"Oh!" Liu exclaimed. "I was worried you were gunna be locked away or tortured once I healed you." She stopped at a fork in the road and stood in the center of the roads looking at the trees above, ground below and shrubs on either side. "We go left." Liu directed. "Now I don't have to delay your recovery, not saying I'd let you die of course." She laughed nervously as they continued to the left.
"I'm sorry to hear you're an orphan." Liu said as a small hut appeared ahead just as the sun was sitting over head. "This one seems empty." Liu noted as they arrived.

"Cloud is very well respected by the people" Liam said "It was foolish of them to challenge her" Cloud didn't say anything back to Liu. She closed her eyes letting her weakness overcome her. Liam panicked for a moment dropping the cart. He put his hand to her wrist checking for a pulse. It was present but a little unsteady. He gently shook her shoulder and got a tired moan. "Cloud" he called her name She turned her head just barely but didn't open her eyes. Her cheek lay against his hand. Her hand loosened on her sword. She took a deeper breath and then it became shallow as she dropped into a deep sleep. "Hang on" Liam whispered "Hang on" He prayed that she was just tired. He knew that many battles had lasted far too long. Too many soldiers had already dropped and others died from exhaustion.
