After a chaotic Summerslam Pay Per View, the Authority were off to a great start, when Charlotte retained the Undisputed Womens Championship, and Abyss retained the TV Title, but then things went way downhill in a hurry when Randy Orton failed to defeat and take the World Title from Cesaro, Triple H suffered a loss to Samoa Joe in scary fashion when he had to be helped out of the arena after Joe's dangerous Coquina Clutch Submission, and AJ Styles lost the CWF Championship to Sting despite the help he received from Bobby Roode and Abyss, leaving Stephanie McMahon in a very sour mood for her henchmen in the Authority.

 "Queendom" would play through the PA system, as the audience would stand to their feet and begin to boo. Tonight was an unusual one, as the Authority would be led to the ring by Stephanie McMahon. Usually, it would be led by her and her husband, The Game Triple H, but he would take some time off to recover from his match at Summerslam against Samoa Joe. On the stage, Stephanie McMahon would make her way down to the ring as she would have the CWF Television Champion Abyss, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, and the former CWF Champion, AJ Styles coming down to the ring with her as part of the Authority. Charlotte Flair was in this well established stable as well, but she was in the locker room area getting ready for her match tonight against Sarah Logan. Stephanie McMahon would then make her way to the ring with the straighest face of a lifetime, coming off an embarrassing Summerslam defeat, which she will get to the bottom to in a few moments. Reaching the ring, the ring announcer would hold the ropes open for Stephanie McMahon and she will come in, requesting a microphone, as the group of men stood in the ring in a well nice, single filed line, horizontally. Stephanie would then prepare to talk.

Abyss would be in the ring with the TV title over his shoulder, looking as intimidating as ever.

AJ Styles would be in the ring feeling incomplete without his CWF Championship, as he would be holding onto his neck, rubbing where he was hurting.

Randy Orton would be in the ring with his fellow Authority members, in a baaad mood after losing to Cesaro at Summerslam.

Bobby Roode was in the ring standing alongside AJ Styles, as the mood was really dark among the Authority..

Stephanie McMahon would be walking back and forth in front of these men in her high heels, as she would wait for her theme song to die down. Once it faded out, she would place the microphone to her lips and look at hard camera, facing the crowd. "Tonight, my husband Triple H isn't here because he sustained an injury at the hands of Samoa Joe." The crowd would begin to cheer loudly, as they would have thought Triple H had it coming to him. "So unfortunately, he will not be here tonight, or for a while at least. And after this show goes off the air tonight, I will be making my way to the hospital where he residing to be at his bed side but allow me to take care of some BUSINESS ... first." Stephanie would say, as she would then turn to the line of men that was behind her, as she would start one at a time, with Abyss.  "Abyss, congratulations on beating and successfully retaining your Television Championship against Roman Reigns in that Monster's Ball Match, however, you have failed to help AJ Styles retain the CWF Championship when it was your job to come down and provide support. Until you can once again prove yourself, there will be no repercussions." Stephanie would then walk in front of Randy Orton. "Randy.. Randy. You had ONE job at Summerslam, and that was to shut my father up and reclaim what was yours, which was the CWF World Heavyweight Championship and you failed. Now my father and Cesaro are having a good ole' time while we're here in this ring moping and pouting about it! it should be them, not us! cause in The Authority, we are winners! I expect better!" Stephanie would say, as she would then move onto Bobby Roode. "Bobby, although you helped Abyss in his victory over Kevin Owens, your help was needed the most in the main event, and you let Kevin Owens get the best of you. Better is to be expected, and I WANT... to see improvement." Stephanie would say, looking Bobby Roode in the eyes, as she was very, VERY serious about what she was saying. She would then turn her attention to AJ Styles, who had lost the title to Sting at Summerslam in the main event. "AJ.. Summerslam was supposed to be the night you cemented your legacy in this business, defending the CWF Championship proudly while also putting away someone who's been a thorn in my husband and I's side for years, with that being Sting.. and the biggest failure of the night... goes to you. So what's it going to be AJ? what are you going to do?" Stephanie would stand, as she would wait for AJ's response.

After listening to all that Stephanie had to say, AJ Styles would then request a microphone, as he would then begin to speak once it was his turn, still respecting Stephanie McMahon despite her trying to put him down. "Listen, Stephanie, at Summerslam, I did my best. I gave it my all. But trust me, I can fix things! The CWF Championship WILL .. be back in our grasp. STING!! I know you're back there, boy! so why don't you do us all a favor, save the introductions, look for yer' bat if ya' have to and come on out to this ring!" AJ Styles would say, as he would wait for Sting.

After AJ Styles called him out, there was a pause before the sound of Stings theme would play to a pop from the audience, as the lights flashed and eventually, STING walked out from backstage with the CWF Championship over his shoulder, walking out but stopping at the top of the entrance ramp, pointing to the crowd with both hands in signature fashion before his theme closes and the lights return to normal, Sting knowing better than to walk down and enter the ring full of the Authority, he stands at the top of the ramp, but doesnt speak as AK called him out, he waits for what AJs explanation for calling him out is!

"Sting, you know, I had my doubts on you when I first entered the business with you.. but now I see how nice of a guy you are keeping MY! championship title warm. You've had it long enough buddy, because I want my rematch for it.. TONIGHT!" The crowd would begin to cheer. Although they did not like AJ Styles (but respected him), the match him and Sting had at Summerslam was spectacular and the audience was ready for a part 2. AJ waits for a response.

Sting would respond to AJs demand after listening to him. "You know AJ, you dont have an OUNCE of respect in you. Not before facing me and definitely not after. You see, I am a fighting champion, I've proved that my entire career, but I'm a fighting champion who puts his championship on the line against men who DESERVE the shot! And yes while you and me had a classic match at Summerslam, and despite the help you received from those NINCOMPOOPS you've mistakenly aligned yourself with in the ring with you, that match ended with you TAPPING OUT and losing the CWF Chanpionship to me. So no AJ, you dont deserve a shot at me, at least you dont deserve the first shot at me, but I will tell you who does. The man who deserves a shot against me is the same man who on the last episode of WAR beat you in the middle of this ring when you were still the champion, and the man who respectfully came down to the ring and took out that help you needed during our match in the Authority, and this man has never gotten ANY real chance at a title and he deserves it a lot more then you AJ, and that's.... Kevin Owens!" The audience would POP after hearing Sting bring up Kevin Owens name!

Kevin Owens theme would play in the area to a big applause from the crowd, and after a few moments, he makes his way out from backstage and has a microphone in hand, as he walks towards the current CWF Champion, Sting, HIGHLY respecting his words, and agreeing with him as he stands next to him at the top of the ramp and his theme fades out as now the two of them look at the Authority from the top of the ramp!!

"PRETTY BOLD words coming out of your mouth there, Sting. But may I remind you ALL who runs things around here, and that's.. me." The crowd would begin to boo, and would shortly settle down to let Stephanie continue on. "Kevin Owens, you WILL get your opportunity for the championship tonight." The crowd would once again begin to cheer and be loud about it. Stephanie would then continue to speak. "Let's tweak the rules a bit on that however... it will be a regular, one fall match. A standard exhibition, however, there will be no count outs. Tear each other apart physically and mentally if you have to!" Stephanie would finish speaking, hoping she had did something there but it seemed the fans would have enjoyed the match they were getting tonight in the main event...
