Mistwalked gave a thoughtful nod and a shrug at her question of their names. Some were less obvious than others but almost all of them did seem pretty literal. He personally loved the long literal names everyone of them had been given. At the she-cats offer to join him on this mornings hunt, Mistwalker stood and gave another nod, though more direct this time. " I would like that." Hunting required less talking and more included more just silently being in each others presence so prey wasn't scared off. Before he could move to leave camp, he heard the call of the Mountain Seeker. With a quick look to Softfeather he headed towards their leaders den. He nodded along with his leaders words. Most of his days in the tribe had been spent hunting, it would be nice to change things up with a patrol. A big patrol was less than desirable but he would go along anyway. " Perhaps another morning." Mistwalker mewed quietly to Softfeather once Feather Fall had finished speaking. The hunt would have to wait, a patrol was in his future this morning. Softfeather was still awaiting Mistwalker's reply when a resounding call cut through the air. Turning her head, she looked to Feather Fall and felt anticipation swell inside of her. Large patrols were not unheard of in LightningClan, with so many cats in the Clan, but to patrol with so many new cats.
Take it in stride, Softfeather. She told herself. You chose this life, after all. And she set a determined look upon her face as she observed the gathering of other Tribe cats nearby. At the quiet meow of the cat beside her, she turned to look at him and she smiled, flicking her ears in acknowledgement. "I'll hold you to that." She informed him with a glint in her eye, before she turned back to gazing up at her leader, no... her Mountain Seeker.

Kaori finished brushing herself and saw Big Mama talking to her mouse companion. Lil Tex, was it? Personally, she did not understand Big Mama's relationship and attachment towards the rodent -- it was a meal -- but if it helped the cat cope, so be it.
She got up and walked over to Big Mama, giving a purr of greeting before Feather Fall called for the tribe. "Would you be accompanying the tribe on the patrol today?" she asked warmly. She feared a little however, having Lil Tex exposed in the open where birds could easily swoop in and catch him.
Kaori watched as others presented themselves for the task. Other cats who were previous loners and clan-cats and even tribe mates. It would be interesting, having tribe mates learn about the clans and what laid underneath the mountain range.

Feather nodded at Mistwalker, swishing her tail in appreciation. “The tribe thanks you, your paws are a valuable asset. As is everyone’s!” She called out again, standing up and leaping down off the rock above her den. She purred, dipping her head in greeting to those that had gathered and waved her tail for them to follow, passing a thankful glance at Kaori.
She turned next to Silent Blaze, again dipping her head respectfully in greeting at the medicine cat. “Forest of endless hunting prevent it, but should we need your skills, would you accompany us on this patrol as well?” She asked the Earth Speaker, silently wondering where Bitter Dew was. Perhaps they needed restocking on their herbs? Oh well, this is why she was glad to have not one, but two healers.
“We’ll leave some warriors in camp to stay and defend Tale Keepers and Underlings, but the rest of you, with me.” She called loudly again and began to lead them towards the entrance of their camp.

Swift Cloud
Swift cloud tried to mask a sigh with an overly long yawn complete with front paws stretched out. Shaking out the stretch, the stress remained. The way everyone was talking just set him on edge. there wasn't a threat--as far as he could tell -- but even thinking of asking an Earth Speaker to come along just didn't sit well.
A lot like a eating a kill that has gone rotten.

Big Mama had settled herself near the warrior’S den when she was asked by their deputy if she were to join the patrol. She gave a mrrow of laughter, “If ya’ll have me come along, I won’t mind... it be nice to stretch those legs.” She jostled the fox pelt a little, to prevent it from falling as she stood up, Lil Tex hiding within. It is a weight she has gotten used to and finds comfort in. Looking towards Feather, she listened to what their leader said before looking around to see who else was apart of the patrol. A few cats she never knew the names of, but look to be decent cats. She smiled at Kaori, nodding before turning to follow Feather.

Mistwalker nodded in acknowledgement to Softfeather. Feeling a bit anxious having sat for so long in his favorite time of day, Mistwalker stood up a bit too quickly and moved to hurry after Feather. Not wanting to seem like he was brushing off his morning companion he turned back to look at her. " Coming?" As they started to head out, he looked around at the assembled cats. A patrol with the Mountain Seeker, Peak Listener, and one of their Earth Speaker's? Well, this was a busy morning indeed. Feather did say it was going to be a big patrol but this almost felt like too much.

Timber's head rose up as she heard Feather Fall call out to the tribe. With a hesitant swish of her tail, the colorful she-cat got to her paws, slowly trotting over. She listened to her Mountain Seeker's words, Timber's ears twitched slightly, her head perking up just a little bit more. Suddenly, it seemed many cats were deciding to go, and she didn't know what exactly to do. She had spaced out for a moment, only to find that Feather Fall was already leaving! Oh, was she too late? She shuffled on her paws, unsure. Then, she hurried after her.
"Feather Fall! Feather Fall!" She called quickly, hoping to get her attention. "May I come as well?" She wanted to learn more about the territory and such. Surely enough cats would be left behind to defend if she went... right?Fea Line Timber addressing Feather Fall

Feather stropped only when she heard her name being called. She turned to great the brightly colored she cat and smiled, dipping her head. A soft purr rumbled in her throat. "Of course Timber, I'd be honored to have your paws along with us. I'm pleased to see such eagerness! Forest of Endless Hunting will reward you I'm sure of it." she mrrowed, gently leaning forward to touch her nose tip to Timber's before once again waving her tail for the others to follow. "Keep your ears and noses sharp everyone!"
