[ 1 ] At its simplest, Wood Release allows the user to create wood, essentially converting their chakra into a source of life before, at it greatest, becoming mighty trees of various size and shape. The vegetation can sprout from the user's body or grow from the surroundings. Wooden constructs can also be created, ranging in complexity from cages to complete houses.
[ 2 ] The Wood Release was also equally famous for its power to manipulate, suppress, and/or absorb a targets chakra.

XXXXXAnother late night in the office made Tamiyo rather annoyed. She would rather be at home focusing on her garden. But paperwork had to be done. With a sigh, she turned her blue eyes towards the window. The moon glowed brightly and the stars twinkled as if to entice her to leave the office. The wind was cool, which often meant snow was about to fall. "Perhaps....a little fresh air would be all right..."
Tamiyo stood up, stretching a bit before moving to the balcony. With a smile, she moved quickly to make her way into the nearby forest. She hummed softly, walking through the dense woods before coming to a clearing. This would be the perfect place to just...let everything loose.
With a few hand signs, the woman spoke as she focused her Chakra. "Wood Release: Blossoming Sakura Forest!" she called out, several medium sized sakura trees began to grow and form around her. The branches would blossom into beautiful pink flowers that covered a small portion of the clearing. She would then quickly move her hands to make a few more hand signs, calling out softly once more. "Ice Release: Dance of Frozen Petals!"
The wind began to pick up, the condensation around her forming crystals of ice that seemed to latch onto the sakura petals as they detached from the branches. They flow around the woman as if to make a shield before she pointed towards one of the trees, the now rather sharp ice covered petals soaring to it and sticking into the trunk of the tree.
Tamiyo gave a satisfied smile before she moved over to examine her work. At least until a voice made her jump.
"Lady Mizukage....what are you doing out here all alone?" the voice of a young male asked her, coming out of the shadows slowly. Her assistant would then smile at her a bit. "Get bored with paperwork?"
She smiled before letting out a soft laugh. "I...suppose I did. I figured I would come out and get some air...what about you? Why are you out here?"
The man just smiled before moving over to her. "I saw you leave. Figured I would follow. I am truly sorry, Lady Mizukage, for doing that."
Tamiyo shook her head. "It's fine, Daisuke. Come, let's head back..." She said then before moving to walk past her assistant slowly. It didn't take long for them to arrive and as soon as they did...she was right back to work on the paperwork that had to be done.
