Einarr had joined the Fallguard as a pup with his mother and sister. He was proud to be there and worked even harder to be a Knight. The idea of going on ventures and dueling with his fellow knights was too good to pass up. He didn't mind his mixed heritage, for he understood that for the growth of the pack, that's what needed to be done. Sometimes he fancied finding himslf a fine larger lady, like his mother had found in his father, the dire wolf who called himself Whitewalker.

But he soon realized that he would much rather have someone he could love within the pack and he doubted Aragon would let him bring home a direwolf lady as his mate. So... he started looking within the pack. There were certainly some lookers in the pack to be sure, like Luciana with her charming white coat or Tove who looked like a piece of the night sky walking on the earth.

However, he had no idea how to approach these pretty ladies and so let the opportunity pass him by. Indeed, it seemed like he was passing many chances by and it wasn't until he stopped looking that she came into his life.

Silke had joined the Fallguard recently and Einarr had been staring at her since she arrived. With those pretty trinkets around her face (though he hadn't the faintest clue what they were for) and her cream colored fur... He had to go up to her.

He didn't care if he looked too forward or if gossip would arise. He was going to go introduce himself and see if she wanted to take a walk around with him, by golly!

Strolling up to where he spotted the new Peasant (though she was far from a peasant in his eyes) he cleared his throat and grinned at her.
"Hello there! You're new here, right? Welcome to the Fallguard! Shall I show you around?" He asked, hoping she wasn't a fast learner that didn't need any showing around.

User Image Silke was a very nervous wolf before she had joined the pack. Living on her own and fending for herself was never quite her style, she always wanted somehting more in life, something she could call her own and look to. She didn't just want to be 'Silke', she wanted to be something more, anything more. So, when the option of joining a pack called The Fallguard, regal and strong, opened up to her.. she bounded towards the idea. She was going to join this pack and make something of herself!

Integrating into the pack had been difficult, not that she was even fully integrated now-. She didn't have a very intriguing past, for the most part. She had lived out her life on the move, wandering the world in search for a bigger meaning and wolves she could connect with. When she finally had the chance to connect with wolves and join into The Fallguard, she had been a bit flustered, unsure. Was she ready? Did she know what she was doing? Oh, who cared! She shoved those fears aside soon enough and had begun her journey attempting to become one of the pack members.

Today was truly no different as she sat, her gaze traveling around slowly. She didn't have any hunting to do right about now. Would now be a good time to socialize some more? She supposed so. It couldn't hurt. Surprisingly, as she thought to herself about which wolf to approach, one did the job for her. That was one of the knights, if she recalled. She couldn't quite remember his name though.

She blinked, shifting her gaze up to meet his. "Oh, hello." She said quietly. She wasn't muttering or whispering, her voice just seemed.. whispy, very soft and smooth. "I am new, yes, it it that noticeable?" She jokes with a small smile, her tail wagging to the side. She paused for a moment as the other wolf asked if she'd like to be showed around. She knew quite a bit about the pack, having been intent on learning as much as she could quickly.. but still, he seemed kind, and she needed a friend. "That sounds amazing, if you wouldn't mind! And what shall I call you?" Silke asked as she stood from her spot, shaking off her pelt slowly.

Einarr smiled at the cream-colored she-wolf and nodded his agreement.
"It is noticeable, yes. I suspect many have taken notice of you: the new beauty among our ranks." He reflected with a glint in his eye. He inclined his head in a direction, beckoning for her to follow. As he began to walk, he replied to her inquiry. "My name is Einarr." He replied. "I imagine coming to the Fallguard makes for a welcome change from the rougher terrains. I spent some time as a rogue myself, before my mother found the Fallguard and I am happier having joined. My mother, sister and I are quite happy to have joined."

He strolled out further, headed towards the border of the pack and he would circle around the borders before heading back towards camp.
"I'm sure you'll be happy to join us, too, if you aren't already." He remarked to Silke. "You certainly fit in here, at any rate." He added with a grin. "Is it too soon to ask about how you found yourself on our borders?"

She felt a slight heat beneath her fur at his comment. Her head tilted to the side with a slight flick of her ear, what an interesting wolf he was. Very bold, it seemed. "Why, thank you. I'm glad I wasn't noticed for any trait of a more negative sort, I suppose." She let out an amused yip, her tail beginning to wag softly behind her. Curled or not, it could still wiggle about! She trotted after the brown and white wolf, her paw-steps soft and quite. "Einarr, that is quite a nice name, for an equally nice wolf." She complimented, nodding her head towards him. Silke felt it was only right she give him a compliment in return. He was quite a handsome wolf, no doubt. Only now was she realizing his eyes were two different colors. She felt a bit more embarrassment rise in the pit of her stomach. He was so interesting.. she felt quite plain in comparison to him, even if outwardly she displayed regal confidence.

"Well, life was hard alone, yes. I'm hoping I'll enjoy the pack life more than I did roughing it out alone.. It seems I've had more luck making friends with handsome wolves so far, though." She nudged him with her shoulder a bit as they walked.

She walked with him as they wandered throughout the pack grounds, circling back towards the camp. She gave a soft nod as he remarked that she seemed to fit in, she was happy with that, at least. She worked hard to be sure she wasn't too out of the ordinary. She didn't want to be seen as the outcast of the pack just yet. She gave a slight pause at his question before continuing on. "Oh, it's nothing special, really. How I wish I had a large story to tell, but there simply isn't one. I've been alone for quite a while, wandering, searching for something to call my own. It was only a matter of time until I found this pack.. and, surely enough, clicked with it." Silke remarked softly.

Einarr grinned at Silke's compliment.
"You've got good taste." He replied and chuckled at this. He wasn't self-centered by any means, but he was confident... and humble wasn't quite in his vocabulary just yet. He took note of the way that she was staring at him and was quite pleased that she was doing so. He was just as fine a specimen of any other wolfdog, though he like to think he was among one of the finer in his pack. Handsome and a Knight, what could a she-wolf want besides all of these things that he had to offer?

"I'm certain that you will have no trouble making friends here. I'm happy to introduce you to some of mine, or if you prefer the company of she-wolves perhaps to my mother or my sister. Skuld is a bit... much, but she's good-natured when it comes to it." He said. "And she's nearly as pretty to look at as I am." He added. "I'm happy to point her out to you sometime. Though if you look for the she-wolf that looks like she has white claw marks over one side of her face, that's Skuld. It's just fur, but my does it look striking! My mother says she takes after our father in that regards," He shook his head. "But I can't see it personally."

He listened to her and nodded.
"Well, just as I am certain that you will make friends, I am just as equally certain that you shall find your calling here. We're a fine band of canines as ever were seen. I am not surprised that one as fine as yourself was inclined to join our ranks. You'll fit right in in no time." He said and returned her nudge, though he did so in a more gentle manner.

He continued to walk forward, stopping occasionally to point out notable points of the territory. In between his stops, he would pause to ensure they weren't walking at too brisk a pace and his tail would set to wagging every time they slowed. He always enjoyed the company of a fair lady and Silke seemed to be the fairest of them all.

"If you have no story of excitement to tell from before you came to the pack, perhaps you have something interesting about you that is not tied to your history. Like a taste for rabbit feet or you collect deer antlers or...Say, do you like fishing?" He asked with a grin.

Silke couldn't help it as an amused yip left her, her head shaking from side to side. Oh, what an interesting wolf he was turning out to be! His confidence was evident enough, practically oozing off him! Though, she had to admit, the confidence was well deserved. She preferred to flaunt her self in a more subtle fashion.. but to each their own, she supposed. She stretched her back legs a bit, shaking her pelt as they walked. "I would hope so, I've always been a good judge, I like to think." She stated softly, eyeing him just a bit more.

"I would love to meet any of your friends in this lovely pack, if they're as kind as you, Einarr." Silke cooed, tilting her head to the side as he went on a bit about his sister. Once more she found herself smiling, or, to whatever extent wolves could smile. Her ears perked up and tail wagged side to side slowly. "Your sister sounds lovely, Skuld.. what an interesting name! Though, I have to say.. I think I prefer your company over any she-wolf." Silke concluded softly.

Silke enjoyed there walk thoroughly as he showed her around the territory, finding interest in just about everything she could and asking about it. She always managed to sneak in a compliment for him or a stretch that seemed to last just a little too long when they stopped. She wanted to catch his eye, of course! What better way than that?

"Oh, well, yes.. I suppose I do have a few strange little things about myself. If adventuring counts, of course. You can find so many lovely things wandering around abandoned dens and through wrecks of.. who knows what! Truly fascinating." Silke barked gently before giving a pause. "I can't say I've ever tried fishing.. perhaps you could show me?"

Einarr's ears flicked in concern at her yip-had she stepped on something? But it looked as though she had only meant it in jest. Letting his fur settle as he smiled at her, he nodded.
"From what I've seen so far, that is proving very true indeed." He agreed.

As she went on to speak about how she'd enjoy meeting his friends and his sister, he smiled. As she went on, his tail began to wag from side to side of him. He was obviously quite pleased with her commentary.
"I must say that I feel the same. I enjoy your company more than any other she-wolf, too." He said and hoped that it had more meaning. Indeed, there were many beautiful ladies within the pack, but once Silke had joined... she outweighed all of them. The others in the pack just couldn't compare. She was too lovely.

The way she stretched and the sun would glint off her fur... She was like the color of a full moon or the sun as it rose for the first time among the colors of the dawn. He couldn't help, but stare and her compliments set his tail wagging. He was never shy about his feelings. Aloofness to attract others was something he would never understand.

He listened to her stories about adventuring too, with an intrigued look in his mismatched eyes.
"You'll have to tell me more about your adventures into the unknown some time." He told her. "It sounds quite fascinating." Pulling the conversation back to something he knew, he went on. "As is fishing. It takes considerable skill, but fortunately I have it." He boasted. "The next time fishing season comes around, I'll be happy to show you how it's done." He assured her.

As he rounded a corner, they were back in their current camp and he smiled.
"Well, home again already! I hope you enjoyed the tour. You're welcome to come to me if you have questions about anything else, too, you know. Whether it's about the territory or fishing or... well anything." He offered with a smile as he looked at her. "I'm really so glad you've joined. I know you'll fit in perfectly here." He said, trying to drive home the point that he knew she belonged here...with him.

Her mind wandered just a little as she eyed him, and she couldn't help but think of how cute his little tail wag was. She had pinned him as a flirt, and, it seemed that was right, but she also found him charmingly adorable. He sure knew how to sweep a lady off her paws, did he not? Silke couldn't help but be suspicious. Such a lovely wolf couldn't be waltzing around without a she wolf attached to his hip! He had to have a lovely mate back at the pack, did he not?

"Oh, you're far too king, Einarr." She said softly. Despite her small attempts as avoiding it, her paws felt a little lighter at the compliment. It seems, even if he did have she-wolves swooning after him, at least he preferred her company so far. She hoped it would remain that way as they grew closer.

She paused and her ears perked a bit. "Oh, I would love to tell you some stories when we have a bit more time. I don't know how interesting you'll find them, but I hope they can entertain you at least." Silke hummed, lowering her head just a bit as she allowed herself to relax beside the other wolf. "I would be honored to go fishing with you when we can. I'm sure it would be lovely."

She blinked and glanced around. Time had gone by so quickly.. "Thank you, very much. I'm glad I had someone as charming as you for a guide, Einarr." Any anxieties she may have had about finally settling down were quickly washed away. "I think you're right, this is quite a lovely pack.. and I'm so happy I've decided to become apart of it." With a small wag of her tail she gave him a small nudge before turning to trot off.

What a lovely pack.. and what a lovely wolf as well. She was excited to learn more about him. Maybe sometime soon she'd approach him to ask more about his life, and maybe if she'd slowly become apart of it.
