The Yatomura Residence

An impressive luxury house residing outside Vale, it has been home to the Yatomura family for many years now. Consisting of many rooms, it was once an extremely busy place full of people having meetings, family members and friends visiting. Many staff members have left since the fall of the name, and many have also left after the countless assassination attempts on the family members. Luna Yatomura resides here permanently, and is heavily guarded under the orders of her husband, Shin Yatomura.

The beautiful home is well secured, with many guards around at all times. People tend to the gardens whilst the remaining Yatomura child, Luca, trains hard at home, mostly with his father and a trainer.

The house inside is filled with beauty, an interior worthy of royalty. Pictures of the four children are everywhere, with flowers sat beside the eldest sons picture, Keaton, who was no longer with the family. The halls were once filled with children playing and family members laughing, however now it was eerily quiet. People still visited the family on a daily basis, meetings did take place and Shin Yatomura was desperate to clear the name and get his company back running again for the good of the world.

Dear Ms Sophie. Thank you for getting this information to me so quickly. I assume you've already gone to collect members of the council for a meeting. Bone is with Eteria by now. Robin with Agatane soon enough. While Angelo has just left the Sanctuary for Alfred. I trust your judgement in who else is needed.

Sophie quickly glanced at the list. The minister of defence at the top of the list? How about we start by ruling out natural causes and government mandated excavations and experiments before pinning the blame onto external factions.

She quickly made her way to the Yatomura Residence first. Once arrived at the gates she nodded to the guards and reached for her ID. Before she could unlock it from her belt Mr. Yatomura's guards began opening the gateway. Aren't you forgetting something? She asked patting her ID. Government employees have worked hard to come up with security protocols that help ensuring the safety of all Council members. How do you know I am who I appear to be and mean no harm to Mr. Yatomura? I think we just confirmed that. Replied one of the guards.

The mansion felt so different from when she was last here, hardly any staff walked the halls and the sound of laughter once so present was now drowned by an impenetrable silence. The corridor leading up to the minister's office was filled with large photos of the family. One, a large portrait of Keaton. She stopped in front of it to pay her respects. May we never have to go through something so traumatic again. She then proceeded to the office. After pausing to knock lightly she opened the door to the office and walked in.

Good Afternoon Mr. Yatomura. You've been summoned to a flash Council meeting by Mr. Aidou. While not compulsory it would be greatly appreciated that you attend to show your support for the Council. She paused for a few moments to let the minister notice the passive aggressiveness underlying the official message before continuing. Although it'd be my honour and pleasure to accompany you to the Sanctuary, I have been tasked with delivering this message to multiple members of the Council. If you could arrange for your personal guards to escort you that would allow me to swiftly complete my mission.

The head of the Yatomura household was busy tending to paperwork, signing off boring forms and talking to his advisers within the office in the household. The sounds of him slamming his hand on a table could be heard from a few rooms distance, as he was getting agitated at his staff, even though he knew the reasoning was not their fault. Another story had been published, more blackmail had been sent, his families lives ever at risk of being taken out. "I will not give in to their demands!" he yelled, sighing after a brief moment of silence. The advisers explained that if he just gave over the money or things that were demanded, they might leave him and his family alone. "You honestly believe that? In what world do you think they will take the money and leave?" he said, a sharp pain shooting up his neck as he touched it. He had been at the hand of a recent assassination attempt, it had left a bad scar up his neck but the assassin ended up in a much worse state - dead.

After another while of discussion, there was a knock at the door before a woman walked in. The staff in the room looked to her, interrupted by the sounds of arms being raised in the air as Shin stood up from his chair. "Ms Ocean!" he said, an elated tone in his voice. "What a pleasure to see you! How are you?" he added, as he walked around to the other side of his desk and leaned against it, nodding to his staff "We can discuss the details of my death later, alright?" he said, laughing in his low husky tone as they smirked and left.

"Good old Aidou eh? Is there a particular topic to this meeting?" he said, a friendly expression on his face. He took himself off from leaning on the table and walked to the bookcase, looking through it as he had a lightbulb moment. "Aha!" he said, taking a book out of it. "My daughter Lunia was given this book by him when she was but a babe by Aidou, it is about time I returned it to him.." he said, smiling.

"I trust you will accompany me to say my farewells to my wife?" he said, walking over to the door as he opened it, holding his hand out to allow Sophie to go through first, after all, he was a gentleman.
