-------------Personality: Kenshin is a stern, stubborn, rarely-forgiving, and stalwart man with a strong dedication to justice and duty. He believes in spirit-supremacy and is quick to advocate war hawk tactics against humanity. His attitudes are rigid and unmovable with an extreme eye-for-an-eye retributive view of justice. A hard man of laws and honor, Kenshin adheres stringently to tradition with a black-and-white perspective. He is equally strict on himself as he is with others, often denying himself any amusement or joy. Kenshin is brave and self-sacrificial although ruthless. He values justice over mercy and compassion. He is honorable to a fault and focused on service although he can become deeply bitter over perceived slights. Kenshin has no hobbies aside from training and swordsmanship. Determined and restless, he spends every waking hour attempting to make the world more just.
Kenshin's childhood consisted of abuse from criminal parents which instilled his deep resentment. Out of shame for his parents, he began acting the opposite of that way. Kenshin believes that every man must choose his own way in life and that some are born inherently rebellious while others tend toward order. Kenshin is a member of the Spirit Dragon Clan and is absolutely loyal to them. He stands in staunch opposition to the Eikomi for their middle-ground stance on spirits and humans. Kenshin believes that the injustices of the humans against the spirits should be accounted for. He also believes that the spirits are more capable of creating a just world than humans.
