Here she was again, at the fringes of the ruins her father had deemed forbidden. Ears laying back against her mane, Russet Fawn looked out over the stretched of metal and stone structures that were ever crumbling. The ground was a stumble of thick black stones that had created paths and foliage that were breaking them apart Nature was coming back to what was ruined by the visitors whom left and left everything in... Well... Ruin. "Why did I let you talk me into this." Fawn said to the cream and seal point Jack Hop on her back. "You know how feel about this place.""I do, but it won't get better if you keep avoiding it." The Jack hop pointed out as he poked her in the back with a paw. "You can only run from your past for just so long before it catches up with you. Besides, This will be a better environment to practice your magic."Russet Fawn only rolled her eyes as she entered the ruins, her steps slow as she looked around. Ever looking around to make sure nothing was going to happen. Things seemed to be fine for the time being, but who knows when another quake would act up and all heck would break loose. "As long as you have the seeds Talltale, we can get in. Preform a little magic and get out again." She was bound and determined to get out of the Ruins before her past came back to her again. Talltale only rolled his eyes as he held a couple seeds with a paw while the other helped with balance. It seemed that the Jack Hop had started refusing to travel on his own four paws. But right now it was helpful so they didn't lose the seeds she had gathered in Homewood. She wasn't looking to try and hunt for others like the Barrens adventure. Fun as it was, she still felt like her back was forever burnt. WC: 331

The Great Grandfather tree had gifted Krima with Atmos and she was fully dedicated to taking care of restoring the world around her. She wanted to build something for her future children and there was no way she was birthing little fawns in a world where everything was broken. This was a secret promise that she had made to herself when she’d left her den the morning she went to the tree. It was a duty she took extremely seriously and she planned to see it through to the end or at least until she could no longer stay in this world. She hoped by then that her actions would have fixed enough of the world for her children to take over the mantle.
That’s why today, she was headed to the ruins of Erli. There was no doubt about it, the ruins were the creepiest things she’d ever laid eyes on in all of her life. It was unnatural. That was why this was the first place she wanted to fix and a great place to practice her magic. If the ruins could be returned to their original form, before the Others came, then there was hope for the rest of the planet. At least, that’s what Krima believed and she knew that every little bit helped. That’s why she was doing her part today.
The pale doe was almost at the entrance of the ruins when she spotted another Nouli standing there. Well, if they were two then things would be faster and they could keep each other company. Krima only hoped that the doe wasn’t leaving but entering as she was. Then the closer she got the more she recognized the Nouli’s coat.
“Russet Fawn!” She called to her as she approached. They’d met by the river’s edge previously. Krima trotted up to her happily. “It’s nice to see another familiar face!”

Fawn just about leaped out of her own skin as someone called out to her. She hadn't really gotten too close to other Nouls, though had met a few recently. Some she remembered the names of, others she didn't. This was one she didn't remember. Talltale, nearly looking out over Fawn's shoulder at the pale colored doe that was coming in their direction, one ear flicking to the side. "Hello there!" Talltale pipped out waving a paw, the other was still holding onto a couple of seeds. Fancy seeing you here in this place." Talltale was always the chipper one where Fawn was always the secluded one. She liked being alone most the time, it was quieter and such. Though she did smile at the approaching Doe. "Hello, who are you again?" she asked tilting her head to one side. "You were one of those at the river a few days back? I'm sorry I don't remember your name, I am sometimes bad at them."Russet Fawn has stopped in her tracks on one of the many chunks of the black paths. There were certainly many names or it, but she just considered them paths to travel upon. She continued to watch the Doe that came closer, she wasn't sure if this one had a gift as well. But if so, wondered if there would be a chance of working together. Only time would tell.. WC: 235

“Sorry to scare you!” While Krima usually didn’t mind giving the young foals a good scare, this was not the place to do so to an adult Noul and she’d felt a twinge bad.
“Yes, I was by the river. I’m Krima! And no worries,” she gave a swish of her tail. “This place kinda makes you forget about a lot of stuff.” Krima didn’t mind, this place kind of made you forget a lot of things she felt. She gave the ruins a look over, it wasn’t exactly the most inviting place to be.
“Are you going in the ruins too?” She’d much rather have company than go in alone. She was really second-guessing having a familiar now. If Fawn was going in she’d be lucky enough to go with someone, but there wasn’t always going to be another Noul to go in with her. “I’m going in to use my gift, I want to try and start healing the ruins.” She used a more quiet and serious tone, this was her mission and while she was usually upbeat, this was something that was extremely important to her.
“If you’re going in too, we can go in together if you don’t mind. This place kind of gives me the creeps.” And then Krima stopped talking because Fawn was probably recovering from the scare and here she was babbling like nothing had happened.

Fawn just watched the doe as she spoke on and on about the ruins and wanting to use her gift to help heal it. Frowning slightly, she was mostly there to leave something behind and never return to the place again. Perhaps only helping heal other regions of the world. Shaking her head a little she looked away from Krima. "I am just here to leave something and then leave. Too many things here I don't want to see again.." she muttered as she looked away from the doe. 'There are many things that I wish I could forget, about this place."Fawn looked up at the towering stretches of metal that reached towards the skies. Really she wanted to get it all over with and leave. Talltale on the other hand looked around, his nose a twitching. His pawns still clutching the seed they had brought with them. "While I do love chit chat, we should keep moving. Never know when something might be out there, watching." He said hopping slightly yo look behind him as if he could feel eyes watching him. "What has gotten your fur into a bunch." Fawn grumbled before she started walking again, headed in a certain direction. "We should get moving before he loses his fur." she nodded back at Krima before she started walking again. "Out here to use your gift, huh? Mind if I ask what ability you were blessed with?" She just wanted to keep her mind off the thoughts of coming back to this cursed place. "I really don't like this place." Fawn's tone was one of nervousness as she continued walking, eyes ever up and watching what was around them. She did not want anything falling on them, not like what happened in the past... WC: 297

Krima could understand why any Noulicorn didn’t want to be in the ruins, but still, it was important that this place was healed back to its original state. Or at least as close to it as possible that was for sure. Then at least the Nouli’s could make newer and better memories and the young foals would never know the horrors of this place and what it had been previously. At least, that’s what Krima hoped it would become, but she knew it would take time.
When she mentioned she was leaving something here, she wondered what it could be. Fawn didn’t seem to have anything on her. Then she glanced at her familiar and noticed the seed. Why was she bringing a seed here? She could plant it anywhere else and it would probably be better than here. She did not, however, comment on it. Usually, she would have, but this place kind of sobered up anyone’s joy about... Anything really. Here, Krima was not her vivacious self so she followed along quietly for the time.
“Atmos,” she said with a smile. “Drizzle to be exact. It’s not much right now, I’m only an apprentice, but I’ve been practising a lot and the ruins is the first place I decided that I wanted to heal.” Because it is dangerous and must be returned to its original form, though the words were left unsaid by the doe. She was probably already talking way too much, not that she could help herself really. She was a bit nervous and it kind of just came out, Krima’s way of coping with the anxiety that the ruins brought.
“What about you? Do you have a gift?” Her ears swivelled around them, sometimes catching faint noises but Krima would turn and look but see nothing. No one had gotten hurt in the ruins yet as far as she knew, so maybe just maybe she needed to calm down before her own nerves ran her out before she finished what she’d come here to do.

"I was gifted with Botanic. I can make seeds sprout." It wasn't that she was mad at the idea, just the Ruins kept her on edge. "Last time I was here, before meeting the Jack Hop, I lost almost everything in a quake." She muttered absentmindedly as she went.
Stopping a moment she looked around before looking back towards Krima. She had been practicing her ability as well, though probably in a safer place then the Barrens. Well, that was nice, Fawn had had the bright idea of doing things that way, did she ever regret it? Not really, it proved that life could come back to the wasteland. And the buck that had accompanied her on that adventure had been nice as well. Even if a little ambitious in his own want to see how things worked and her ability.
"Really, this is I hope a means of closure and that my past will not come back to haunt me in the end." Fawn went on as she started walking once again. Her steps carefully chosen as she went, headed to what used to be her home in the Ruins. "A lot was lost here, and I am not meaning all the trash that is still around this area."
"Oh just spit it out Fawn, there is no need to burden yourself with everything." Talltale said thumping his foot on her back making the doe stop and glance back at him.
"My past, my burden" Fawn said tartly as she glared at the Jack Hop. "Not everyone needs to know about it."
The two bickered a little longer before Fawn came to a stop near a low mound on the ground. Atop it a large piece of human structure. Ears falling back, Fawn staggered backwards until she ended up dumping Talltale on the ground as she sat. This place again, her mind lost for the moment as her eyes were wide as if something from her past stood before her.
"Hey, no, no no. Not again. Fawn you snap out of it this instant!" Talltale said bouncing in front of her before latching onto her front leg, trying to snap her out of her stooper.

“I’m sorry to hear that,” Krima said softly, a lot of people had lost things or others in the ruins and honestly Krima didn’t know how to respond when others got emotional. It made her uncomfortable and while she knew the correct thing was to offer the other doe some kind of comfort, she couldn’t find the proper words. So she stayed silent and focused on the task at hand. This was exactly the kind of thing she was trying to prevent in the future, so others wouldn’t have to lose anything again in the ruins.
As Russet Fawn spoke to her Jack Hop, Krima grew uncomfortable again, she tried to look at everything except the pair in question. She couldn’t keep just saying she was sorry to hear that, it wouldn’t do any anyone any help.
“It’s okay,” she finally said so they would stop fighting. “Everyone’s business is their own and if she doesn’t feel comfortable sharing that’s okay.” And while she wanted to ask directly, it was not appropriate. Her mother used to tell her that she was a little too energetic from time to time with others, and she often lost all her manners at the same time. As she’d gotten older, Krima had tried to be a bit calmer and actually care about others. Still, sometimes her self-centred side still cropped up once in a while.
It was only when the Jack Hop spoke up that Krima’s ears swivelled in their direction and she turned to look at what was happening. She didn’t understand at first, the Jack Hope kept telling her to snap out of it, did Krima trot over to them to see what was happening.
“What’s wrong? What’s happening to her?” Krima tried to look beyond them, perhaps she had seen a predator of some kind? Maybe something dangerous? Her ears were madly swivelling about atop her head trying to figure out what exactly she wasn’t seeing that Fawn was. “What do we do?”

Talltale let go of Fawn's leg as it seemed that that wasn't going to snap her out of it. Frowning at the doe that was his companion he looked towards the doe that had met up with them. This was all the confusion as to what was happening with Fawn. Not many, if anyone knew of her past and he had to weasel it out of her some time ago. "Lets just say a repressed memory has popped back up." He said looking up at Krima "She lost her family here, from what she told me her mother and twin were crushed in this spot because of a quake."That was perhaps a little more information then Fawn would have liked to have let out. But Talltale was getting tired of all the secrecy and thought that maybe having others know would help. She could make friends easier if they knew, she had left another wondering just what was going on. Shaking his head, Talltale hopped around Fawn to take hold of her tail, this time she jumped and kicked out backwards. "What the heck Talltale!" She shouted turning on the Jack Hop before looking around. It seemed that she had calmed down a little bit, though her sides still heaved slightly. "I had done it again, huh?"Talltale had let go of Fawn's tail as she kicked out, dodging to the side to sit beside her. He only glared at her as she questioned her actions. Well there was her answer, she had fallen into that stooper again, the memory of her past had rushed at her like a mad bull. Hanging her head slightly, Fawn looked away from them both, realizing she had blanked out in front of someone else this time. WC: 294
