Mourning Dove found that despite being a hunter, she didn't spend a lot of time around other hunters. Her dearest friend, Hidden Away, was a Caretaker. The second companion she held near and dear to her heart was Dusk Owl, the elder oversaw the healers. Ever since she'd approached him at the point meeting, she'd been wanting to speak to him, so she lingered around the other healers, trying to spot him without seeming too nosy.
Stealth was her strength when it came to hunting prey, but when it came to hunting males, her legs became wobbly. Eventually, she sought out one of the healers herself, rather than trying to lurk around their dens in hopes of spotting Dusk Owl.
"F-Forest Shadow!" She called to the passing she-wolf. "Is... Is Dusk Owl around?" She asked her pack mate hopefully.

Forest Shadow shook her head "No I haven't seen him today." She looked Mourning Dove over and frowned "Are you alright?" She thought the female looked too shaky to actually be healthy and depending on what was wrong she might need to be tended by Forest Shadow and the other healers, not to mention Forest Shadow might need to gather more herbs to treat her with. "You should sit down or perhaps I could help you to a stream to drink some water, you look very shakey today." Her tone was gentle but firm she wouldn't accept no for an answer.

Mourning Dove lowered her head when Forest Shadow revealed that she hadn't seen Dusk Owl after all, but when the healer asked if she was alright she nodded. "Yes, I'm just... Well..." She didn't know Forest Shadow very well. How could she explain without stammering that she had come here to ask Dusk Owl about the manner of having pups. Before she could come up with a reply, she was being urged to sit or to follow Forest to a stream. She had never had a wolf take such an interest in her wellbeing before, well not so suddenly anyway and she smiled at the healer.
"I'm just... a little anxious." She admitted. "I've been anxious ever since the Point meeting, but.. Maybe a walk to the stream would ease my mind a bit." She nodded with a small smile. "Yes, I believe that would be just the thing and of course I would love your company, Forest Shadow, though I'm certain I can walk on my own. Shall we go now?" She asked the healer.

Forest Shadow was glad that Mourning Dove was alright, she didn't like seeing anyone upset or distressed it was never good for the health so she planned to do whatever she could to help Mourning Dove. "Well if you would like to tell me what you are worried about I will gladly listen." She said in a soft tone. She walked with Dove to the stream and sat down and waited to see if Dove wanted to talk about her problems. "Unless you would rather I help you find Dusk Owl instead?" She asked she would not be offended that Mourning Dove would prefer to talk to Dusk Owl. She was still rather young for a healer and still had a lot to learn.

Mourning Dove shook her head when Forest Shadow offered to help her find Dusk Owl. "Oh-Oh n-no, that's quite alright." She insisted. "Really, a drink is more than enough. I'm just sorry to put you out to all this trouble." If the healer was taking the time to tend to Dove's needs, small as they were, it must mean that nothing else was horribly pressing or important, right?
Flicking her ears and indicating her head, she started heading off towards their location. "Honestly it's so embarrassing, really." She said softly, for she would be mortified if any one else overheard. Mourning Dove had always tended to keep her private matters, well, private. "I was, um, you see, seeking out Dusk Owl, for, erm, personal affairs." She admitted. "After the Point Meeting, well I'd asked him if he had an interest in, erm... family planning. With me. For the pack." She ducked her head, embarrassed, but kept walking.
"He's such a respectable wolf, as I'm sure you know and I couldn't think fo a better father. And I've been wanting to be a mother since forever... and since we need more wolves in the pack..." She let out a wistful sigh. "I just hope I'm good enough to catch his interest, over any other parties who might approach him." She said, even softer. These were worries with her that she'd been carrying with her ever since she'd approached the older male at the meeting.MiddyGlow So sorry for the late reply! I'd love to continue this RP if you're up to it!

Forest Shadow shook her head "It's no trouble at all, I care about the health of the pack physical and in the mind." Forest had nothing else going on right now, the pack had been pretty peaceful lately. In some ways that was nice and in other ways it made her want to find someone to fuss over and take care of. She had been trying for pups with Hoot but had not had any luck as of yet. Forest smiled "I understand." She was a little too shy to point out that she had feelings for Hoot, but she did understand wanting to spend time with male wolves. "Yes I understand that as well, I am hoping to have pups someday soon, but everything in its own time of course." Forest Shadow cocked her eyebrow "Why wouldn't you be enough to catch his eye? You are a smart healthy female wolf, I'm sure you will be just fine." Forest Shadow said firmly.
