So, starting with Team Awakening. They weren't always such a bad group of "villains". Originally, they were nothing more than rebellious teens, who wanted to go against the strongly rooted traditions that those in Suimin have. They want to threaten their very ways of living by exploring the ruins under each of the main islands. Of course, everyone knows this is completely off-limits, and pretty much no one knows what is in these ruins. At one time, many agreed with their views and philosophies... before they started to do villainous things. Attempting to break into the ruins, stealing certain Pokemon, whether from other Trainers or even the Professor. They claim to be attempting to further their goals by finding the Legendary Cresselia, and Mythical Darkrai, in order to reach their true goal of trapping the entire Region, and quite possibly the entire world, in an eternal sleep, of which they rule over. They're not currently working with Team Carbo.
Team Carbo is more or less your cliche villain group. All they really seem to want are all the gems in the world... but they're not stopping at only gemstones. The Reb and Blue Orbs of Groudon and Kyogre, the Lustrous, Adamant and Griseous Orbs of Palkia, Dialga and Groudon. Many are unsure if they are truly only after these objects solely, or if they plan on using them to attempt to control these Pokemon. Any and all intel on them is rather... airy. All that is truly known is that they are after all of these objects, so many are attempting to stop them first. But of course, they are just as liable to steal others' Pokemon to further their own goals. Whether they're after world domination or not is currently unknown, but it is known that they aren't currently working with Team Awakening.
