XXXXX A family heirloom that was passed down through generations seen nothing more as just a shiny stone. While he wasn't enthralled by it, something was telling him to keep it around. Whether it was just to sell off for a bit of cash or something more is unclear.

XX｡｡｡TRAINER APPLICATION SAMPLE
XXXXXSo, maybe the boy didn't have much motivation for most things, except when it came to running his own Gym. Being a gym leader had always been in the family line, his father, his father's father, his father's father's father- and now finally; Klause himself. The bored expression never faltered much through his challengers which gave the impression that he wasn't at all interested in what he was doing. But, today was different. Someone had managed to beat the trainers up until himself. This had his brow arching only a small amount and a curve of his lips to match. Standing at the edge of the field as the challenger approached, he tossed the luxury ball into the air to release his faithful companion; Gnaw. The shiny Garchomp erupting from a bright light with a load roar. Klause would lower himself to sit on to the ground as he pointed towards his Pokemon, "Alright, alright. We know how this is going to go down already, Gnaw. Let's make the best of it." She Garchomp would nod to his master as he awaited the challenger who would toss up a pokeball to reveal a Leafeon. The elegant Pokemon let out a cry as it settled into it's place. The trainer wasted no time in barking out orders to the creature, "Leafeon; Magical Leaf!" Klause would c**k an eyebrow at the trainer. Surely she had to be aware that the typing was equal with one another? This had a perplexed expression cross him as he shook his head and waved off the command, "Gnaw; dodge it and retaliate with Poison Jab- get up close and personal." The Garchomp let out a growl as it lunged forward then cut right before the leaves could slice at him before lunging inward again to jab at the poor unsuspecting Pokemon. One would miss, but the second would hit square on, knocking the creature back a couple feet. "I can understand your idea to bring a grass to my ground gym." His less than enthused expression returning as he pushed himself form the dusty earth. Patting himself down he motioned for his Garchomp to widen the distance between the two, "Always expect the unexpected- always expect your challenger to have something to counter your Pokemon." He was trying to give the rising trainer a bit of advice but, they were becoming all too hasty, "Nonsense! My Leafeon is the best!" Klause rolled his eyes heavily. Over confidence always had him growing progressively more and more annoyed. "Have it your way. Gnaw; Fireblast." The Garchomp would grin before letting loose a torrent of fire towards the poor Leafeon. Hitting the pokemon head on and singeing the creature, it was pronounced fainted. Klause would look over towards the young trainer who was already starting to panic. Crossing his arms over his chest and finding his position back on to the earth, he tilted his head to the side, "So. Are you going to get off your high horse now and actually face me?" The trainer would look at his fainted pokemon before calling it back and contemplating what next.
What seemed to be several minutes turned out to be mere seconds before the opponent would send forth; Venusaur. The massive creature letting out a cry towards the two. Gnaw would stand his ground and let out a warning of his own before standing by, waiting for his master's orders. Klause slumped his cheek into his hand as his eyes begun to droop further and further, "Interesting, I guess." However, it soon picked up as the trainer brought forth his own megastone; evolving the pokemon further, "We're going to win now!" Klause groaned as he jerked his head back and hung over himself, "Good lord..." Pulling out his own mega bracelet, he called forth his Garchomp before sending it back out, "When will you kids ever learn, hm? Over confidence is the absolute worst. You're not going to win if you don't take a step back and think out your plan of attack. You can clearly see that I'm able to take out your grass pokemon with little to no issue. Why still try?" The trainer was visibly annoyed and started barking out orders to his pokemon. Klause would roll his eyes once more before standing up and motioning to Gnaw, "Fireblast." A flame erupted from his mouth, demolishing the Venusaur. The battle was over, and Klause stood victorious. "Now. Let's take a few steps back and see where you went wrong."
