(Just a quick entering post) William would enter with Belmont in his arms as thankfully the doctor on staff would quickly rush to them. Will would quickly place Belmont onto one of the beds there so the doctor would be able to examine him and help him. From there William would explain what he knew and let Belmont explain any of the ongoing issues he may have been having as well.

He just kind of let the staff handle him. He wasn't too hurt, but exhausted. After a bit, he sighed and looked at William. "I'm sorry for the trouble...my Au- I mean, Professor Hainsworth is gonna kill me." he said with a little laugh as he sighed and looked at the ceiling. "I wanted some closure. And I know it was stupid but...I guess I also just wanted to be useful in figuring out what was going on...I know...it was stupid. Really stupid..." ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

William would take a seat next to Belmont while the doctor did their thing to make sure the other was alright. Will for his part was just staying here just in the very small off chance that Asher would somehow evade Odhran and come back to try and finish the job on Belmont. While William wasn't much use in a full open fight he was better suited for it than a student, especially with the years of police work under his belt. Once things settled William would glance at Belmont and gave a small chuckle and a half smile "I'll say, she was in hysterics. You're going to be in a lot of trouble most likely" he joked just a bit as he ran a hand through his hair a bit out of habit before pausing. William would listen to the other speak some more and was quiet for a moment before nodding his head "Yeah, it was a bit stupid. But your heart was in the right place but you need to remember...sometimes closure doesn't come easy...it's something...that comes with time..." William was especially aware of that, he hadn't had closure until his lovers killers were brought to Justice. Some old fashioned vigilante justice...at his hands. He shook his head a bit to rid himself of those thoughts, he hated thinking of those times and the things he'd done to get his brand of justice served.

Saffron stopped outside the door to try and pull herself together. She tried to clean up her face from tears but her eyes and nose were still splochy and red. She gulped and inhaled sharply a few times thinking that she would catch her breath and then walked in. She tried to hold it together and walked over to the side of Belmont's bed and was still inhaling shallow and quick as her eyes welled up a little. She tried awful hard to hold them back and then reached down and pulled Belmont towards her and hugged him...
What the ******** is wrong with you? I thought you knew better bug!
She said hugging him hard but not too hard...a few more tears dropped from her eyes and she sniffled a little putting Belmont back down...She gulped and was finally able to breath...The thought of losing more family was the scariest thing in the world to her and she had a lot of unresolved PTSD it would seem from the night of her family's slaughter.
I trained hard to make sure another family member doesn't die and you go running into harms way? If I had something other than my hand I would smack you with it...
She laughed slightly as she wiped away another tear. She didn't turn her head to look at William but glanced over at him then to make sure he was awake and then looked back at Belmont...
S-sorry. I didn't mean to blame you and Odhran for this...a student filled me in and you both deserve praise. Unfortunately, I can't really share what this boy means to me per his request...He doesn't want to be known by his family name and I'm trying to respect that...but...it's nearly impossible to hide...So I'm s-s-sorry I got angry with you guys...
She took a deep breath and clenched her fists...
And...I guess...thanks...for your help...
She said trying to be sincere as possible. It was harder because it had to be William here to help. She wasn't to fond of him and her pride was really telling her not to say anything. She felt it was too important not to. She looked at the doctors helping and tried to gauge weather or not they were actually competent. She didn't want to look a back at Belmont or William out of concern she would shed tears again..

But he understood better now. He wanted to be useful and know the truth behind his friend's death, but running like that nearly killed him...and that would have made things worse. He was going to reply when his Aunt walked in, still in hysterics. He looked over at her with a sad smile on his face and tracked her movement to where he was laying. Then the hug. He looked at her for a moment before returning the hug. "I know...I know it was dumb...I'm sorry..." he said as he hugged her. He stayed closer to her side and shook his head. "I should have been more clear. I don't want my peers to learn my last name...but the staff knows my name already. They know you're my Aunt...so it's okay right now..." he wasn't sure how true that statement was, but if it made her feel better...he was okay with it. Family was important after all. William would remain quiet while the two had their back and forth. It was none of his business after all however a small smile formed on his face, it was at least nice to see Saffron be a little more human for a change. The woman was always on his case whenever they saw each other that he swore she only had one mode and that was 'b***h' mode. Will would then be pleased to at least know that Belmont was feeling better now, at least he hoped he was and wasn't just saying that for her sake. Nonetheless however William's attention would be drawn to Saffron when she began to speak to him and he blinked in surprise 'Did...she just apologize?' he thought to himself as she explained how she was filled in on what had happened. Of course William had been given a report of some things that needed to be noted for the rest of the year but he'd thrown it away. That list probably had the information about their familial ties, oops. Maybe he shouldn't have been so lazy as to skip it, ah well it was done. A small smirk then appeared on his lips as she actually even went as far as to thank him. He wanted to make a sly remark to her about the fact she was apologizing to HIM of all people but he bit his tongue and instead simply shook his head and chuckled "It's no problem, though you'll have to thank Odhran later as well. I simply brought Belmont here, our head Guard was the one who scared the ghost off" William was at least humble enough to not take all of the credit, or was he just deflecting her thanks to someone he felt was more worth it? It was hard to tell even for him sometimes.

Saffron smiled at Belmont as he spoke to her. She sighed and then held his hand tightly...
If you plan to do things like that maybe I should make you run the field with me and my work out class...That way you are able to run better and get out of the way...I'll convince your mom to make you come for a month. As punishment. Albeit as soon as you are better...
Saffron said then stiffening as William started to comment on her apology and thanks. She looked at him slightly and tried to not get mad though it felt like he was telling her to do something she had already planned on.
The day I take advice from—
She clenched her hand over Belmont's probably a little too hard.
I already know about the Dullahan...I planned on thanking him rightfully...Perhaps we should give him a parade since he's one of the only staff members that does anything around here...
She said taking a deep breath. She had a strong sense of respect for Odhran but he also scared her to death. There was something about seeing him turn into his headless form that triggered some kind of PTSD. She gulped thinking about it. She had never been that close to him when he changed before and she started to shake a bit.
Anyway, I already planned on it...
She said after a moment from her last statement to double down on how he didn't need to coach her to be a better person. Despite him likely not meaning it in that way she was ready to be offended by him. William's being rubbed her the wrong way and she didn't know why.
It was a nice moment until I started speaking to him...why cant I just let him talk to me without getting angry...
She took a deep breath and put her hand to her eyes...
Please...Please just accept the apology and thanks and don't tell me how to treat others...
I'm not looking forward to coming face-to-face with Odhran that much either...
She turned a little red feeling a little bad about her retort. The guy just aided her nephew and she just couldn't let him do something selfless like share credit. She leaned down and kissed Belmont's forehead and turned to the door...
Belmont, I'll be back to check up on you...I am going to see if your mom got my message yet.
She looked over to William and nodded trying not to say anything else that would further their distaste for one another.
He's going to share credit? Is he trying to come off like a selfless hero? Gods I can't stand that guy...
She thought trying to be focused on something else other than seeing Odhran again...

I know you're stronger than me, but we don't know what we're up against..." he cautioned before laying back down and looking at the ceiling. William thought that what he said was relatively inoffensive but of course Saffron still managed to get offended by what he said and as a result an annoyed look crossed Will's face as he rolled his eyes. ******** sake can't she just not be a b***h for one minute and William's eyes narrowed a bit as she continued to insult him "Oh bite me, I do my job and whatever is needed of me" he paused for a moment "Oh right and at least I don't antagonize someone who hasn't done anything to me....Saffy" was the snide reply he came out with a blatant roll of the eyes. Will was not afraid to snap right back at Saffron, if she was going to be unpleasant to him then he'd be unpleasant right back! No point in being nice to someone who wasn't nice to him after all, and William thought he'd always been cordial with her too nonetheless. Of course hearing her next comment William just sighed and shook his head "I wasn't telling you to do anything, I was just saying that he deserved the praise more" he stated, leaning back in the chair "But if you insist then fine, you're welcome for helping Belmont" he finished as Saffron took her leave and left the two alone and William would look over at Belmont and watched his face for a moment after Saffron had left "A penny for your thoughts?" he'd inquire to the young man as it seemed like he had a lot on his mind at the moment.

Saffron stopped dead in her tracks and clenched her fists again...this time it was much harder and she wants sure how to react. She had many mixed emotions about how she just treated him and then he was reacting. Notably as expected, but it didn't help to give him the benefit of the doubt. She whipped around swinging her braid over her shoulder and started to glare at him. "LOOK HERE! YOU—" she put her hands up and then turned back towards the door. She wasn't going to make it worth her time. She took a deep breath and started to walk out the door dropping her hands to her side and letting Will have his moment. "Even I have to admit he deserved to defend himself like that..." She thought with a sigh and walked out of the room.

William always felt so drained after interacting with Saffron for longer than a few minutes at a time, she was just too good at irrigating him with that nasty attitude. But what was worse was that she only ever popped that attitude with him, people like Odhran, Nicholas, or anyone else for that matter were treated nicely which baffled him. However once she was gone Belmont would speak which caused William to blink at the words he said and raised an eyebrow "Really? If that's true then your Aunt is a strange one, all she does is belittle me at every chance she gets" he stated before sitting back in his chair and rubbing his temples a bit. He would then inquire about what Belmont was thinking and felt a small but sad smile "You feel useless? I understand that feeling..." he spoke as his gaze stared ahead "That's just how it is in life sometimes, you have to accept that there's nothing you can do...whether you like it or not" he would then look at Belmont "However you're not like me, willing to resign yourself. You still have the ability to push forward regardless of how useless you may feel, use that drive Belmont...don't end up like me" he stated with a small smile on his face. William wasn't exactly good at this whole pep talk thing but he hoped that his words were able to at least make sense to the younger man.

He was surprised to hear William talk about himself in such a low manner of speaking. He knew the feeling though all too well. He was on the other side of the spectrum, being overshadowed by his mother's accomplishments. He knew that the path he'd chosen was going to be a hard one, but, he also knew that going into it. Belmont nodded a little bit though. "You shouldn't talk that way about yourself sir." he said as he got up out of bed. He stretched a little. "Resigning yourself drowns the drive to achieve. I know I can't understand what you've gone through...but there is always time to follow what you believe in. You're not useless either...after all, you saved my life. And for that, I'm in your debt." he bowed and smiled at the man as he grabbed his bag from the table, putting the strap on his left shoulder and adjusting it. A good amount of time had passed, and Bemont felt calm and collected again. Plus his stomach didn't hurt as much. "I'm okay now. I promise I will take it easy, however, if you need to run something by me about this mystery, please keep me informed. I want to help as best I can." he said to him before bowing again and taking off out of the infirmary. It was time to figure out what to do next. (exit) ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

William gave a small smile before chuckling at the young man as he spoke, it seemed that Belmont and Saffron were much more similar than he initially thought "Belmont I didn't save you, Odhran did. I simply carried you here, don't give me praise that I don't deserve..." he stated with a firm shake of the head, hardheadedness clearly ran in that family of theirs. They were just so stubborn! Nonetheless he would nod his head at the young man as he got up and spoke once again "Alright but don't go tangling yourself up in something you might not be able to, you might not get a second chance next time. We'll contact you if we need help...although your Aunt probably wouldn't allow it" he laughed a small bit and relaxed in the chair for a moment after he left and got up. Quickly deciding to leave himself, he had his phone turned on so they would be able to contact him if they needed him. He doubted though as his skill set wasn't very useful for catching ghosts "I need some fresh air..." he mumbled, getting up and leaving. (Exit)
