Personality ● Soren is a bit on a conundrum to people. His normal attitude is one of a relaxed man with no weight upon his shoulders, smiling, laughing and working hard. But as many have said before; the saddest people smile the brightest. Soren often times will find himself in a depressive episode, everything making him sad, he wanting to distance himself from others. As he grew, people understood this was the effect of losing most of his family at such a young age. But now, he tries to push past the feeling and move on, wanting to live in the present... not the past.

Strengths
● Blacksmith: Soren was taught at a young age to work with the blacksmiths in order to make his own weapons, now after years of practice; he can shape just about any metal he finds.
● Arm Wrestling: He enjoys a good old fashioned arm wrestle... even though he knows he wins because of who he is he encourages his opponent to give their all.
● Making Friends: Cheesy as it may sound, Soren puts on a decent act when making friends, often bending truths or telling them what they want to know in order to get them on his side..
Weaknesses
● His Family: Often called a weak King for how much care he gives his family; he ignores them completely and will do anything for his family.
● Sun Burns: He can spend hours on end in the sun without issue... as long as he is mostly covered. If not, he will burn with ease.
● Gardening: He is officially banned from any type of gardening or planting as they say his touch kills the plants...

Biography
● Soren was the third son and had no intention of ever taking the throne. He had been born as simple the one his mother wanted to coddle and his father was not focused on. He had lived like that the first six years of his life, spending his time with his cousin, Heloise, the two joined at the hip. One evening after catching a chill, he and Heloise had been forced to stay home with a nurse maid while his parents and older brothers went to visit the town, planning to spend the day working. The day had gone smoothly until a guard came to the castle informing them of a terrible accident that had befalled most of the royal family. His father, mother, and one of his brothers were fatally wounded in a rock side near the cliffs coming home. His oldest brother had been seriously injured, deemed a vegetable by the royal medics when he had been looked over. The eldest brother, unfit to rule got passed over for the crown and the crown was placed upon Soren's head.
Growing up, he and Heloise had always been close and she was his most trusted advisor. Shortly after his coronation when he was eightteen, Soren was approached by an Estherel Advisor and an Advisor of Ishgar. His guests, the Prince of Ishgar and the Crown Prince of Estherel had both taken a liking to Heloise; both wishing to court her. Giving permission as their kingdom was not against multiple relations, Soren allowed Heloise and the Princes to form a relationship. After a year, she decided to marry the Prince of Ishgar, bearing a daughter within the first year. Soren was ecstatic, planning to have her visit when she was well enough to do so when he learned of her untimely death. Having been told illness was what took her; Soren wanted to bury her with the rest of his family. After a bit of persuading; she was allowed to come home to her finally resting in the crypt beneath the castle.
A few months after the death of Heloise, he met a young woman from a small lost kingdom. He took a liking to her and within a month; they were wed. They took their relationship slow, having rushed into the marriage so she would not have to wed someone else. Just after celebrating his twenty first year, his wife revealed she was in fact pregnant with their first child. Beyond happy and excited to be a father, he had everything done the best it could be. When his son entered the world and his daughter a few short years after, the King and Queen continued trying to have a child until they found themselves unsuccessful.
Now; Soren wishes to bring piece to the three kingdoms once more. But many have speculated that isn't entirely true...
