Akeen sighed as he entered Blaze's room. There didn't need to be anymore drama than there was. He looked to Mercy and Blaze who seemed amused at their encounter with Koga.
"So, what is our plan and t'eory?" he looked from Blaze to Mercy. "I t'ink t'at we should act quickly so t'at t'ings do not get worst," he said.

Blaze watched as mercy reconnected with her puppy then smiled a bit. It was kind of cute but Akeen brought him back into focus when he asked what the plan and the theroy was. Blaze was a little taken back because he wasn't exactly sure. He felt like this was a curse and nothing to do so much with necromancy but Akeen and Mercy seemed to have more information on magic then he did. Blaze then smiled thinking that he brought his books with him. He grabbed a duffle back by his bed then plopped it down next to Mercy which just sparked a realization that Mercy was on his bed. He blushed a little thinking about it then shook his head opening his duffle bag rummaging around for his book.

"HERE!" Blaze called out as he pulled out a book on curses and dark magic. He handed it to Mercy since she seemed to be the most knowledgeable about magic and looked to Akeen. "Honestly, I need you guys to help me on this! I have no idea what any thing is here really...I can barely do magic. I need you guys to actually be the ones to figure this out. I hope this book helps you though..." Blaze said honestly a little helpless. He didn't like the feeling of passing off work but tried to look at it like they were going to be using their strengths where they can. Blaze was good in a fight if they needed something more physical but right now he needed to step back no matter how hard it might be for him.

Blaze gestured for Akeen to come closer to him and mercy so he could show him the book too. Blaze opened the book to a page on blackened objects. It was curious that it was a feather and that the book didn't have any established item for them to connect it to. It was just about how some key things for the curses might be associated with them. The key items will be more of a void piece, though tangible. Feathers indicated curse made with fallen angels, or so the book stated. The book looked to be old and outdated and some of it might have been very well exaggerated during the time of it being made, though, the void objects seemed to be a sound argument.

"This could be a curse...I think this feather is a void object and that we should try and find out more about this..." Blaze said offering the little he could waiting for Mercy and Akeen to work their brain magic in a sense.

Mercy looked at the book handed to her by Blaze and flipped through the pages
"So your idea is that this is more of a curse? Interesting though my understanding of curses was they were more exclusive to causing misery to one person...Curious"
The brunette tapped a finger to her lip as she pondered
"My theory is this is black magic leaning toward voodoo, a somewhat obscure kind of magic that relies on rituals, offerings, and power from higher beings. However, my theory from that is this is something rather obscure and if the feather is a totem of some kind then that is either part of the ritual or a link or sign of whatever entity or person is responsible for this situation. That being said, I'd like to find out what kind of feather that is, it's not uncommon for certain spells or curses or what have you, to call for parts from specific animals"
Mercy gestured with her hand and floated the book over to Akeen
"It's not as fancy as magic but get me a magnifying glass and an ornithology book and I can identify what bird this came from and that can help narrow down what spell we may be looking at, though that is contingent on this being a ritual of some sort."

"Not being able to die can be a curse," Akeen said. "Being able to die allows for the soul to be at peace and not be in any pain or suffering. If one is unable to die, t'at in itself is a curse," he looked from Mercy to Blaze. "De feat'er could act as an anchor, yes?" he looked to Mercy. "De only way to know for sure about de feat'er is to ask Belmont," he sighed. "He is likely in de infirmary at de moment healing from his encounter from his fight wit' Asher," he said. The scent of dark magic was still in his nose.

Blazed listened to them and then and looked back and fourth as they talked. He had no clue what was going on. He was beyond confused and was just trying to following along with what he could. He looked at Akeen as he talked him and tilted his head a bit..."I'm sorry but who the ******** is Belmont?" Blaze said really unfamiliar with a lot of the people around this place. He was new new...like He know really knew Mercy, Akeen and Calloway new....

"Asher was Belmont's room mate," Akeen replied. "Belmont appeared to be emotionally hurt and betrayed when he said t'at Asher was alive and wreaking havoc wit'in de University," he replied. "T'at is why I propose t'at we go visit Belmont to see if he knows anyt'ing else," he said looking from Blaze to Mercy.

"I'd be inclined to disagree" Mercy mused "Depending on the caster's moral alignment the idea of immortality is considered to be a goal among some witches and wizards. Even my father is immortal and, while he's not exactly on the side of righteousness, he's not actively seeking to cause chaos and sew discord, it's just a means toward his goal of furthering his knowledge and power. However, keeping someone alive or removing their soul just to puppet their body is most definitely in line with a curse"
The brunette sighed and crossed her arms over her belly as she pondered for a moment before hopping up and clapping her hands with a smile
"Well then! Shall we go pay our little friend in the infirmary a visit ?"

This area has been time skipped 4-5 months in the future.
