The Dragon Clan Theme Song: "Walk the Earth on two feet as I do. Find value in humility, then you will find peace." Legend tells of a tale of two seasons who would roam the skies free, keeping watch over the lands, before the father dragon named the youngest dragon to be his successor. The eldest dragon brother would challenge the younger dragon brother and defeat him. The elder dragon won and killed his brother, but was left grief stricken. A man spoke to the dragon, and asked the great dragon, "Oh dragon lord, why are you so distraught?" The dragon told him, "Seeking power, I killed my brother, but without him, I am lost." That was all a young Natsuki has heard in terms of the story with his older brother Hayase Shimada. He always felt as though their grandfather had always left things out of that story. Either way, he said that that's how the Shimada clan came to be and would protect this small village during the time of wars.

The Sparrow and the Falcon Theme Song: "When I come back, I'll be a hero just like Big Bro was!" When Natsuki was a child, he spent his life in a small remote village in the country that was usually undisturbed. He went to a small school with the other kids, and would come home to the biggest house in the village. Natsu usually was considered lucky by others, but believed that it didn't make him any different to the other kids in the village, as to why he had some good friends. His parents were pretty well known too, with his father who started off as just a regular ninja, who turned Chunin on guard duty, to a well known head of the Shimada Clan who protected the village. His mother was a reporter, who wrote the papers of the ongoing Shinobi War at the time. They met and it was first sight. They both got married after his Jounin promotion, before he would station himself in Hochi Village and had both Hayase, and Natsuki as his father was named head of the clan. And that was all that Natsuki knew, since his parents would leave out other details. When Natsuki turned nine, Hayase would go to Konoha to become a shinobi and become a genin. Natsuki watched his brother go off, where the last thing he said to young Natsuki that he'll come back as a hero of Konoha, and of the Shimada clan. Sadly, that was the last they saw of him. Hayase was reported missing, as everyone feared him dead after a B-rank mission. His mother was distraught, but would still keep a strong face, out of respect for her eldest son. His father, turned to drinking, and would be set in depression whenever he mentioned anything close to regarding Hayase. The next year when Natsuki turned 11, he would also tell his family he'll be going to Konoha to live there as he would become a shinobi there. His mother pleaded with him, begged him, as his father also told him many bleak and horrible things of heroes not existing, and the worthless life of a shinobi. But Natsuki doubled down and still chose to go. They agreed, as his father arranged for him to move to Konoha.

His new life as a ninja Theme Song: "I'm a Genin now! I bet my team's gonna be super cool!" Natsuki's me life in Konoha was more than eventful, to say the least. His class was full of either very enshrined people like him, or just out right silent. Regardless, he made an effort to study and make friends while in the academy. His grades were somewhat normal, but he always worked hard all while living by himself in an apartment. They even had some big named kids too. He just heard of the Hyuga, the Uchiha and even the Uzumaki name. He always wondered how he would match up to them, but they were still possible friends he can make, whether famous or not. Everyone deserved to be treated like people in his eyes. At the time of the graduation exam to become Genin, Natsuki worked and struggled hard in his first real fight, but managed to still graduate with his class. He now has his headband, just like his older brother's.
