer, but instead making sure that he and Afi could be happy. But now... he wasn't happy. Instead, he was forced to deal with new challengers every day, who proclaimed they only wanted to be the most powerful Trainer in the Region. Over the years, he defended his title as Champion, eventually coming to be believed as being "undefeatable". Soon enough, the number of challengers kept dropping day by day, with many believing they'd be unable to defeat him in a Pokemon Battle and become the next Champion. Due to this sudden drop, Efiáltis was eventually allowed to go out more and travel around, instead of being confined within the League all day. And this allowed him to come across new people and places that he never knew about before.
Due to having been incredibly busy, Efiáltis didn't hear about the Battle Frontier and other such facilities until much later in his reign as the Champion of the Suimin Region. The first thing he decided to face was the Battle Frontier, which introduced to him a league of trainers that were much more powerful than the Elite 4 were. Made him realize why only those who had defeated the Champion in battle were allowed access to this part of the island. It was a very grueling set of battles against each of the Frontier Brains, but he eventually managed to defeat them all, as his predecessor and those even before them had managed to do. But unlike them, he was offered to take the position of one of the older Frontier Brains, who was planning on retiring soon. This was how Efiáltis had come to be known as Stadium King Efiáltis, having redesigned the entire stadium to now be an arena within a stadium, much like the League in Galar. He also battled his way up the ranks in the Battle Chateau, reaching the Grand Duke rank that few before him had managed to reach. But it was the Battle Tower that drew him in the most, for despite battling all the way to the top, he faced defeat every time against the Battle Tower Boss. This person had eventually become much like a parent to him, something he never had before, and earned all of his respect. But it was around this time that he decided to explore the world, and visit the other Regions... a very special idea in his mind.
Efiáltis was searching for something that he felt was missing from his other battles in the Battle Frontier, Chateau and Tower, even if he didn't know what that thing was. But in his mind, a plan slowly began to form. A plan to gather the most powerful Trainers in other Regions and bring them all together for a large tournament. But it wouldn't be until after he gathered all these people that he would open the tournament up to everyone, allowing all Trainers to be able to partake in this challenge. Starting from Kanto, and going all the way to Galar, Efiáltis traveled for roughly four years (from the age of sixteen to the age of twenty) in order to find and speak to the most powerful trainers he could find, be they current Champions or old Champions. He told his plan only to few, doing his best to keep it top secret. After this, he took three years in order to start working on the arena that would eventually house this special tournament. While this was going on, he decided to travel the world again, in order to explore a bit more, in order to find some sort of amusement as he waited.
While messing about in a few Regions, he came across a few ruins, although one in Sinnoh captured his attention greatly. It had to do with Arceus, and the story behind the "creation of the world". Sneaking out one night, he felt a great sense of deja vu, and decided to leave before anything else happened. As he was leaving, a bright light seemed to shine behind him... before nothing. Shaking his head and thinking himself sleep-deprived, he headed back to where his bed was before getting back to sleep. Over time, many things happened, such as the the eventual takedowns of Team Awakening, Team Carbo and Team Umbra. Eventually taking a break for a well-deserved rest, he traveled around the world, finally managing to find some sort of peace around the Regions. When he eventually returned to Suimin to see his family again, he relaxed for another few years, working in the Suimin Region Battle Frontier.

During one of his weekly vacations, he was relaxing in his forest mansion, when a Delibird brought him a letter with a seal he'd never seen before on it. Checking it over to make sure it wasn't dangerous, he opened it, seeing that it was, in fact, an invitation to another Region. Although it wasn't for a vacation, and was instead to act as one of their new Frontier Brains. Deciding he needed a break from his own home, he accepted the offer and set sail almost immediately for the Pluto Region, following the directions on the letter sent to him. Now, he finds himself in a new Region, a breath of fresh air. Where will his adventure lead him next?
