After Sting defended his CWF Championship on WAR against Kevin Owens, with the match ending in a no contest due to interference from the Authority, the CWF Champion Sting will speak tonight about who he faces at the Royal Rumble among other things.

 The fans had just gotten in their seats as Throwdown was just starting, and the lights go out and Stings theme plays, getting a big round of cheers from the audience as eventually The Icon and CWF Champion makes his way out from backstage, with the CWF title over his shoulder proudly, every day he is proud that he won the title that alluded him his entire career, as he stops and cups his hands over his mouth and yells WOO! Before walking down the ramp. "Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome, the CWF CHAMPION.... STIIIINNNGGG!!!"Sting makes his way down the ramp, microphone in hand as he walks up the steps and enters through the ropes walking around a bit, nodding his head at tbe fans who were cheering him loudly, and the lights return to normal and his theme fades out and he prepares to speak. "WOOOO! Ya know there's many reasons I'm glad I am the CWF Champion, and one of them being that Royal Rumble is coming up, and this time, I dont have to compete in it! Because at the Royal Rumble Pay Per View I'm gonna be defending this bad boy right here. It's a great feeling to be defending your title at Royal Rumble, knowing that you are kick starting the Road to Wrestlemania, a very special Wrestlemania in CWF'S 10 year anniversary. To defend the CWF Championship at that event would be surreal, but that is then, and the Royal Rumble is now, and the Stinger doesn't have an opponent, at least not right now. I hand picked Kevin Owens on Monday Night WAR a few weeks ago, and that man showed me why I was right in picking him. He fought me to my very limit, and it really could have gone either way, but it went no way, thanks to the Authority. You know, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H, and AJ Styles and Abyss and Bobby Roode and Randy Orton can all be bitter about their failures to take over CWF, but to constantly interfere in matches is really, weak. But that's business as usual, but it just shows that Stephanie and Hunter will never learn, that until the day I retire, or shoot, until the day I DIE, I, the STINGER, will never let them or anyone ruin this great company that has held together for 10 years as the greatest place to come and wrestle and perform and by far the greatest place to entertain everyone." Sting would be looking into the camera, with the crowd cheering him as he speaks again. "That being said, what's it gonna be? Who wants a PIECE OF ME at the Royal Rumble?" Sting would turn towards the ramp waiting for anyone.

Stephanie McMahon's theme would play out through the arena, and the people knew business was going to pick up. She would walk to the ring with her eyes focused on Sting, and the commentary team would joke about Stephanie herself being the one to challenge Sting for the title. She would make her way to the ring. Now in the ring, she would request a microphone, and be given one almost immediately. With her theme song cutting and the audience silencing their boo's and unnecessary chants, Stephanie McMahon would have the time to speak on the situation. "Very bold words for a man who's battered, beaten and broken at this point. You see last week you received an Authority beating. I know you're not 100% and to stand here in my ring, yes, MY ring.. and issue an open challenge is obscure. But that just goes to show when you have more guts than brains, you'll do anything to appeal to the people that don't love you like you think they do. Sasha Banks learned that, but when will you Sting? But anyways.. The Royal Rumble will be the start of the Road to CWF's 10th Anniversary WrestleMania, but I'm afraid you will not be apart of that show Sting. You see, by time WrestleMania comes around, you won't even have that championship anymore, nor will you even be in the picture to compete for it. At The Royal Rumble, you will defend it and LOSE it to this man..." Stephanie would say, pointing to the entrance ramp-way.

......WELL I CAN'T HIDE! WHOAAAAA!The theme song would get super intensed. "Evil Ways" By Blues Saraceno would play out through the PA system, as AJ Styles would appear out from the gorilla position, with his hood up. He would slowly walk out as the audience would chant "AJ STYLES! AJ STYLES! AJ STYLES!" with claps in sync with them.

Before Sting, AJ or Stephanie McMahon could speak, the familiar beginning of Randy Orton's theme song plays as the audience has a surprised reaction, believing Stephanie had already named the guy who was gonna face Sting, but Randy Orton walks out from backstage, heading straight down to the ring, ignoring the people at ringside as he trots up the steps and enters the ring, looking at the fellow authority members as surely they were a bit disgruntled to see him but he receives a microphone from ringside personell and his theme fades out. Randy paces around, looking at Sting but first addressing Stephanie... "Now before you say anything, theres something that everyone in this ring should know, everyone in the back and everyone in this arena should know, is that I deserve a CWF Championship opportunity more than anyone. I'm the best superstar to ever grace this company's presence, I was a champion when I left, and the day I returned I became champion again. I know what it's like to be a champion, and considering I have actually beaten you, Sting, before, theres no doubt that I would do it again." Randy would give a slick grin and slowly turn hus head in the direction of AJ Styles... "Now THAT, is something you can depend on..." Randy lowers the microphone waiting for someone else to speak.
