World Events Thread
|| An owner may participate with as many characters as they like.
|| A single character may only write one response per prompt.
|| These prompts may be used toward growth points. (prompt will indicate how the prompt may be applied.)
|| Solos must be 750 words to count as completed.
|| RP formatted prompts must have 7 posts to count as completed.
|| RPs and solos (all event responses) should be posted in the events forum in the guild and marked fin once they are finished.
|| RPs must have at least one filled tag from both characters within three months of the prompt closing.
|| Solos must be completely finished within 3 months of the prompt closing.
|| Prompts can only count for the number of points appointed to them regardless of length of the response.
|| You should only make one thread per World Event - this means you cannot make a single thread with multiple characters posting solos.
|| You must also add a character's name to the title of the thread. If a thread is missing name(s) a week after the prompts close, we will lock and move them to archives.

Cold Snap

As the year comes to an end, an abnormal cold snap has taken over Tendaji. The mountains of Zena are covered in a blizzard, and even the desert of Oba is feeling a bit of an abnormal chill.

Tis the season for gift giving, a sense of celebration as the year comes to an end. You get all the gifts you expect, and give some out as well. However, a strange, unmarked gift has arrived. You have no idea who sent it, or what it might be. Is it something from an admirer, or possibly a bit more sinister?
[ Your character receives an unexpected gift. Feel free to answer this prompt exploring the thoughts around such thing, the suspicion or confusion, maybe even resolving it with finding out who the gift giver was. Maybe it's someone you know, but it's a surprise. Maybe it's a mistake. The only way to find out is to open the present. ]
