We are a college that only accepts students of wizardly abilities. If you can't do magic this school isn't a very productive place for you.
There are not really any set spells and things. The staff asks that you don't fight in the school, because it can get messy. If you would like to duel than take it to an arena or something. In this school we accept almost anyone with their parent's money paying for it...I mean! On pure merit. We accept any one on pure merit. If you do well in your studies and can pass the exam you are more than welcome to come here.
We do not encourage you guys to talk to or mingle with anyone outside the wizard community. This is in a magical realm and there are no mere humans here. There are other creatures that lurk around, but humans simply do not exist here because they can not pass over to this realm. That's a safety feature. Humans have tried too many times to kill us therefore we fixed it by not being around humans. We do employ other species though so please refrain from talking with them. In this school we want to keep bloodlines pure. We don't let half and halves live in this realm or the others. Just be aware of that.
First and foremost you are here to study. Most of your parents pay a hefty penny to allow you to stay here, none of you want to let them down. If you are a poorer student we encourage you to do chores or things for one of the more well off students for money. If you are a well off student make sure you tip and pay the poorer students when they do things you ask them to. They came here on a scholarship. I assure it's not enough to enjoy life around here. Please, please, please do your own homework and studies though. We have a cafe you can apply at but keep in mind that we don't encourage friendships or relationship of any kind with the them.

Human Realm:
This realm isn't accessible, but many of the wizards here heard of it. It's not a very pleasant place. Things have gotten way out of hand and the wizards that are from there are certainly not here at this school without a scholarship. It's where a lot of the poorer wizards are from. There is mass killing and hunger everywhere. The wizards had to create this realm to guard some of the remaining strong bloodlines.
Humans can't make a magical being, so, no wizard has human ancestry. They are almost completely different species. Wizards and humans can have kids together, just humans ones though. You will not see any trace of human at this college. No half and halves.
The human realm is referenced a lot. Just know it's a place of non-stop war and students that study here and plan to go back to the human realm are likely doing so for wizard law enforcement reasons.
There seems to be deliberate fear mongering surrounding the human realm. hmmm.
A fairly nice place to live but very expensive for some. Wizard folk will pay a lot to stay out of the human realm. Those that can't are generally live in the human realm. They leave their families behind there to come here and get an education. Some dream to make enough to afford to live here with their families and some dream to fix the human realm.
A lot of wealthy wizard families get their wealth from the desperation of middle-class wizard families to stay here in the wizard realm so it wouldn't benefit them for the human realm to become fixed. They try to discourage young wizards from trying to fix the human realm.
There are other beings that live here that are not wizards nor wealthy but there are jobs simply not meant for wizards and their place is to do those jobs. Waiters waitress, cooks, maid work, ground keeping etc. They are simply there to make the wizarding world more coveted by the wizards wanting to earn their way here. The other beings just want to make sure they are out of the human realm. Wizards are discouraged from making more than small talk with them. Half and halves are all killed. No exceptions.
In the wizarding world, there is the policing force that is known as the Guardian Knights. Founded by Diana Hainsworth, these knights are trained in both weapon combat as well as Guardian Magic, something that Diana created and the knights specialize in. These knights patrol the towns, cities, and other major landmarks in the world. Their job is looking for rogue wizards that try and cause chaos. A division of the knights is even in the human realms to try and maintain peace with the humans. They strive to make the world a better place by detaining criminals, not executing them, but trying to help through reform. Anyone that is BEYOND help, well, they are put away for a long time...

Headmaster Magi's Introduction:
The stage was dark until the theater area got fuller. Soon the place was packed with students and the orientation had begun. the lights got darker and then the stage lit up. There was a man that walked out on to the stage and sat in an elegant chair that magically appeared out of nowhere. He smiled at the people and then quietly waited from them to be quiet. He seemed not to be in a rush, which is likely true.
Hello all! My name is Magi Oblivion. and I am your current headmaster of this here college! I stayed out of the spotlight for the last couple of days so you younglings could enjoy your time getting to know more people and things around here yaddy yaddy yadda....Boring...Now on to the fun stuff!
He clasped his hands together and stood up quickly followed by the chair disappearing in thin air.
You probably know little to nothing about me and that is by design. I actually have been living among you the last few days talking to you guys and getting to know you, but you weren't aware because I'm a shape shifter! Now while it is not nice to not be transparent with all my students, I was curious as to who you all are. From here on out I will be 100% up front and honest with you.
He said walking the stage closer to them and put his hand over his chest.
As we know some spells are only taught in family bloodlines directly and much like a grandma's apple pie recipe are not given out easily. Wizards of strong family backgrounds have plenty of spells they keep to themselves because that is how we stay strong. For the Oblivion Family it is shapeshifting spells. My family has focused on this for years and we are the #1 shape shifters in all of the wizard world. There are other strong families that do this such as the Muze Family with their fortune telling and future reading magic they have honed and crafted over the years. And lest we not forget the great Hainsworth family for their mastery on the dark and white arts to become some of the best knights we have ever seen. Yes, we have strong wizards that attend this school to learn their basics so they can start their real training on their family taught magic. However, they are not all that is important here.
He said looking around at the students.
While I was walking amongst you, I have found there to be a number of students that don't yet have strong family grounds, and some are even from the Human world! You guys might have little to start with, but you can change that here and that's the goal. I have met several students that want to join the wizard police force to help out in the human realm and that's very noble. They will be learning guardian magic and perhaps they can someday come up with spells only known to their families as well. That is my real goal as headmaster to see all of you blank slates into high wizard society with names your younger generations will be able to carry proudly.
He crossed his arms and nodded at them. lightly then took a breath to start again.
This is not a time for romance, though I am sure some of you will meet your other half here we have to be diligent on what wizards will do well with other wizards’ family wise. If you are a family from a noble bloodline, we encourage you to keep within your class. If you are starting your bloodline again, try to look in your class. We want to make sure we are not outrun by any other race and we keep things pure as the glittering snow. A cross of class can make a bloodline weaker. You should always be looking for what makes your bloodline the best. There is no shame in building it up with someone of the same class, but we do not want to bring anyone's class down either. Do not even think about crossing with another species. It should say in all of your acceptance letters we kill half and haves. Even, if you want to live through your child's death I still wouldn't do it if I were you.
He took another deep breath and then sat down in a magically appearing chair and crossed his legs again.
Now that we have all that ugliness out of the way I can elaborate more on who I am. Like I said I have the best shape shifting magic known to the wizarding world and I come in many forms. Today I am Magi. I will always have the last name Oblivion, but my name might change from time to time too. You will understand more on that later. The shape shifting magic is powerful but cursed and sometimes it's hard to remember who you started out as and overnight you can change into a new person. I have trained all my personas to wear an eye patch though so hopefully you will know it is me when you see me.
He said pointing to his eyepatch.
Sure I can see without it and everything is fine with that eye, but I wanted a sign it was me and eye patches look pretty cool, am I right? This however does not mean that every person you run into with an eyepatch is me. I will look completely different each time and I might act completely different also. Sometimes I'm a man and sometimes I'm a woman. You must be keen to catch me. It can be like a fun game from time to time until you know all my regular appearances. I do have another way however just in case someone pretends to be me and endanger our students...
He said as he pulled out a futuristic phone device. He held it out to the students.
Along with your acceptance letter you guys should have received these

. They are cell phones that help you stay safe on this campus and they will allow you to keep your identities safe as well. This can confirm my identity. You do not want dark wizards who misuse magic to come and corrupt you. These will also help you find students you need to talk to for school reasons and you don't have to fear of anyone but you being able to see it. Your phone is for your eyes only. They are also to help you keep in touch with staff. Need a book? Shoot a text to Vivian to see if it is in. Just make sure you talk to her a bit when you go there, she gets a bit lonely. We can see all texts on here full disclosure, but it is good for our staff to only talk to you on these because we do not want people making false claims against anyone. All contacts of everyone in this school will be on here and you will know if you are talking to a student or a staff member and what their job is. Please use these over your cell phones while you are on campus. It will give you all my announcements and I will let you know when he text feature is ready for use. This is more of a safety feature over anything. I mean not that you will need one or anything it's completely safe to be here.
He gulped and then looked a little awkward then regain composure.

You can make a high ranking family NBD it's not like you have to choose a role or nothing but like high ranking class families are associated with types of magic.
