Hmm... interesting. I must try it! Unfortunately, I don't have any fighting games other than Final Fantasy X and Xenosaga. May I'll steal one of my brother's games... Splinter Cell anyone?

I tried this yesterday on Soul Caliber III. I got my a** kicked really badly by my girfriend. It didn't help that I don't own Soul Caliber III, but I honestly don't think it would've helped if I did. She's really good at that game.

I tried doing that with Jak and Daxter, solely because I forgot to take out the dance pad when I turned the game on.
I think I got more of a workout doing that then I got with DDR...and as a plus, I found many new and inventive ways to get Jak killed. >___>

Locke103 you'd have to be pretty darn flexable to do a soul charge xd what gets me is how one could perform directional based moves. something simple like sophitia's angel strike. ivy's summon/calamity suffering would be damn impossible. Three words:
Practice with Twister

timstut i never really used the DDR mat that i bought for my little sister, but yeah i got bored last night and took it out to play soul calibar with. it was so tiring but really fun. that was the most i've sweated from playing a game.xD has anyone played with the DDR mat with a game other then DDR? just wanted to know... Yes, I have played Soul Calibur II on a dance pad. It was last year, at my club's video game night. Some people resorted to using their hands to smack the arrows though. 4laugh

Played Halo and Halo 2 on my DDR pad, worked for the most part...minus the fact that you can't shoot your gun, and once you beat someone down in the back, you're stuck staring at the ground till someone kills ya. sweatdrop

I haven't tried it yet, but oh, my gods, would Street Fighter be hard for me, considering I don't usually play as anyone but Chun-Li. I DEPEND upon her Hyakuretsu and Spinning Bird Kick to make it through the game.
