What did it signify that Sayuri was blood tied to two Fey from opposite Courts? It was puzzling to say the least. Sayuri had finally satiated her curiosity as to they how and why she had know how to get to Tir Nan Og, and why the place had seemed so familiar yet the Sun Court Castellum was not. She had searched back through her old journal entries, finding a reference to Aranea, the Moon Court and a Majestrix Nox. She had thought that her visits there were colourful and complex dreams, but obviously she had actually been there, and the spider Fey was doing something to her to forget her visits. That she remembered the trips to and from the Sun Court so vividly, and kept her wits afterwards attested to the fact that it wasnt a trick her mind was playing on her.
She would worry about what Aranea was doing to her after her visit with Tamia. Today was a day she had been looking forward to; it was the day when Tamia would become her charge fully, having spent the last few months with her mother. The room that was to be Tamia's from now on, Sayuri had had lovingly furnished, and when she entered, the squirrel Fey baby was bouncing on the bed. As Sayuri entered, she let out a loud chittering cry, holding her chubby arms up so that she could be picked up, and nest onto her shoulder. Sayuri sat on the bed, picking Tamia up and the baby wriggled from her arms onto Sayuri's shoulder and clung onto her neck, her tail coiled around to rest across her throat like a very alive fur stole.
'Missed me huh? I guess your Mummy dropped you off before I arrived. It isnt like you can come to harm here, and I know you climb very well for an infant.'
Sayuri tended to chatter along to Tamia, even though the Fey baby couldnt reply in any more literate way then some gurgling or chitters. She carried on talking as she tidied the room, putting away some clothes that she had bought along, all the while telling her just mundane news to keep the squirrel Fey occupied.

Journal Entry:

Once again I write in this about a new child, a new charge of mine. My journal is full, my life is full despite my own personal heartbreaks and disappointments. This time I write of a new Fey; a member of the Sun Court this time (I say this time, I am also the Kithain to a member of what I assume is the opposing Court - that of the Moon but due to her deviant nature I believed her to be nothing more then a fanciful dream, my mind playing tricks).
Knowing that I was tricked so makes me angry..but I should not dwell longer on Aranea's deception. It is Tamia I write of today. She is the daughter of King Cervus and Queen Lilium, and she is a small bundle of chattering life, with energy to spare and exceedingly able to climb despite her young age. She is a squirrel fey, and she displays many aspects of that animal at the moment, but I believe that she may grow out of certain things...its a hope that she wont be trying to climb my shoulders when she is a teenager!
I remembered that I received a package, I put it away before Tamia became my charge full time, and its just now that I recall it. It was from a Countess Filix, and contained a prettily patterned fan, and a charm bracelet that I shall allow Tamia to wear when she is a little older. It is best not to give it to her now; she tried to insert it into her mouth when I showed it to her so I believe I am right to keep it from her right now.
I only hope that she doesnt persist in trying to get it, I may take it with me when I leave tonight...we shall see.
