•* Where were you when the siren released the information on the night of October 20th?
Arianna was at home drinking a glass of cheap red wine and a frozen pizza when 'The Siren' came across her television. At first she thought it was some stupid prank one of the local channels was pulling, until she realized it wasn't.

        •* Current Residence:
            Orlando, Florida

•* Thoughts on being a GS and what 'The Siren' said:
As the information was being relayed to her, Arianna found herself almost in a trance like state. What 'The Siren' was saying sounded like something out of a science fiction novel, not something that was happening within her government. When the list of names flew across the screen and she could have sworn she saw her name before the television returned to her murder mystery.

She quickly got her cell phone out and reviewed the multiple screenshots media outlets were able to obtain. Right there, in front of her, was her name and the dreaded diagnosis. Her first thought was, "Why?" Why had she been spared of this crippling neurological condition but her mother hadn't been? Her second thought was, "I need answers." If that meant going to this Dr. Ludecky, meeting with the very person she was being warned about, she sure as hell was going - for her mother.

        •* Personality:
In her relatively short life Arianna has been described as many things, but the most consistent adjectives she had heard (and agreed with) were hardworking, stubborn, blunt, confident, empathetic, and family oriented. There were also some rather unflattering words she had heard people use to describe her, but she tried to not let that get to her. For her job she need to have empathy, but she also had to be brutally honest when necessary. She did not get to where she is in life by laying down and taking it, instead she put on her armor and fought like hell.

        •* Brief Bio:
Arianna had a relatively normal childhood. She is the only child that Joanna Moore and Charles Moore had, and for the first 9ish years of her life she loved every moment. Then came the first major hurdle of her life, her father's affair. At the time she was too young to understand what her father had done, but after hours of yelling between her parents she gathered that it was not a good thing,

Shortly after her mother found out about the affair she divorced Arianna's father and she stayed with her mother. Since day 1 Arianna was a, "mommy's girl." Her mother had been adopted from the foster care system and always wanted a family of her own, so when she had Arianna she made sure she was loved. After her parent's divorce Arianna did not see much of her father, and as she became a teen and understood what he did, well, she was pissed. When he married the woman, Keenan, he had the affair with she just about lost her mind. Her father took in Keenan's two children and loved them. The more he seemed to care for them, the further the wedge between him and Arianna grew.

However, Arianna's mother refused to let her father's actions affect her and had her enrolled in multiple extra curricular activities and busy with school. In high school, Arianna's school offered for her to go as a part time student at the local community college. Her and her mother all about jumped at the chance. Due to her mother being a single mother and working two jobs she wanted to do everything in her power to make her proud. When Arianna was 18 she walked across the stage at her high school graduation and obtained both her high school diploma and AA.

From high school, Arianna went to the University of Central Florida and obtained her degree in human resources, She was lucky enough to get her master's degree many, many, many, student loans later. Arianna interned at UCF's HR department during her masters program and they were kind enough to refer her to a local community college's HR department where she managed to get the job. Her life was going according to plan until her mother became sick a year and a half ago.

It started as a persistent cough and then her mother complaining that she couldn't sleep. With a lot of persuasion from Arianna, her mother went to her primary doctor who referred her to a neurologist that performed a sleep study on her. When he said, "I think I know what it is, but I need a blood test to confirm it," Arianna's heart dropped. A month and a half later her mother was diagnosed with FFI and Arianna's world came crumbling down,

Due to the rapid progression of the illness, her mother's inability to enter REM sleep, and the onslaught of dementia, she was forced to take FMLA to be her caregiver. Arianna was there for every hallucination, every scream, every sleepless night, until it ended. Six and a half months after he mother's diagnosis, ten months since her first symptoms presented, she passed away from the genetic prion disease that ravaged her brain. Her mother's neurologist insisted that Arianna get tested for the illness as well, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Now, only six maybe seven months after mother's death she has learned that she carries the same genetic illness, but it will never affect her. It was like a punch to the gut. She screamed and cried for hours after she found her name on the list. She cursed every God she could think of, but after a lengthy conversation with her father decided that she needed answers. She needed the answers for her, her mother, and all the other families affected by FFI...even if it is dangerous.

•* Where were you when 'The Siren' released the information on the night of October 20th?
Mel was breaking up with her girlfriend in Applebee's when the TVs over the bar switched to The Siren's message.

        •* Current Residence:
            Atlanta, GA

•* Thoughts on being a GS and what 'The Siren' said:

One word: disaster. There is a time and a place for sensitive information like this to be released. That should have been after Dr. Ludeky completed all her research and they had the answers to the questions people will inevitably ask. The Siren might think they're doing something noble, but they're just creating a panic. And on a more personal note, making Mel's life absolute hell for the foreseeable future, so thanks a lot, Siren.

        •* Personality:
Mel sometimes comes off as a bit severe. While what she says is often blunt, sarcastic, and harsh, her sharp gaze has an even worse bite. It might seem like an odd fit for someone working in public relations, but Mel can switch to a more personable facade at the snap of a finger. She used to be more like her work personality, but years of always having to put a positive spin on things and occasionally being the messenger who gets shot have been a hell of a wet blanket.

        •* Brief Bio:
Mel never knew her mother. She was the product of a teen pregnancy, and her mother died in a car crash before Mel's second birthday. Her dad started out as a regular mechanic before he eventually opened his own shop. Thanks to Mel's nose for networking, she was able to get him in touch with some of the regional sponsors of the Hilton Head Concourse d'Elegance. Even though her dad's primary clientele became those with enough disposable income to afford several antique cars in need of reliable maintenance, he never forgot his humble beginnings.

He raised Mel to have a similar perspective. She managed to get into UGA, thanks to one hell of an admissions essay and multiple scholarship applications. Even though she worked hard to earn her degree in communications and landed an impressive first job doing PR for their football team, she never bought into the whole luxury lifestyle some of their players aspired to. Whatever's on sale at the department store is just fine for her.

A friend of a friend hooked her up with an opening at the CDC in Atlanta, where she had a crash course in medical and technical communications. It was a lot more interesting than sports, at least, and felt a hundred times more fulfilling. It wasn't until she did a variety of preventative tests to get a discount on her health insurance that she found out she carried the right gene mutation for fatal familial insomnia.

After The Siren's message went live and the leaked list of names revealed she would never suffer from the illness, Mel volunteered to help Dr. Ludecky do damage control. Having her confidential medical information suddenly made public was bad enough, but Mel was able to look past that and use it to get herself in with the research team.

•* Where were you when 'The Siren' released the information on the night of October 20th?
Evelyn was at home getting her son ready for bed when 'The Siren' released the information to North America. She heard her phone go off and at first thought it was a text from work. However, when she heard the distorted voice discussing her work she shooed her son to his play room and grabbed her phone. As she watched the mystery person divulge her and her father's work a slew of explicit terms escaped her. Then, when she saw the list of names she came very close to throwing her phone across the room. Once the stream was over she was immediately calling and texting the people on her team. Evelyn was many things, bust she was not stupid. The only people that knew about her work were people among her own team.

        •* Current Residence:
            Bethesda, Maryland

•* Thoughts on the GS's and what 'The Siren' said?
Evelyn feels that eradicating genetic illnesses is the next big step in modern medicine, and that the best why to solve this mystery is through the GS's. She is very much aware that there are many people that do not agree with the ethics of her work, but because she has the backing of such prominent scientific communities she feels that this is something she needs to see through until the end. Her ultimate goal is to create a healthier and happier future for her child and everyone else. However, with 'The Siren' leaking such confidential information Evelyn is aware that all eyes are on her and wondering what her next step will be. Her goal at this time is to speak to the GS's and to find the snitch among her team.

        •* Personality:
Oh my, where would someone even start to describe Evelyn's personality? Just like most people she has multiple positive and negative attributes. Evelyn agrees that she is a natural born leader, intelligent, and extremely driven, However, one thing people never have seemed to acknowledge is that she is quite maternal. She is very protective, verging on motherly, of her job, her project with the Genetic Superheros, and her own child. Critics of her had stated that she is cold, calculated, and, "possible sociopath." Evelyn rolled her eyes when she read that description of herself for the first time. Some people were just too dramatic. Even though she does not consider herself cold or calculated either, she understands those arguments better. The work she is doing is highly controversial and divisive in the science community, and sometimes to get stuff done she needed to turn off her emotions and be a scientist.

        •* Brief Bio:
Evelyn is the second child of Dr. Christopher Ludecky and his wife, Marissa Ludecky. Her older brother David and her never really got on, so she does not consider him a pertinent person in her life. However, Evelyn had always been close with her father. As a child she did not fully understand his job and the importance of his work, but she knew that her mother was lonely without her father home. Her mother never turned to alcoholism or pills to deal with her loneliness, but in hindsight Evelyn realizes her mother had high functioning depression.

Evelyn was never truly interested in genetics until one day when she was seven and her parents sat her down and informed her that her best friend, Marnie, had cystic fibrosis. Being so young Evelyn did not understand why her friend would be gone from school for weeks at a time. Or why she took the medication she did, or why she had to wear a vest that made her jump around like a Mexican jumping bean. Once her father explained that it was a genetic illness and something that his job was working on eradicating her interest was piqued.

All through school Evelyn had one goal, and that goal was to be like her father. It wasn't until her senior year of high school that she fully understood the magnitude of her father's job and what his dream was for the world. While she could find a million articles online that discredited her father's work, she could find none within her own moral compass. During all of that Marnie was becoming worse. Every few months she was back in the hospital on IV antibiotics trying to clear out whatever her lungs were colonizing.

Straight out of high school Evelyn was accepted at Duke University, and during her first few years at college she discovered that she did not have any sexual attraction towards men. At first she considered herself broken, but after much self reflection and research she realized that she identified as asexual. She still craved for a connection with a man, but just not in a sexual manner. Before Evelyn went off to John Hopkin's University to complete her doctorate and to begin her work in their genetics department, Marnie died from complications from her second double lung transplant. While heartbroken over the loss of her best friend, this made Evelyn want to follow in her father's footsteps even more.

The work that Evelyn did was hard. It was taxing and exhausting, but it was something that she was proud of. In the end her work even made her father proud who passed away at the age of 93 from old age. Still, there was this empty hole in Evelyn's life and she couldn't figure out what it was until her brother's wife have birth to twin girls. It struck Evelyn like a bolt of lightning, she wanted a child. At the age of 37 she had resigned herself to the fact that she was married to her job, but IVF offered her the chance to have a family of her own. After one round of IVF Evelyn found herself pregnant and nine months later she was holding a little boy that she named Kieran Christopher Ludeky.

Now that Evelyn has been the project leader for the Genetic Superheros Project for almost a decade with a rambunctious 4 year old at home she was positive that she was living her dream. That was until 'The Siren' came along. Now, Evelyn finds herself in a complicated situation. She needs to speak candidly with the GS's, but not scare them off. She also has to find the wannabe Edward Snowden on her team that has threatening to dismantle everything that her family has worked to achieve.

•* Where were you when 'The Siren' released the information on the night of October 20th?
At a friends house catching up with said friend; didn't actually find out until the next morning.

        •* Current Residence:
            Aspen, Colorado

•* Thoughts on being a GS and what 'The Siren' said:
She's not doing too great with this information considering it just made her entire life implode. With this revelation she didn't only find out she had a horrible genetic disease, but it has left her with many more questions than just why she was lucky to have not been affected by it.

        •* Personality:
Jenna has a very bubbly personality. She can get along with just about anyone she meets and has never had a hard time making friends both in school and even after school. Overall she's a pretty approachable person. Now that's not to say that she doesn't have limits and gets meek about putting her foot down. It's quite the opposite if she's had enough she'll flat out tell you. Despite being friendly to all she tends to keep most people at arm's length only letting very few into her personal circle.

        •* Brief Bio:
Jenna is the oldest child of two, she has a younger brother only about a year and a half younger than her. Neither she nor her brother were ever starved of attention. They were loved equally and never wanted for much. Jenna was a little closer with her father than her mother but all in all, there was nothing abnormal about her life. She grew up well and made a number of friends growing up, one such friend she met early on into her childhood and still is quite close to that friend despite their drastically different lives. They keep in touch as they can. Throughout school, she did tend to mingle with all crowds but found herself in with the popular crowd most often.

Even being as social as she was back then she excelled in her school work as well, going on to be the valedictorian of her class. After high school, she went to an out of state college where she met her future husband. They married the summer after her junior year in college, graduating the next year together. She majored in English and she and her husband moved back to her home town after that, she quickly found a teaching job at her former middle school. Things were not totally sunshine and rainbows after that. Jenna and her husband soon realized they may have gotten married too quickly. They tried to save their marriage but six months ago finally agreed that they were just not as compatible with each other as they had thought or even hoped for. The two divorced but are still on good terms with each other.

The night The Siren made their appearance Jenna had been at her best friend's house catching each other up, on their lives. They were just gossiping and so there was no tv or any other device in their hands to distract from their conversation when she got an odd text from her mother. Telling her to come by their place in the morning there was something they needed to talk to her about. The message alone had been worrisome, her parents were never ominous. The following morning she went to her parents' house, they sat her down and she was fully prepared for them to drop it on her that one of them was sick. She wasn't prepared for the bombshells they actually dropped on her. She was adopted. The two people she had grown up calling her parents were not her biological parents. Before she could really process that they handed her the original birth certificate and all the legal documentation proving her adoption. Along with the birth certificate and paperwork, they showed her a screenshot of the list that had been released by The Siren the night before. Among the names sat her own next to it was a genetic illness, Tay-Sachs.

After the whammy from her parents, Jenna was numb for a few days. There was a lot for her to take in. Part of her was furious, but she was mostly curious. She craved answers beyond just who her biological parents are. So, she took up the offer to go to D.C. and get some answers, ones that were at least being offered.

•* Where were you when 'The Siren' released the information on the night of October 20th?
Gilbert was at home gathering the work he had taken home with him that day so that he could bring it back into work with him the next day. He had the tv on for white noise to fill the silence since he was not doing anything but getting ready for the next day.

        •* Current Residence:
            Bethesda, Maryland

•* Thoughts on the GS's and what 'The Siren' said?
He would be lying if he said he wasn't eager to meet and potentially work with the GS's. Gil hopes that if he can actually look at their genetics under a microscope they may be able to reach the next step in the project, if nothing else he might be able to find a temporary fix for them to allow for more time that the project as a whole needs. He too if upset by The Siren's actions thinking that they acted without giving thought to exactly what they were doing. Because of the sensitive information released around the project, it's pretty clear that it is someone aware and in contact with the project and personnel. He wished to see The Siren receive well-deserved justice.

        •* Personality:
Gilbert is highly intelligent, given his line of work, it makes sense. He does have a bit of a shy air to him as far as most introductions are concerned, however, he is not actually shy. He is merely an observer more than a conversationalist. As much as he tries to hide it Gil does still have a bit of a residual inferiority complex stemming from his upbringing from within a household with a horribly ill child, a normal child, and then himself. He is not quick to anger but he is a little quick to get jealous in some situations as well. Overall he's a pretty personable person, but will, at times hyperfocus on his work getting so bad sometimes he forgets to eat.

        •* Brief Bio:
Gil was born a Savior sibling. He is the youngest of three and shouldn't, probably wouldn't have even been born if not for his parent's desperation. His older brother, the eldest of the three, was born with Diamond-Blackfan Anemia. The option was presented to his parents that they could try and find a donor or do what some viewed as unethical and create a child to help their eldest through transfusions and if necessary Bone Marrow transplant. His parents tried their luck naturally and that was a result in Gil's older sister who was not a match to their brother. With it seeming like the last option they worked with doctors to find a genetic match for their son. The result of that would become Gil.

Due to the nature of his life, Gilbert didn't grow up much similar to how he saw his sister grow up. He spent a lot of time in doctors' offices and hospitals for most of his childhood. As he got older and his brother stopped responding to the treatments, taking up more of their parent's attention, Gil began to resent his siblings. Things began to get a little better after Gil had to give bone marrow to help his brother to get better. He still wasn't allowed to do everything his sister and other kids his age did, but at least he didn't feel like a living vending machine as much.

Then came high school. Gil got a better grasp of what his life really meant the more he dug into science. Not only was he special, but he was also genetically modified to have the same genetics exactly like his brother, just without the anemia. The more he did his own personal research into what he was as a Savior sibling, Gil realized he wanted to be able to help more people than just his brother. He was more than just a genetic vending machine. He could apply himself to his studies and become someone that could help more families like the doctors and scientists that had helped his parents.

He did just that. He graduated high school and was off to college majoring in genetic engineering. Which he did eventually achieve with many many long nights and thesis papers being written and rewritten. Nothing made him feel more accomplished than walking across that University stage to get his degree when he finally graduated. It was through dumb luck and a few connections he had made during his college years that led him to Dr. Ludeky and her work on the Genetic Superhero Project. He offered his skills, to the doctor and even informed her of his own personal history hoping that it would show his genuine desire to help her in any way he could.

Gil has only been fortunate to work with the doctor for a little more than a year, but he was deeply upset by The Siren's actions. On top of the legal issues that it could create it put the entire project in the spotlight before it was ready, potentially destroying all the work that had gone into it thus far.

Simon was asleep in his car.

        •* Current Residence:
            Washington, D.C.

•* Thoughts on being a GS and what 'The Siren' said:
Simon's not sure what to think. On the one hand, what's the big deal about having a disease that won't hurt him? On the other hand, the warning was creepy. Something had to be going on, but he still didn't see any reason to be worried.

        •* Personality:
Simon might be mistaken as easy-going and lighthearted, but he's no stranger to hardship. He just doesn't see the use in bringing everyone down with a bad attitude when things are bad enough.

        •* Brief Bio:
Simon nearly dropped out of high school to focus on work, but his parents insisted that he see it through. Once he got his diploma, the auto body shop he worked for laid him off. He shared an apartment with his parents, two brothers, and sister until his parents became too old to work. Simon and his siblings all contribute to paying for their parents' assisted living facility expenses.

Unfortunately, since Simon keeps bouncing between jobs, his siblings have had to cover his share of the bills from time to time. Even when he has a job or three, he lives out of his car so he doesn't have to pay rent.

When the Siren's announcement came out, Simon didn't even know about it until a few days later when he went to see his sister. Being a nurse, she was more outraged on Simon's behalf about his information being made public, but Simon saw no harm in it. It wasn't as if anyone was banging on his car window to ask him about it. His only interest in meeting with Dr. Ludeky was to see if there would be any sort of financial compensation for working with her team.
