"Death Squad Anthem" by Thy Art is Murder hit the PA as The Celtic Cannon walked out from the backstage area to a chorus of boos. McKay simply looked around as he gave the crowd the middle finger and reached into his pocket, pulling out a beer bottle which he popped open and downed the stout in near record time. Mikey then began his walk down the ramp and into the ring as he looked over to the ref, trying to intimidate him.
"Introducing first, from Ireland, weighing in at 295 pounds, the Celtic Cannon, Mikey McKay!"

I told everybody to get down
Better never leave the ground

Aim Steady by Zero:9:36 hit the PA system as the familiar face who had returned a few months prior is back again and facing a bigger opponent in Mikey. But the veteran has had always been in this position, so you can only expect the best from the light heavyweight.
Weighing in tonight at 245 lbs, from St Paul, Minnesota. Trent.
Trent would make it ringside, climb the stairs, and immediately slip through the ropes from the apron inside the ring as he was raring to go tonight.

As soon as the bell rang, Mikey went to bull rush Trent into the corner, looking to establish early dominance. If successful in doing so, Mikey would try to throw some shoulders into Trent's midsection!

The much larger athlete caught Trent off guard as he would have been met with a big shoulder into the gut, followed by a few more leaving Trent bent into the corner with pain flowing through his core and stomach.

After finishing his introductory offense, Mikey looked to clasp his arms around Trent's rib cage to try for an over head belly to belly throw!

Trent was wrenched out of the corner and tossed almost completely across the ring by Mikey. The smaller individual would have landed on his back first, then flopped over to his stomach to relieve the pain as Mikey taking control early on

Mikey then kips up to his feet, as the crowd boos loudly. The Celtic Cannon simply flipped off the crowd, before turning back to Trent, looking drive his boot into The much smaller opponents chest when he would try to stand.

Trent would have managed to a kneel before having a boot meet viciously with his chest, causing him to stumble backwards but maintain his balance on his knees.

Immediately after the impact, Mikey looked to lift his knee into the jaw of Trent, hoping to show dominance and control of this contest to try inserting himself into the title picture! Trent was a former world champion and a win over him would mean quite a jump in the rankings!

The knee would be pressed into the jaw of Trent, however, the smaller man would show some resilience as he started making some movement in the hold, trying to get to a more favorable position.

((I actually wasn't going for a hold of any kind, but I'll work with it!))
As Trent began to struggle and squirm about, the Celtic Cannon looked to lift his right arm up, and club it down into the side of Trent's ribcage!

The shot would connect with ferocity as Trent would begin to slow down in order to shield his ribs from another blow and to regain air, as he had the breath knocked out of him.

And Now, Mikey looked to wrap his arms around Trent's torso and try picking him up for a gut wrench suplex!

Trent would have been dead weight while most of the pick up was happening. And just as the gut wrench was about to happen, the smaller man looked to push his weight down and prevent the slam from happening.
