The mythrill coin error should be fixed. We will run a script to refund the amount right after Christmas as we're right in the middle of working on the Christmas event.

Runway actually does not have any algorithms to favor one avatar over another. We used to pull in a group of avatars to present randomly, but that had changed a long time ago and all entries you see are pulled completely random from the server.

We have another team that wrapped the whole thing into a project of its own along with features that let you post as different avatars. Hopefully we'll have everything released shortly.

Hi there,
What gap are you referring to?
The most notable being trolling, namedropping, insults, and the selling of "signs".
Users from 3-5 years ago dont know these changes in policy.
We have been updating the forum rules and stickies which hopefully will help returning users.

There are only a few things that end up having a ban on the first occurrence, and those things are truly things you do not want on Gaia.
Depending on the violation people can merely get education (likely in a returning user), or a warning. And unless it's one of those above mentioned really bad violations one warning doesn't typically lead to a ban, unless it's over a pattern of violations (i.e.: You troll across multiple accounts, with multiple warnings).

Can we get a better idea of what's going on with all the email troubles? For the longest time people without a Gmail account weren't getting emails from Gaia at all, an now the problems are extending to Project Custom too. I've also seen many more people recently complaining about not getting password reset emails at all no matter how many times they try.

We were having trouble with our email server where gaiaonline.com email had been falling into people's spam folder. We are actively working on the issue though unfortunately we can't fix this immediately. The issue will be fixed ASAP. Speaking of which, we will make a site notice as it's taking longer to fix than we thought.

A PM is sent out everytime a subscription is successfully renewed. We can look into sending an email a day ahead of time.

I haven't yet, please provide me with any items that is not working for you.
It's EVERY item created after sometime around april 2018.
Sorry let me be more specific. Please provide an item name or item id, then I wouldn't need to start with start by looking through past item schedules, filter by item type, etc. The faster I can troubleshoot, the faster I can fix a bug. Thanks.

There are some of us here who just love the Fishing docks above all else. Considering the Flashpocalypse at the end of next year, has there been an update on when Fishing might be changed over to an HTML 5 edition?

We're working with a few contractors to convert the game to HTML5. Hope to have it ready sooner than later, but finishing is one of those games that are high on our radar.

Are you referring to the timer that a Gaian build to display glow times? Please provide as much detail as you can in a bug report, that will greatly increase the chance of an issue being fixed. Thank you.
I know that the link for the timer service recently stopped working. We can potentially build a similar tool, but it won't be done until after the Christmas event as we're completely focused on it at the moment.

Gaia used to have a system in place for users who would make banners or purchase ad space in different places such as, going to local libraries or school computer labs and leaving gaia on the front page, etc.
Then they would post what they did here with pictures or videos. I think the users who did got rewarded with silly items like picket signs, etc.
I don't remember the name of it, but would you think about promoting this type of thing again?

Will there be xmas caroling and 12 days items this year? Is there a big xmas Event in the works? I really enjoyed the tree decorating in 2017: very original and relaxing.
The tree decorating mechanic was actually meant to be something we can bring back every year. Let me see about having that along with the new Christmas event. Don't think there's the same caroling mechanic for this year though.

Sorry we had a different idea going into the Christmas event so it won't be LK based. It is a pretty fun idea that has a lot of potential, and I can't wait to share more detail with you all.

I had been hearing about this issue but have not been able to replicate it in our office and in our homes. If it's okay I'd like to PM you later to do some troubleshooting on the issue. Hope to get to the bottom of this error.

Myself, and others, have items disappearing from our inventory when a listing expires. Any idea when this will be fixed? It makes me hesitant to list items.
