Shining Opal felt some sympathy for the female wolfdog. It wasn't that she was different from them, but for the fact she didn't know the area well. He often found himself in those familiar paw steps. Unfortunately he wasn't super familiar with this area either, only that no one had chased him off so far. Judging by how many wanderers were around here now, he would have guessed that a pack didn't hold the area. It was just a guess though.

He smiled for Light Rain's description. Her reasoning made sense. In a way he did belong to the Crystal Caves, even though many wouldn't consider it a suitable place to live. No one chased him out, and he wouldn't chase anyone away who was doing no harm.

The pale colorful male turned his attention to Stone's question. He nodded toward Dark. "She showed up at the Crystal Caves one day. I showed her some of the caverns a little bit." This really was a nice area. "Do you come here often or just passing through?"

Noting Dark pointing her muzzle at him, Opal gave a lolling grin and a slight bow to the females. "Come stop by any time. I'd be happy to show you around."

"Crystal caverns?" Her eyes lit up brightly, she just just imagine them now, like a giant geode for a cave..floor may be a bit rough though.

He lived there? Well certainly the male that Dark Skies referred to certainly looked the part with seer blood and that lovely coat color.
"Anytime? I would love to go see it!"

She had been very wrong, none of these wolves seemed to belong to the same pack. Did they belong to packs at all?

Sometimes, like this, it was just less confusing to be a lone wolf.

She still enjoyed the company though. The ladies were cool and it looked like Shining Opal at least had a sense of humor.

"Why do you live there?" She tilted her head in curiosity.
