Personality
Unlike his sister, Varo is a little more serious. While she is the one that comes up with plans for the future, he's likes to live life day to day. He's a bit laidback despite having his own form of discipline; a gentle giant really. Despite the fact that he's a kind soul to practically everyone he meets, he is extremely loyal to his pack. He's honest if not a bit quieter compared to other members. The fact that he's slow to temper means that in fighting contests he doesn't really try his best. He has a dry humor and is rather patient as well which is what makes him a great caretaker and protector of the pack youth.
History
Varo Neil Stolk was the second of a set of twins born to a large werewolf family. His father was the Alpha male of the Blue Iris Pack and his mother was a healer. He had a rather nice childhood and never wanted for any playmates. Unlike his sister, his first shift didn't happen until he was a teenager. While his sister had mastered her shifting he was just starting to learn. There was a sense that he was falling behind his twin so while he had to be removed from public school to ensure a safe transition, he pushed himself in other ways. He learned how to be of help to his pack in ways that his sister wasn't; least of all helping to reach the top shelf.
Unfortunately he was there when a majority of his nuclear family was killed. As he hadn't gone head first into training, Varo was less helpful in the fight though he managed to last long enough to not die. It was this event which pushed him to the physical training despite the fact that his gentle heart just wasn't into it. He didn't want to be a liability to the only sister he had left. While he lived with his uncle Gregori, Varo learned how to fight and he amassed a physically fit form to aid him in that endeavor. Despite the fact that he pushed his own training, his lack of ambition meant that he never challenged for a ranked role in the pack. Instead he settled into the caretaker of those younger than him - their guardian wolf really.
Recently though, his sister had been less than subtle that he needed to start considering ensuring their bloodline. Which means that he decided to set aside some time to actually attend the Choosing ceremony in the off chance that she might be right.
