Mahpiya had returned form the great tree in awe and wonder. She had been gifted a gift that she had never even heard of. "Spectrum." She said the gift name out loud trying to give life to the name and maybe have it reveal its mystery's to him. Nothing happened though. With a loud sigh, Mahpiya kicked a rock with her hoof in disappointment. Her gift did not seem very cool to her. I did not even react when she wanted it too. With no real destination in mind Mahpiya wandered through the Homewood sulking.
The ground began to change beneath her hoofs but she did not pay and mind to it, still lost in her own pity party. It was not until she stumbled over a skeletal of a sliver tree that she even looked up. "Oh ha what's the..." Her eyes bug out at the sight before her. Frozen in place her pity party long forgotten she stairs at the massive Other structure that she had never seen in the Homewoods before or anywhere else. "Where am I?" she looked around with worry and fear bubbling up.
"You my dear would be in the newish of places." An elegant but strong voice said form behind Mahpiya. Jumping up and spinning around Mahpiya searched for the voice with a racing heart. "Who.. Whos there?" she said in a breathless wonder. Form out of the bushes hopped out a white faced black bodied jack hop that had amazing fawn spot markings. If she had not been sacred out of her mind, Mahpiya might have told the jack hop as much.
"Hello my name is Molly Moon but most just all me Molly." The jack hop had a claim and peaceful voice and Mahpiya knew she was going to like her instantly. Even though they had completely opposite personalities. "Oh Hello Molly." Mahpiya skipped happily totally forgetting her fear form earlier. "My name is Mahpiya. So what brings you out here or...or are you form her?" She asked in growing excitement and wonder.
Molly watch calmly with as smile at the excited doe. She thought the Mahpiya was cute, a little bouncy but cute. "Oh no i am from the Homewoods but I saw this place and the sliver trees and wanted to check it out. What about you?" Mahpiya giggled at Molly the jack hop was just so sweet and soft spoken. "Same. Though I kind of happened upon the place lost in thoughts." Skipping happily around Mahpiya looked back at the other stretcher.
"So what do you say, you want to go look around with me?" This doe was all over the place Molly though but it was ok because Molly was very calm. "Maybe the Great Tree brought use together so I can grounded this beautiful doe." Molly thought to herself while Mahpiya skipped around. "I think that would be a very safe and nice idea." "Yay!" Mahpiya squeaked. "Would you like a ride down?" Mahpiya offered and Molly simple nodded, if for no other reason then she thought it would get the doe to stop skipping, she was wrong of course.
Mahpiya made it safely down the hill in record time. Molly was sure she looked wind blown and rough around the edges. Some how Mahpiya had managed to skip the whole way down in a graceful way but still a little faster then Molly was used to. "I think I am going to be sick." Molly said before she could stop herself. "Oh no is something wrong? Her lets go over by the water and maybe you can have drink." Mahpiya did not wait for a reply and skipped over to the water. Laying down so Molly did not have to hop so far down Mahpiya clearly had no idea that she had caused Molly to be sick and Mahpiya clearly cared for others she was just a little spacy.
Hopping down Molly moved to the water and smelled it. It did not smell contaminated so she dipped her muzzle in and took a drink. The cool water was nice and did help with the sick feeling. Something pink floats past Mollys noses. "What the..?" She said drawing Mahpiya's attention "Oh look it is a pink feather I wonder where that came from." They both looked up and then down the river but saw nothing that would given an idea as to were it had come from. Picking it up out of the water Mahpiya tucked it in her hair. "Pretty right?" she said as she showed off the feather.
Before Molly could answer a loud tariffing cry ripped through the air. Fear raced through both of them and they knew it was time to go. "I...I think we should get out of here ."Molly nodded and hopped back up onto Mahpiya's back complete forgetting this ride would make her sick again and only waiting to be away from this place as fast as they could get. Mahpiya did not wait for the go and tour off at dead run. It was not long before they had reached the Homewoods again and Mahpiya knew she needed to find her brother and father to let them know about this new. " I need to find my Papa and Bro. Would like to come?" Molly nodded that she would and with that she set off in search form them.
