Help Tickets
I was wondering if there was going to be anyone responding to help tickets that have been open for a long time? I myself have put in a ticket on 3/18/2020 and have not received any response from anyone.

Please send Jakbauer an inbox with the ticket number and details and he will look into it. He can't guarantee things will be solved, but he will see if there is a hold up.

Instead of showing the ABP (average buy price) in the Marketplace for wishlist items can you just show the LBP (lowest buy price,) please? Maybe you could give us a choice to toggle between the two this way those who do not want the change can opt-out.
It's really frustrating to see a low average then when you click the item listing you see that the real prices are astronomically high. It would be nice to just see the lowest prices of things on your wishlist instead of the average. I hate seeing a low average on something on my wishlist only to find out that I can't actually afford it even with the average being low. Honestly, it is a real mood killer. Just give it to us straight on the prices. Other sites allow you to shop by lowest buy prices it would be nice to see this implemented with our wishlists. It would be a useful way to help modernize the Marketplace.
We can include the lowest buy price on the listing. Please give us a bit of time to implement this feature.

They're intentional. The difference isn't that some items are exclusive for gold daily chance, but the chance of receiving each class of items differs.

The following item links go to items that we were supposed to get for an update to the trash exchanging system which never happened for some reason. Since Towns is in the process of getting a new coat of paint can we please get these items for the trash update that got scrapped for whatever reason? It would be nice to have new items to get with the trash we collect from Towns.
I'll check with the art team on the status on the items mentioned as I'm not sure if there are any other means of obtaining them. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Thanks! I think they appeared sometime in 2010. They let you try them on in the MP. The house items might look good with avatars too. I like the paper crane backgrounds and maybe we could hold some of the cranes too. They just look really nice. xd

Hows it going paying off the ex artists?
Completing payments on backpay as well as bank debts had been moving at a steady pace, though it is taking a while. We just had a few more staff members to catch up on, and we will be all finished. We're still watching our spending very carefully to ensure that we pay off the rest of the outstanding payments.

Anyway, hope you're all staying safe, and I wanted to ask a question. I know that for guilds, when you delete a thread, it's gone for good. However, I've run into the problem where a thread was unintentionally deleted, and there was no way to recover it. I was wondering, if a mod were to review the contents, is there a way to get them back? I know the answer might possibly be no, but I was just curious.

I don't think that mods have the ability to restore threads, but a staff member such as myself should be able to find and undelete a thread based on thread number. Please PM me with details and I can look into it.

Hello... I was hoping there can be a way to implement a new type of block feature we’re we can block or whitelist certain accounts that have the same usernames? I notice they use the same one but add other words to them and if there could be a way to block them entirely it would be great because there is no way to block them after they make a new account.
Sorry we currently don't have a way of doing this. If it is implemented, the person involved would just figure out the exact amount of changes necessary to circumvent the system. It's unfortunately one of those issues that has to dealt with actively.
Thanks for the response. It's just hard really for those who deal with them on a daily basis in the most active forum, they keep coming back right after they get banned on throw away accounts and make throw away emails. It's almost as there is no point trying to block and move on because you start blocking them by the tens of hundreds.
Would it help to have areas that require users to obtain a certain amount of seniority such as having enough posts made, or achievements earned in order to post?
I remember you talking about this idea before, and it's really amazing. I think it's a perfect idea to both involve users, combat trolls, and not implement anything that would potentially harm innocent users. It's just a couple extra hurdles for most people, but for trolls, it adds up fast with how many accounts they create. I will love seeing this implemented.

Yes manga is one of the things I love. Once we have more resources we will definitely have more manga.

Can you increase the trade limit of game items to add from 99,999 to maybe 99,999,999 or something?
We can look into increasing the limit to whatever integer limit available.

I have a question, I just note that if I use plat, I can only list an item for 9,999,999 Platinum.. if I want to list it for 10,000,000 plat or more I need to change to gold!!
can this be fixed? is really annoying ^^'
Let me look into this and see where that limit is. Please let me know which item you were trying to sell also. Thanks.
The MP also gives the same error when trying to filter items that are above 10M plat in the price range function. This happened a month or two ago when after some MP update was made.

it's a feature in our todo list but haven't gotten around to implementing yet. We hope to add it to runway soon.

Thank you for running ATS today!
My question is about a glitch that's been plaguing inventories and is a relatively new one.
There are three Inventory sorting options, Global, Per Page, and Disabled. This is for stacking purposes. If you have your inventory set to Per Page or Disabled, sometimes it will randomly switch to Global. If you don't notice the switch and move something, saving your changes as usual, then you may have to redo a lot of work.
While other changes are hard to make and time consuming, like the shuffle bug, I was hoping maybe if you were aware of this glitch, it would be an easier fix? It's very frustrating to have to click off 'Global' six times a day if you're actively rearranging pages. I have not made the mistake yet of saving on Global, but it's only a matter of time. Other friends have not noticed it switched on them, and lost days of progress.
Hmm, each change of the inventory option should be permanent, but the options are also cached in memory. Let me have a look and make sure the cache is being cleared accordingly. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you very much. I can refer you to a user, or the user to you, who has documented this glitch somewhat and experiences it in their own inventory, making the mistake of saving the global condition.

It is impossible to tell what the gender is for scenic avis or avi's for people who may be transgender or just prefer using the other base for their avis. This creates problems in the forums when one user doesn't know how to address that other user. We've created now a 13 page thread in the SF about adding a pronoun drop down in profile settings that appears under your name in the forum view.
Thoughts?
We will look into adding ways to express gender identity through both flairs and name tags.

On the Gaia Guilds homepage when you click to see popular guilds, it's bugged. It's only showing very old and inactive guilds and it's always the same ones. It literally never changes. I'm in a few active guilds such as the NTSG guild yet they never get shown because of the glitch. Can you please fix this?
That's true, the search function seems to be broken, I'll look into fixing that later this week.

Would you ever consider giving us a newer version of guilds even if it means we have to restart our old guilds? I love guilds but since they are so outdated it's getting harder and harder to find active ones.
We'll look into fixing the front page so new guilds are featured more prominently, and I'll see about finding places to better feature new guilds. There are some bugs that I really want to have fixed.

I wanted to say how much I love the marketplace even though I feel like it could use some updates. Trading and exchanging on Gaia has always been the "game" or activity that has brought me back to this site. I don't make as much as some others are able to through trading, so I try to buy some Gaia cash when I can because I can keep up with new items, raise my gold amount, and it also helps the site.
I wanted to express my support for the option of showing the lowest buy price on the wishlist and other item info pages because that information would be more helpful. Many users wish for others to sell at the ABP when that price does not always reflect how much the item has been going for on the exchange forum or through PM trades. I would like the marketplace to show more information about how much the items have actually sold for instead of or in addition to the ABP, because the ABP can be misleading.
Other users have also suggested that there be a cap on marketplace prices or that it should not be allowed to sell items for more than the ABP, and I wanted to express my disagreement with that opinion. It would take the fun out of trading and cause me to want to leave the site or spend much less time/money here if users did not have the freedom to list their items on the marketplace for whatever price they want.
Also, I'm one of the people who doesn't want to switch to platinum. I posted a longer explanation of my reason why in the site feedback thread about the marketplace that's linked in my sig.
