Personality: Growing up had been rough on the young girl. Dealing with the reality of what being a jinchūriki meant, the negative emotions that surrounded her everyday, and being a student with the pressure of studies. Her mother and father had helped her through it all, to understand that she shouldn't isolate herself, even if she ended up doing it unintentionally. Though it was under self preservation, to ensure she would not fall prey to the negative emotions of her peers or those round her. Strength, Knowledge, and love; learning about these things, even if it were just the basic understanding it would aid her to becoming a great ninja. Not that she was looking to be a legend or to be Hokage. She wanted to protect the village and those around her from what ever she could. Balance in everything, her parents had it, she saw it in them everyday. It was these same qualities that the ninja at the summoning ritual had... The same qualities that Gramps Konjito had. Kannia aspires to have those same qualities, even if it will take her a lifetime to achieve it. XXXXXIn the Academy, it was often described that Kannia was quite, cold, and calculating. Her aversion to getting close to her peers, may attest to why she is seen as cold. Though from time to time, it is easy to catch her off guard staring off into space lost in thought. It was late in her Academy time, that she tried to reach out, to be more open to others... though she felt the damage was already done, she hopes that being with a squad will be able to help her with her anxiety towards other people, and suppressing the negative emotions that just linger around everyone. XXXXXThough once you break through the shell of nerves, you will find that the young girl is driven to helping the village and those who call it home. Often stopping her lessons or studies to be able to help someone carry groceries in. To hang out with the elderly at the hospital to give them someone to talk to while their family is away. XXXXXIn the face of combat, she sheds all nerves about being around people. Her focus is to make sure everyone gets home in one piece. Honing in on the battlefield and all it's moving pieces, trying to track the movements before they even happen. Though the only real opponent she has ever faced was her father and mother. She doesn't count the sparing matches in the Academy, since her parents didn't hold back during combat training... XXXXXThe Nine-Tails... thing are... quiet. He is no longer snarling and growling at her from the darkness of her mind. Though they are not exactly speaking to one another. The main agreement between the two of them, they want to stay alive. He still would like to be out in the fresh air feeling the wind in his fur, but Kannia had made a promise to her parents and the Hokage. So they are on shaky grounds currently, but Kannia feels there is some progress being made. . . Hopefully. XXXXXIn the terms of friends, during combat she is set on making sure everyone she knows walks away from the fight if she has the power to do so. Kannia likes to see her friends happy, if they are sad she wants to find out why. If someone is being a total a** hat to one of them, she will make her opinion known and stand up for them… even if she is shorter than the other person. She keeps Kyubi a secret to them, afraid of what they may think or say about her if they knew. The only person she’s told is their Jounin Captain, for the event of her possibly losing control. She doesn’t want to hurt anyone she has ties to.
XXXXXSummary: Kannia is a kind hearted individual who wishes to help those that she can in some way. She likes to get lost in her own thoughts or studies. She has a can read a battle field in basic terms and try to calculate how she should act in the current situation and how she will counter. She keeps Kyubi a secret from her friends. She tries to keep her emotions controlled, so not to allow the Nine-tails to exploit the weakness.

This is a basic technique that every shinobi can use. In fact, Konohagakure's Ninja Academy prevents students from graduating unless they master this technique, for which reason Naruto Uzumaki failed three years in a row. For this technique, users create one or more afterimages of themselves to move alongside them. Unlike most other clone techniques, these afterimages have no substance and thus are incapable of damaging opponents. Because of this, it is only useful for confusing enemies while other attacks are prepared. Opponents can identify clones from their original through careful observation, as clones won't cast shadows, crush grass, kick up dust, etc. (This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).
-- Transformation Technique [E Rank]
This technique is most often used to disguise the user as another person, but they can also turn into an animal, plant, or inanimate object. Users will gain the attributes and physical features of whatever they transform into, such as a weapon's sharpness or an animal's fangs(This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).
-- Body Replacement Technique [E Rank]
The instant before they are to be struck by an attack, the user replaces themselves with a block of wood or something similar. Because the attack does hit something, opponents may briefly believe that they've successfully struck the user. But this is merely an optical illusion and opponents will quickly notice what's happened(This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).
-- Water Surface Walking Practice[E Rank]
This training method is used to gain better chakra control. To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of the their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. This technique is more difficult to master than the Tree Climbing Practice, because the amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly(This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).
-- Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing] [E]
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
-- Manipulate Shuriken Technique [Soushuriken no Jutsu] [D]
Soushuriken no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used Uchiha Sasuke. After hurling his giant shuriken, Sasuke can control their path and movements by using wires which run from the shuriken itself back to his arm. Because his opponent will think they are normal shuriken, they will be off guard about their ability to redirect themselves.
-- Ayametori [ Murderous Grasp ] [C]
This jutsu uses a metal string strengthened with chakra to make a thread capable of constricting a target and cutting through steel with little difficulty. The user can also use the wire to form complex string figure design with his hands, and launch the figure from the string as a powerful cutting attack.

Raiton No.: 2
-- Denkyuu [Light bulb] [d]
After performing the needed hand seals, a ball of light, about the size of a baseball, will appear in the hand of the user. This would allow them to see better when traveling around at night. It will wear away after five minutes of use.
The user guides his Raiton chakra to settle a small amount of chakra at the tip or tips of a wielded electricity-conducting weapon. The chakra causes that area to glow with a yellow gleam and leave a trail of yellow light as it moves through the air. That tip will cause a very mild electrostatic shock to skin other than the user's that comes in contact with it. This does not require the use of handseals

-- Name: Kurama -- Personality: Kyūbi represents a true demon bargaining with its host, attempting to trick them into allowing him into the real world. Kyūbi knows its own chakra's strength, and attacks mainly by standing still and releasing powerful jutsu's. Kyūbi is malevolent, violent, and a threatening beast, but is quick to give help when it means saving it's own tails. Naruto showing him the true meaning of the word friend, Kurama is now more accepting of his host and is willing to be a little bit more helpful however he still wants his freedom so he does want to get out of the host. he will still try and trick the host to trying to let him out.
After entering his new host he had been furious that she cowered from him and saw him as a thing of her nightmare. As years progressed he started to see her more and more. When he saw her he would lash out, try to get out of his binds. But through time the girl fear in the girls eyes began to dull. It wasn't until the host was twelve that she had came to him and sat down outside the bars just staring at him. She heard him speak... demand to be let out. And she had apologized. Something he hadn't heard in quite some time from a human. Kurama had sat with the girl all night staring right back at her, trying to figure out just what she was putting together in that tiny head of hers. -- Status: Acquaintances, They know of one another. -- Number of Tails: Nine

EARLY YEARS Theme Song:SKILLET - AWAKE AND ALIVE (Metal Cover) by Caleb Hyles and Lollia "Supply a quote from the section here." XXXXXEarly life for Kannia was simple. She had been born into a ninja family, as many had been, Kashi and Mayumi Hatake. As she grew up she would follow her father around like a duckling, she wanted to be a great ninja that would help defend Konoha, just like he was. Her mother is a medical ninja, her father a Jounin that was sent out on scouting missions often. The young girl had heard the story of how her parents met so many times that she could recite it word for word back to her mother. They had been on a team together as young ninja’s as many had been, but went their separate ways once becoming Chunin. Then on a battle field, her mother had been rushing to save a man’s life, Kannia’s father. Which proceeded into an argument of why either of them were there in the first place, a fist fight broke out and then when they returned they got married… yep quite the love story.
XXXXXAround the age of four, Kannia had started to show more and more interest in Ninjutu, spending time looking at her father’s scrolls, mimicking the hand-signs. Her mother had been watching the young girl and put the scrolls away out of the child’s reach before kneeling down and started to help the child hold her form. This had gone on for days when her father was gone on missions. When he returned a week later, Kannia was able to show minimal control over her chakra. The girl had been over joyed to show her father what she could do, that she hadn’t known what possibilities could be unlocked with this early development.
XXXXXUnbeknownst to the young girl, and many others in Konoha was that the new vassal of Kyubi, the nine tailed beast needed to be found before the passing of the current host. With the temperament of the ninetails and the tremendous chakra control that would be needed, Kashi believed that Kannia could be a candidate to be the new host for the beast. Mayumi had fought it tooth and nail for over a month before she was called to tend to the current host, until a new one could be found. The threat had been real, while tending to the host it was well known that Kyubi had always wanted to be out and never within a host once more. When Kashi had shown for his shift, Mayumi had said she would agree under one condition; that would not go on long missions any more. That he would be there to teach Kannia control over the tailed-beast and the chakra that would come with it.

THE TRANSFER Theme Song:Rise Up (HYBRID ACAPELLA) - Jared Halley "Supply a quote from the section here." XXXXXIt was three days later that Kannia was brought to the bed side of the host who was close to death. Not knowing why she was there Kannia had walked over to the male and started to talk with him. Having been in hospitals with her mother on rough shifts. Kannia would always talk with patients in her mind, she was taking their pain away. Like when her mom talked to her when treating her wounds to distract her from the pain of the antiseptic. The small girl had talked to the elder about anything and everything while things were being prepared. It was close to the time of the transfer that the man had asked if she knew why she was there. She had shook her head and stated simply, like any four year old would. “I’m here to make you feel better. Like mama does.” The old man had smiled at the girl and apologized. Kannia didn’t know what for but she smiled back at him. After a moment, the old man began to tell her the story of the Sage of Six Paths and the Tailed Beasts.
XXXXXThe night of the transfer was one that the small girl would never forget. The host had been kept in a home a distance from the village, in the event that the transfer failed, the Kyubi would not be able to destroy the city. Some would think that something went wrong with the transfer; that the host may have died before it could begin. Unfortunately the real danger lurked outside the walls of the house.
XXXXXInformation had been leaked that the Kyubi host had been on his death bed and that Konoha was scrabbling for a new host. Once the location of the current host was found, teams were formed to fetch the dying man to gain more power for the village that got there first. As the transfer came to an end Kannia had been drained of energy, sore and disoriented laying on the mat next to the old man, who was able to sit up without help. He still looked weak but he was able to talk without strain. Kannia had sat up slower than the old man and smiled at everyone in the room, when the shouting from outside became apparent to those who had been focused on the jutsu. Mayumi had ushered the old man and Kannia into a cellar under the house. After a short amount of time, the old man had tucked the girl under a bundle of blankets, a noise drawing him further into the basement. For what reason she did not know... but she never heard him return. More time passed, alone in the darkness she began to fidget under the blankets, her mind racing of what could be happening... where the old man had gone... but soon the hatch opened revealing a man bearing the mask of the Konoha Anbu. Kannia was carried outside her face pushed into the Anbu’s chest until they were further into the forest where the small girl’s mother was waiting. She was covered with blood and dirt, with paths painted across her face from the tears that she had shed.
XXXXXThe walk back to the village had been draining. When they arrived, there were several gaining medical treatment, her father being one of them. Though the young girl was unable to see the extent of the damage until the next morning. The wound across his face and the loss of vision in his right eye had been minor compared to others who had lost their lives in the battle. It was a reminder that outside of Land of Fire, that war still raged on. Though for the young girl, her own battles were just beginning. Long nights of the snarling beast behind bars, preventing the girl from getting rest. Four nights after the transfer, four nights that she was unable to sleep, she had been in a daze when she had been at school... It was then that her parents had pulled her for the day and explained what the night had truly been about. About the old man, the Nine-tailed Beast, and the Sage of Six Paths... But what had really sank in for the girl through all of this.. was that the old man had not returned after leaving her near the cellar door. "Mama.... what happened to Gramps Konjito?" she had asked. Though part of her knew the answer... the man had been taken, sacrificing himself in order to throw the scent off of the young girl who had now been made the host of the Nine Tails.

THE ACADEMY Theme Song:DIAMANTE - Haunted "Supply a quote from the section here." XXXXXSoon it was time to enter the Academy, her mother and father had seen her off on her first day. She had been excited, that was until the whispers began to claw at the corner of her mind. Her father had told her that something like this may happen... that she should ignore them and think of something she found fun or pretty. It had been hard at first, with the large amount of voices that seemed to surround her, though as tasks were given out to learn jutsus or a lesson. She had learned to block the whispers and negative feelings, focusing on her goal to be a great ninja. Everyday she would return home from the academy. Her mother would ask how her day had gone, Kannia would respond with what she learned for the day, how other students were acting in class. Though most of the time she left out names, because she didn't really get to know her classmates very well. The negative emotions that lingered in the air, always keeping her from getting close to people. Her mother often scolded her, saying that she should make even just a few friends. Her father would always swoop in though, stating that it was alright for her to focus on her lessons and exams in the beginning.
XXXXXSeveral years later, her father sat down with her at the memorial stone. It had been a long day of training, she felt she was getting used to chakura control and being able to focus it properly, as well as contain it if it ever seemed to be getting out of hand. Exhausted she had sat with her father, he told her the story once again of the Legend the Sage of Six Paths, the Bijuu and of the Will of Fire, and what it was that he was fighting for. He was fighting for a bright future for his daughter, and all the other children in the village. She had heard the story many times when she was younger, though now at the age of eight she understood a lot more of the story, of his motives, of the actions that Gramps Konjito had made the night he swaddled her under the blankets in that basement. She thought back to the nights where she would wander through a cellar, one that she had been to many nights before. The growls and snarls of the beast that lay just beyond the darkness in the next room. That night, as she rode piggy back on her father's back, she promised to try to make friends... even if it were to only make her mother happy.
XXXXXThough that was easier said than done, she had spent years keeping to herself just observing her classmates... Trying to reach out to them had only caused a surge of whispers to claw at the edges once more. Something she had learned to ignore long ago, now resurfacing with her anxiety of trying to make friends. It was after a week of trying, that she defaulted to going to the hospital with her mother after lessons, to converse with those who were there for treatment, something she had done so often as a young girl. The doctors and nurses had been surprised to see her once more, and complimented at how much she had grown. Kannia found herself often with the younger children or elders, helping take their minds off of treatments or shots. As Kannia started to learn jutsus, her mother had encouraged her to try medical ninjutsu, which had back fired... how could you make a dead fish... dead-er..... Her mother had been surprised, though it had seemed Kannia was her father's daughter, she had a knack for ninjutsu and sealing techniques... Her mother had commented that if she had, had a son maybe there would have been a chance that there would be another medic in the family. "But then you wouldn't be able to play with their hair." Kannia had retorted with mock hurt, gaining a laugh from her mother.
XXXXXThe years flew by, studying at the academy, Training with her father, visiting the hospital with her mother. It could be say that she was isolated from her peers, but that was something she would have to overcome with time. The courage to be able to talk to people, and to block out any false negative emotions that may linger. The day of their Primary Nature discovery at the Academy, Kannia had already known what her element would be. She had been training with her father already, it was a family trait after all.. The affinity for Lightning, she was happy that she had the same affinity as her father, though it just meant that she was even further than her mother... Kannia pushed the dark thoughts down into a deep recess of her mind that it had bubbled up from. There was no distance forming between herself and her mother. The final exams were around the corner, now was not the time to fall into the claws of what lurked in the darkness.
XXXXXKannia had felt that she should be anxious or nervous over her final exams, though she wasn't. She had been studying, paying attention to her lessons at the academy, working with her father and mother to ensure she was ready for the last phase of her academy life. She had even practiced her jutsus late into the night, late enough that her mother had come upstairs and told her to go to bed or go run a mile... She always chose the former, as entertaining as it would be to go for a midnight run with her mother... sleep always won. The next morning walking to the academy with her mother had been pleasant until they reached the grounds. Whispers were in the air and it seemed to crawl across Kannia’s skin, the hair on the back of her neck stood up. More than before, even more than her first day at school. Kannia had left her mom’s side quickly and went into the school and straight to the bathrooms without a word. The twelve year old had stood over the sink washing her face trying to shake the slimy feeling over her when another girl had come into the bathroom and asked if she was okay. Kannia had said she was and walked to class with the girl to wait her turn to be called in for the exam.
XXXXXThat day, Kannia had passed the final exam with high marks, when she left the front doors. Her mother and father had stood waiting for the news, she couldn't fake the smile on her face as she ran to give her father a hug. The feeling of sludge that had been weighing her down all day, vanishing as they celebrated her becoming a genin, the first steps to becoming a ninja to protect the village. That night, just as the morning had brought back old memories of her first day at the academy. The young ninja, now found herself in the waterlogged cellar that she had called her nightmare for years. The bricks on the wall more defined, the water cold around her ankles. Everything was more real than ever. The Braziers that lined the large space alight now. The growling now close behind her, and for the first time in years. The silver haired girl turned to face the nine-tailed beast, her eyes dry and her mind free of fear. Staring up at the massive beast behind bars, his vicious maw snapping and growling at her. Though she stood, un-moving, despite everything her telling her to leave down the corridor as she had done many times in the past. Soon everything began to quite, the two stared at each other what seemed like hours before the beast finally spoke. More like a demand actually... Release me. his voice seeming more like a held back snarl. When Kannia did not respond, the words began to echo in to her mind. After a long drawn out sigh Kannia started to sink down to sit in front of the cage, prepared for the tantrum that was sure to follow after her words. “I’m sorry, but I can’t let you out. I promised.” The monster of her nightmares let out a furious roar as the girl hugged her knees and kept staring at him. “But I can keep you company tonight.” She said simply which caused the fox to stare at her once more, the two sat in silence until the alarm went off the next morning.
