1. You may NOT use the lineart given out for this event for ANYTHING ELSE. ✗ If you aren't hired, and you use the lineart again, you will be grey-listed and warned in the shop. ✗ If you continue to use the lines, you'll be blacklisted. 2. Whether or not you are trying out, please don't be overly supportive or un-supportive of any one candidate. ✗ Comments like 'oh that's cute' and etc are okay. Comments like 'THAT SUCKS' or 'wow that's the BEST one!' are not. In the same vein, don't say things like 'omg they should hire _____ person!' and etc. 3. No drama please 4. For this event, absolutely NO COSPLAYS will be allowed. Edits should be totally original. ✗ If I find out anyone has done a cosplay of some obscure character, you will be warned and grey-listed. ✗ Original Character "cosplays" are allowed, but these must be YOUR original designs, not some cool anime art you found and are saying it looks like a character of yours. 5. Spread the word! If you know other people who like to color, let them know about the event :3 6. Have fun~!

So you want to be a member of our staff, eh? Well, there's a few things you should know before you apply.
Our shop is seeking dedicated help, people who have the time, talent and willingness to work for a B/C shop. You will be expected to get your work done in a timely manner; hang around the shop; be friendly and courteous as well as fair and understanding; and to not abandon your work. Keep in mind that we do understand that life gets in the way sometimes. If you need to take a hiatus, all we ask is that you let Ravenloue know as soon as possible.

All colorists have the same basic requirements: ✔ Working knowledge of layers and templates ✔ Color with creativity ✔ Clean work ✔ Participate in all shop events ✔ Color at least one growing pet for each flatsale ✔ All stages completed prior to sale ✔ Be an active member of the shop ✔ Reliability
Responsibilities* ✔ Maintain a certain level of style and skill ✔ Open custom and breeding slots regularly ✔ Cert your own work or negotiate a deal with a certist ✔ Host events or provide ideas for future events
Qualifications ✔ Some form of messenger software for easy contact (Skype, Discord[preferred], etc) ✔ Create clean lines and shading ✔ Work well with others ✔ Work without supervision ✔ Dedication to the shop and guests ✔ Strong sense of color concepts/theory ✔ Willingness to receive and give critiques
Benefits ✔ Earn credits to color your own customs ✔ Able to take custom, breeding and pet trade orders ✔ After have the ability to take bribes ✔ After earn extra bribe slots

I feel like when I am actively working for the shop I am learning and my skills are growing, and making people happy helps me push past blacks and the desire to give up. Other Samples: n/a Why do you want to work for MLP?: Its nostalgic and fun and I could sit and color these sweet lines all day... so I will be fairly prolific, lol. I’ve been away from Gaia awhile and I’m looking to be involved again.
