If you want something done, you best do it yourself. That is Jabjong's lifestyle in a nutshell. He doesn't like to rely on others, for the soul reason that he doesn't like owing them in return for their help. That being said, he'll be quicker to deny someone's help even if he's obviously struggling. This can lead to his temper peaking and a slur of swear words to escape. Enough to make a sailor blush. He also doesn't really care for helping others, unless certain conditions are met for him to step in. Jabs has a soft spot for weak things, mostly animals, But when it comes to humans, he doesn't like seeing people being picked on or bullied, which he knows is ironic given who he is. His favorite saying is that he likes to beat the s**t out of people who beat the s**t out of people. A bully to bullies if you will.
As far as friendship or something beyond that goes for Jabs, it's a tough road to travel. Jabs doesn't trust easily, and gets annoyed easily as well. Even still, when he does finally open up and start to get close to someone, he's a friend for life kind of guy,. Even if someone ends up betraying him he often finds it hard to cut that person completely out of his life. His loyalty has been compared to that of a well trained dog. One who refuses to bite the hand that feeds, even if the hand beats him. His undying loyalty can be associated with his obsessive tendencies. When he deems something is his he wont let go of it. Friendship, love, abuse. Bad attention is still attention. Though Jabs is trying to change that aspect of himself. Due to his rocky relationship in the past, Jabs has picked up some rather bad manners, and can often go a step to far when it comes to teasing. He can easily twist someones genuine feelings into something malicious. His trust issues elevate this when it comes to people who first encounter him and try to be his friend.
Finally, as one who hasn't really dealt with Pokemon, Jabs is a complete noob. He didn't pay much attention to Pokemon growing up, given his lifestyle he was often treated like one rather than given the opportunities to train one himself. Even the Pokemon he was surrounded by often treated him like less than human. This isn't to make one believe Jabs hates Pokemon, or holds a grudge against them, he knows well enough that the ones who mistreated him are only following the line of their master.

Sung, Jabjong. A child who was lucky enough to be born into this world, was met with only bad luck for the rest of his life. His name translates to 'b*****d' which is just what he is. Everything from his father abandoning his mother to his personality screams 'b*****d'. Jabjong's mother was for lack of a better term, a Gold digger. She met with rich men and had her fun spending their money. She wasn't shy to say it either. She'd keep the men happy so long as they kept her wealthy. However, it came crashing down upon her when she ended up pregnant. The father of this child swiftly cast the woman aside. Though she couldn't get money from desperate men, while pregnant the woman held on to the idea that once the child in her was born, she could use him to get more money. This didn't go so well. Despite being born a boy, Jabjong's father wanted nothing to do with him.
If not for his grandmother, Jabjong would of likely ended up in a dumpster. The elderly woman did her best to raise the boy, while his mother spiraled out of control, sinking into a hell of her own making. She often turned to abusing Jabjong while his grandmother was away. There wasn't a day that didn't pass where the boy wasn't covered in bruises. When his grandmother passed away due to an accident at the age of ten, the boy turned to staying away from home for as long as he could, hoping that when he got home his mother wasn't there or she was passed out.
When he finally reached middle school, Jabjong finally found some solace with a small group of friends. He wasn't dense, he know these boys were a bad crowd but he quickly came to realize the thrill of fighting while with his new friends. Being able to fight back was a rush. It helped that Jabs was actually pretty good at fighting. It wasn't long before the lifestyle of a delinquent was all he knew. It made his shitty life bearable.
Entering Highschool is when it started to grow into something far more dark. From stupid kids rebelling against the world, to partying, girls and money. Jabs and his friends were brought into the shadows of society where only the strong survive. It was here where Jabs met the man who changed his entire life, at first for the better... but then for the worse.
Yavanove Nico is his name. A tall man with long black hair, tattoos representing his status as a real member of a gang. Nearly fifteen years his senior, Jabs at first looked to him as a father figure. The man taught him better ways to fight, and better ways to get what he wanted. But then things started to get... strange. Yavanove's behavior shifted and before Jabs knew it, Yavanove was no longer a 'father' to him, but... a lover. Though Jabs didn't like the method of Yavanove's love, and this lead to him being abused. It was only thanks to an unexpected source of help that Jabs broke free from Yavanove's clutches. The unexpected hero of this story, Jabs' own father. However, Jabs wasn't given much of an explication as to why the man suddenly decided to show up after eighteen years before he was given a large sum of cash, a bag filled with various items and sent on a train to a destination unknown.
