We can look into what is the best way to to do this if it’s feasible. What we may end up doing is modifying the Rules and Guidelines of an existing forum to enable you to RP there. If we do that and it becomes very popular we can also look into creating it's own subforum. We will let you know by Staff Notice if we do end up doing that!

The lack of hair options is an oversight on our part as the avi builder was originally built for trying out clothing. We will look into adding all hairstyles into the avibuilder in the future.

The arm pose your avi is using is ignored when trying things on in the marketplace. It defaults to both arms down which is a problem when the different arm positions mean different things.
For instance, both arms down on this avi shows a purple bear in the MP dressing room instead of the seafoam colored bear I'm actually holding. Very frustrating/annoying trying on different extras for this avi when the bear is purple.

Can this be fixed to use the arms position you've already chosen and not default to arms down?

Yes I can add an additional check for arm poses during preview. It shouldn't be hard to do, so we should be able to have this added sooner than later.

Will we be getting a new kin this year to celebrate the Year of the Rat?
Not necessarily as a freebie (although, hey, I wouldn't argue), but as an item sold directly in La Victoire. It's just that we've had new kin for previous Zodiacs (Shi Hou, Gege the Rooster, Creme Creme, and Porksperity) and it'd be fun to see that continue. emotion_bigheart
I do understand that kin are a ton of work to make/code so I 100% understand if not. We did just get the adorable Decembun, after all. But... I thought I'd ask anyway. Because I'm a shameless LK nerd.

Do you know about the Go Gaia app being broken? The Go Gaia app on my phone gets stuck on loading the catwalk. It also doesn't show my platinum or my gaia cash.
I tried exiting the app and uninstalling it. It didn't help

Please let us know which phone you are using, and what is the version of your operating system whether it's IOS or Android, then we'll setup some test on a platform similar to yours and see what might be causing issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.

With the Paw anniversary coming in around the same day as Gaia's anniversary, I'm just curious is there an artist around who does Paw items aside Neko. Or is Neko's departure the end of new paw items?

So last week I mentioned I had my trading pass revoked upon becoming an angel subscriber due to the system wrongly assuming it may be fraud. I asked if it was safe to buy GC or would I lose my ability to trade for a week or more ANY time I bought GC. I was told it's safe to buy GC and my trading pass/ability to buy from MP was restored. The system was just 'learning my spending habits'
I bought GC and BAM immediate total loss of Marketplace and trading pass. Again.
Im not buying huge amounts of GC. I'm not buying custom amounts. It was ONE GC purchase and immediately banned again. Banned for supporting the site, that's super frustrating! It also isn't reviewed in 'a couple business days' like the automated private message states. You've now made me afraid to spend any money anywhere on your site and I still can't use the mp or trade after over 2 weeks back on the site.
Can you look into how you apply automatic suspensions upon GC or subscription to see if it needs some work? I can't be the only user returning after a hiatus.

As we said before we have implemented a new system to make sure that the purchases that are made are not any type of fraud. Since it is new, it's still learning your spending habits. Please be assured that unless we find fraud your account should not be banned. The more information we have the less this will happen. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. I'm very confident that it does remember a Gaian's account and whitelist upon approval. I will look into your account and try to see why this happened to you twice. The trading pass revoking actually is only related to GC purchase and not subscription. Either way I'll look into this issue. Sorry for the trouble.

We are looking into updating the R&G on many forums including those. Though, we may still be a bit vague in exactly what we say. Too often we have been very precise and had users troll others because they violate the spirit but not the letter and point to the rules and say "It doesn't say I couldn't do that!" and complain when we enforce the spirit as well as the rules as set. Not to say we aren't going to be clearer, just explaining why sometimes we have less definition. smile
Ah, right. I have seen that be an issue a bit on Gaia in the past. I was always wondering why the rules were so vague, but now I get it.
I was wondering if the next round of mod and/or FA training has been decided yet. I know you all said in a few ask the staff threads ago it was soon. I feel like moderation isn't up to par, and feel like we need new additions to Gaia's mod team and forum assistant team. I'm just really passionate about the forums and want them to be clean and free of spammers and NSFW content! I report whatever I run into which breaks R&G and/or ToS.

Is revamping the games (including towns and such) to work on a platform that is not flash a priority? I really feel if they weren't broken, people would play them and kickstart having people come back - hopefully.

Yes, converting current flash games to HTML5 is a priority for us, and Codemonkey is back making Towns 3, and other games after this. Progress had been slower than we'd like but we definitely want to be able to play some of these games on future browsers as well as on mobile devices.

Sorry, in regards to the Gaia Workshop, a few weeks ago I initially intended on voting for a particular issue stated within the Workshop. Ultimately, I voted for a particular fix request however, was unaware of the large platinum amount and at the time was unaware of the existence of platinum and its conversion rate to Gaia gold, in a sense and paid through gold. Consequently, I lost approximately, 180 billion gold which took years to accumulate. Hence, I was wondering if and how am I possibly able to attain an immediate refund, in a sense?

Idk if this allowed so I wanted to ask first (and I love gaia's current arists btw) but is there anyway we can use the gaia workshop to help hire on more artists so the workload for project custom wasn't held back as much? and it could help bring more art onto the site

Not sure if that can be done as the feature and the team behind it works quite differently than the art team, but it's worth a discussion. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'm an avid user of it and have been experiencing a problem where you can't access the Catwalk as well as not being able to see your plat and gcash amount. This hasn't happened before until just a few days ago. I currently use the app on my android galaxy s8 phone if that helps!
It would also be nice to see if other elements are added into the app like accessing the marketplace on there as well. I feel like details like that would give the app some great potential.

It's a ways away but we do want to make the current mobile app much better and more comprehensive so that we can introduce it to new, potential users. Though production had been slow, it's something that we want to get to.
