The bell would ring right after AJ Styles tapped out to the Scorpion Deathlock, and Sting let's go of the submission and stands up, with his theme playing and getting big cheers from the audience, but actually mixed in with some boos as well as some fans wanted AJ Styles to win and for the veteran to put him over. He had his arm raised in victory and for tbe very first time in his successful career, he is handed the CWF Championship by the hurting referee who took a big bump earlier in the match to set up the interference from the authority and the save from Kevin Owens, all leading to Sting capturing the CWF Championship for the first time, after holding the CWF world Heavyweight championship 4 times, and numerous titles in other promotions. He walks with his new title to a corner and stands on the middle rope holding it up to a big reaction from the audience, and he yells out WOO! Before getting down and walking to another corner and raising the CWF Championship. He gets down and paces around with his new title, before looking over at AJ Styles and nodding his head, knowing AJ will get back into the title picture in a short amount of time due to the talent he has, but for now it was Sting who was at the top of the mountain in CWF, as he gets out of the ring and starts high fiving fans, all around the ring, letting them pat his new title, as Sting was pretty emotional knowing he finally clinched that final accomplishment in his career, which is what the commentators were specifying. He keeps high fiving fans until he makes it to the top of the ramp, turning towards the audience and raising the CWF Championship, as the historic Pay Per View of CWF Summerslam 2020 comes to a close with Sting as the new CWF Champion.
