"Well then come along" Mercy gave a wave of her hand and began hovering as her clothes shimmered with a sickly green energy
"I'll do my best to keep it from being traumatizing...Actually, I might have an idea on that!"
The brunette beamed as she suddenly dropped to the floor and hurried for the exit
"Come now, don't dawdle!"
She grinned as she burst through the door and made several gestures with her hand that caused a pool of green flames to blink to life in front of her, eventually releasing a horse, an undead one by the look of it, from its depths with a distorted neigh.
"Good boy Shuck" Mercy cooed as she rubbed a hand on the dull black fur of the beast's muzzle and ran her other hand through the mane of frayed hair and dancing green flame "Get ready to help mama give a lesson."

"A little of both" Mercy said as she stroked Shuck's muzzle "He's bound to me by soul, because of how close we are he manifests as a completely physical entity, but we'll get into this in a moment. Now you need a demonstration"
The brunette rose from the ground and straddled the horse's bare back with a giggle
"Come now, up on his rear." She held her hand down to Akeen "Don't worry he won't buck you off while I'm in control" The horse nickered, tossing its head slightly and blowing a sudden burst of cold dust from the bare bones of its nostrils while it seemed to look the rune mage up and down

"Oh he's quite real and very dead" Mercy chuckled and patted the stallion's neck "Since he's bound to me and I have quite a lot of power, I keep him tucked away in a sort of nether realm along with the rest of my bound subjects. Oh you may want to grab on, not too high though, Blaze might get mad at you dearie"
Mercy gave Akeen a wink over her shoulders as she gripped the worn-looking reins in he hands and angled her elbows so the mage could grab hold of her waist. Two clicks of Mercy's tongue sent the horse into a steady trot that broke into a gallop as they headed toward the forest
