Julian Schmidt
tab Shards of glass splintered and spread into the now crowded room as Julian made his entrance yet things seemed to slow around him. With eyes akin to puddles of blood surrounding a pond the sickly pale demon scanned the surrounding area as he was leaving the bike behind. Lurching from the bike he made a confused screech as he made eye contact with a redheaded chick for a split second as he landed on the the poor girl and some guy right next to her.
tab A few seconds passed as the dust settled before the shirtless demon jolted up, his auburn hair an even more frizzy mess than before. He heard a voice.
"What are you doing here?!"
tab No, he heard THAT voice. Looking around to the other five current occupants of the room Julian soon closed his eyes and cocked his head towards the ceiling and took a deep breath but there was something off. Taking another breath he could vaguely smell the others but there was something still something wrong and that… it was coming from him? It only took a moment to identify the problem as when he looked down the red hot knife from not-Chris was still stuck in his chest. With an animal like grunt he grabbed the handle and with clunky and reckless abandon pulled it out before sniffling the air again. And then again until he could properly smell his prey since he could still feel the pull from the spell.
tab Ignoring the others in the room he looked around still smelling the air before spotting him in a corner and enveloped in… something? Cocking his head and cracking his jaw the demon’s tendrils flowed effortlessly from his back as they shoot into nearby walls. “Chris…?” He said, elongating the end of the vampire’s name into a hissing noise. He was not a happy camper as he used the spider like legs to launch himself towards his soon-to-be assault victim.
"Look, if this is about the fifteen years without contact, I can explain."
tab “MONEY. Where is it Chris? You good for nothing sonofa*****. I could get a whole *** cruise liner with the amount you ****ing owe me at this point. Oh and that doesn’t even count as a drop in the bucket in your debt. Wanna know why?! BECAUSE **** yeah I wanna know where your cowardly a** has been for the last decade AND A HALF because apparently your above actually sending a gosh diddly darn letter.”He screamed as he violently shook Chris with the non knife hand, but the blood red sclera turning back to a more calm shade of ebony. “BUT how about we start nice and easy with the cash. I mean it’s not like you were idiotic enough to come back to the good ol’ red, white and blue without any cash… Right?” His vocal chords trembled at how sudden his voice raised two octaves at the end. When the vampire didn’t say that he had any of the money Julian forgot that he was wielding a knife and accidentally stabbed it into the wall.”Are you ****ing me right now?! ****ing seriously?!”
tab Throwing Chris’ shoulders to the ground it took all the the inner strength in him to not immediately try and merc him. Spit was practically flying from his mouth for how loud he was shouting. “Oooh, you better be damn glad you got Teach with you or I’d have already started to sell your organs to make up for lost revenue. Not even to mention the complete lack of respect over the years despite everything I’ve done FOR you…” Only now realizing the crowd between the two men the demon glared at everyone in the room as he tried to get a smoke. Sadly it was not meant to be as he had left his carton of cigs in his jacket pocket back at the bar.
tab When he realized this sucked in his breath to prevent a meltdown, tapping his foot incredulously as he tried to calm himself as he tried to think of a game plan before remembering that Chris was enveloped in a cloth and that he had a hot knife in the wall...
tab It was as if a light bulb had gone off in his head. Julian soon saw himself sawing at the cloth and throwing the vampire over his shoulder before he noticed he had lost his tendrils and could no longer summon them. “Well ****.,” the demon said while shrugging. “Sorry about the window. And if any of you guys are the owners here you can call this number and I’ll see about reimbursement. Other than that hope you guys have a wonderful night. Just gotta have a friendly chat with this old buddy of mine.” Julian casually stated as he attempted to leave via the broken window he came from.
Ember made impact with the fellow, or was it the fellow who made impact with her? Flying back the stick like girl attempted to brace herself, using one of her false limbs, which in turn flew off her body and smacked a wall with a thud. Causing her body to uncomfortably crumble.
Spark let out a laugh, watching the scene unfold. “Nice one sister.” She laughed outright now, her laugh cruel and malicious, almost as uncontrollable as she was and wild. Spark hunched over her sister, then reached the limb as it rolled back, plopping it in place in the opposite direction to spite her.
Ember rubbed her nub, adjusting the strap on her before noticing the arm was ln wrong, fixing it soon enough. She put on the strap, fixed the arm, with it’s silvery looking circulatory looking system….from various live studies….and adjusted the tendons, attaching them to wires once again, shoving the wires into her shoulder and nub with a pained grunt. Beauty was pain. Functioning was pain in some ways to. But regardless she wanted to live and did Spark.
Spark smirked like a shark in the water, about to attack it’s prey but did something unexpected. She offered her sister her hand, helping her up onto her feet. “Well, seems things with Dad aren’t workin out like we had hoped. Whatever will we do?” That was when Spark noticed something, but stayed silent, infact she shut up the rest of the next few moments even when her sister responded. She noticed the teddy bear, being dyed black, upon the body of the strange man. She quickly looked away, thinking in her head. Sister is going to go insane after this.
Ember looked around for her Teddy, first looking to Hollow as he seemed to be in possession of it most recently. But, she couldn’t see it on him, nor on herself. There was inner screaming inside Ember as she kicked a nearby chair into a desk. ‘”Mr, Mcstuffins!!!” She was having a rather loud disconnect, a conniption, a tantrum if you will.
Spark felt bad, so she motioned to her sister with her head and eyes to McStuffins the bear dug into the back of the strange man, attached by a neat silver needle and some golden thread.
Ember noticed, her eyes growing big, tears having been already flowing. she attempted to grab the bear but the man shoved someone onto their shoulder. Ember’s hand almost hit the male’s tailbone, but she stopped, utilizing the tendons to make only a swiping motion. Great disdain was felt in the air, becoming almost palpable.
“s’cuse me, Sire.” Spark said to Hollow, before rushing after her sister as fast as her legs would allow her. There was hope that ember wouldn’t reignite, as in go crazy, but slim hope. They both had to limit each other at this point, for the benefit of not only them but the world. She grabbed her sister by the shoulders and began attempting to throw her behind her, almost Supplex style, lifting her sister off the ground.
Ember screamed angrily, almost about to try to tackle the guy with her bear but being stopped. “Fine, fine, we follow then.” Said Ember hopefully loud enough only for her sister to hear, her feet hitting the floor as she was released and walking over towards the two. She walked a bit behind Julian.
Spark sighed, somewhat happily as a crisis was averted and followed behind her sister to grab her and stop her should she need stopping. It was okay if Spark attacked people, but she knew her sister had a conscience and would instantly regret it in these cases, causing further upset for her.Spark finally decided to say something now,, “Sir, your back. Silver needle, toybear.” Spark points at Ember. “May she have it back?”
Ember gleefully smiled, hoping more then anything to have her bear back. But for proper greeting she gave the gentleman a curtsy. “Ember.”
Then Spark moved next to her sister, pointing to herself. “Spark.” She managed, then looking down. “No surname.”
