sad
Sorry to hear that. It must be incredibly frustrating to being so close to coming home and having it delayed. I hope that your delay isn't much longer and you manage to get a flight home soon.
Profanity completely understandable.

Well, since this is a "rant thread", I guess I can rant about myself, right . . . I have to be one of the stupidest people alive! I don't drink coffee very often, but I make coffee for Patrick everyday that he's home. The one time I go to make coffee for myself, I forget to put the top on the coffee pot, wait an hour to find out that I backed coffee water (because it's not real coffee) and grinds into the water well thing, after I had cleaned the coffee maker. I waited an hour on coffee, then I had to spend another 30 minures recleaning the coffee maker because I'm an idiot! The coffee is brewing properly right this second (finally) but I'm still so out of it that I really doubt this post will make any sense! I'm not this stupid!

Alright, for the past couple of dayss now I've been arguing with some typical leftist. The argument was about Bush's possible "impeachment." We got onto the subjet of the invasion of Iraq, mostly the reasons for why we went. I said that we had every reason to go, what with the possible WMD's and stuff.
He retorts with the Downing Street Memos as his "evidence" of Bush not having/needing a reason.
Okay, my first bit of ranting: if these documents are actually true, then how come no one else has proven the existence of these documents? Also, journalists have a tendancy to write things that they want to be true. My dad, who was a former journalist, did the same thing a while ago. He told me a little story of how he did the same thing, because it sounded crazy, so he published it. In other words, unless its existence is proven, the DSM is a load of leftist malarkey.
Number two: it's argued that we had no reason to go to Iraq because there were no WMD's located there. Do any members of the left realize how easily we could've planted any NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) weaponry there and said, "Hey look! We found some WMD's!" One simply has to look back in history at Hussein and his regime, and they can find a plethora of reasons why we had to return. At some point I'm going to find Bush's speech that he gave to the UN before we invaded Iraq. He gives plenty of reasons why we had to go.
There. I'm done now.

I'm sick of hearing about how "dangerous" nuclear power is. They just had to shutdown and decommission the Trojan Nuclear Plant here in Oregon. While the demolition was cool to watch, I already miss seeing the cooling tower. It was a landmark to me as well as quite a few other people.
And to add insult to injury, all the liberal environmentalists who have been working since the plant's construction to have it shut down built their own scale model of the tower, which they demolished in synch with the actual demolition.
Does anyone know if the Department of Homeland Security would press charges if I tried to grab myself a piece of concrete from the cooling tower rubble? It's not radioactive, and it's just being left there. The only real concern I have is that the radioactive components, such as the control rods, are all stored on-site locked and guarded, and with the Lawrence Livermore Nuclear Research Laboratory in Livermore, CA, upgrading it's defensive arsenal to GE M-134 miniguns, I don't want any trouble.

Maleus_Stapes Screw Welfare, because its screws tax payers over. Welfare is actually a good thing; if used reasonably. There is alot of people on Welfare who don't have to be.
