xxxxx※ A kindhearted girl, Zoe loves Pokemon as well as helping others. She is a quirky bundle of energy with an ever optimistic outlook on life. She loves to have fun, almost as much as she enjoys a good meal. With her constantly on the move it comes to no surprise that she could eat as much as she does with no negative consequences. With her bubbly personality, the girl tries to make every moment an enjoyable one for her and her friends. At times, the girl thinks of herself as weak and often in the way, leading her to avoid confrontation with strangers. However, this young lady also has strong determination and always puts all of her effort into her research and caring for her companions. Unfortunately, she has the bad habit of leaping before she looks, going head first into danger. Due to her impatience, this has lead her to more than a few bad and dangerous situations. However, her persistence and strong will, have gotten her far in her adventures and out of more than a few jams. She's also prone to jumping to conclusions, this coupled with her eccentric behavior often leads others to believe she's a bit naïve or "not the bright crayon in the box". It also doesn't help that Zoe thinks more with her stomach or her love of excitement. Yet, it's quite the opposite: when it comes to intelligence, Zoe is no slouch in her studies. One might say she’s a bit too smart and can drone on and on with Pokemon facts and information. But even before her head, she will follow her heart: her generosity and care for others trumping all else.

xxxxx※ Zoe was a young child when she lost her parents and was left in the care of her grandfather. Life on Poni Island is unlike any of the other islands of Alola: here it was you and the wild. Her grandfather loved Pokemon and being surrounded by them. They lived an almost nomadic life, never staying in one place and that was the way she liked it. There was so much beauty to see and they agreed it was a waste to not venture out and see what there was to offer. But also, her grandfather was a researcher of sorts and valued knowledge. He taught Zoe everything he knew and they took the occasional trip to Seafolk Village to acquire new books. When Zoe learned of there being tons to thousands of creatures beyond their vast island, she was enthralled. She wanted to learn more about them, see them, know them even! At the age of 11, Zoe left on her own to journey around Alola, picking up her grandfather's research of studying individuality. It was then she met a Munchlax that had ate all of her supplies when she was camping out. They had a rocky start, especially since it kept following her when she wanted nothing to do with it. But when it protected her from a wild Spinarak, they made up and became good friends. When she finished her journey around Alola, her grandfather urged her to travel to other regions, but he didn't have to push too much. Zoe did feel some hesitation of leaving her grandpa by himself, where she couldn't just take a short boat ride to see him. Leaving Alola behind was frightening- yet, she still wanted to go. Zoe wanted to expand upon the old man's research; looking into a Pokemon's persona. All Pokemon were different, even among there own species. No two Munchlax were the same, even if they shared the common trait of chasing after food. There were a lot of Pokemon to see in the world, but the Pluto region in particular was a special melting pot of creatures. The young explorer was off on what she hoped to be an eventful adventure with her mischievous Munchlax, Gordy, in tow.
